  1. Lots of people are getting this... they have yet to address that there is anything wrong with this patch. Honestly, the lack of communication is the part I am most disappointed in with Bioware. Canceled my 6-month sub and changed it to month-to-month today. I'm trying to give this game a chance, but it's not looking so good right now.
  2. Same boat. Going to move our 6 month sub to month to month at this point. Bioware is closing threads with legit complaints instead of fixing. I really, really want this game to do well, but I'm not seeing it happening with Bioware's current progress.
  3. I took a couple mods out that were upgrades for other gear.
  4. Well there was a funnier thread, but it got Biowared. So now we have this HAPPY DAPPY WE LOVE THE WORLD! version.
  5. Same. There are some planets where the load screens are strangely long, but that's about it.
  6. My husband uses a Razer Naga and had no issues binding... did you check your drivers?
  7. I'd like to see bug fixes to master looter and chests in hard modes. They had that patch, but it did NOT fix those things. Dual spec would be nice. I heard the Bounty Hunter questline is bugged for people who go dark side. They can't complete the questline and can't pick up the level 50 dailies. Better customer service instead of canned replies. I rather have them take a week to reply and actually fix it, than 2 days to reply and not be helpful. I guess I want bug fixes and customer service more than features at the moment.
  8. OP has something right though - Bioware's responses to tickets are extremely weak. Messed up loot in Eternity Vault? "We've passed this ticket on" - ticket marked as closed (this was just patched supposedly, but they never did anything about the loot that was lost). Commendations stuck in bag? "We've passed this ticket on" - ticket marked as closed They're just giving a standard message without actually fixing anything.
  9. Is there some way to block from seeing someone's posts on the forums? All this Chomag guy does is troll and QQ. Really enjoying the game as well. I think this is the first game where I've paid attention fully to the story.
  10. My friend has one of the worst computers in the world, definitely no SSD and she doesn't sit on load screens for 30 seconds. There are way more factors than just the hard drive that go into a person's load time.
  11. Try the suggestions in this post: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=3396
  12. Rift had a great launch, but their world was and is TINY. Too many guilds cleared GSB and RoS and sat there waiting for Hammerknell. Lost a lot of people from that. If Bioware can keep up its replayability, fix some bugs and UI issues, and create some dynamic endgame content as good as the stuff I've seen so far from leveling... then I think I will be here for a long time. So far it's the most fun I've had in an MMO in a very very long time.
  13. 1. The maturity of gamers seems to have dropped off once WoW came out. Back in EQ days people were actually nice and friendly on forums and general chats. Sad that it's a thing of the past. 2. I encounter bugs but nothing so major that I'd freak out over. Not sure if people remember when WoW launched... but there would be server rollbacks and you'd actually LOSE progress. I know people are saying Bioware should learn from years of other MMOs. In some aspects I agree (*** UI), but I would imagine the voice overs, story quest areas, choices affecting outcoming, etc. create a whole new animal to test. 3. Slicing needs to be fixed. Tempted to drop a gathering skill and just buy materials with slicing... Anyway, I'm not worried. This is the most fun I've had in an MMO launch in a while. I feel like such a bad*** as a bounty hunter!
  14. It's all about wired connections when you game... ...but yea, check your setup and reboot your router. You can also buy a new router and test to see if it's a problem (return the router if it's not). I also recommend downloading overnight so it's like a present in the morning.
  15. I liked Rift's collector's edition. The mount scaled with your riding skill and was usable at level 1. And I am a vanity pet collector, so getting that was nice too. You also got a larger starting inventory bag and "founder" pricing for subscriptions ($2 cheaper per month than regular price). What sold me on the SWTOR Digital Deluxe was the vanity pet and the speeder. The droid sits in my bank and the speeder will save me some credits... but 8k credits is not that much at that level. I don't necessarily think it needs to be usable at level 1, but if it scaled with riding skill that would be awesome. Really hope they turn the droid into a pet. So yea... I would like to see some improvements made to the digital items as well. Awesome post to the OP - very well written. That being said, the game is very fun and I am enjoying it!
