  1. Actually, he did. We both did. 6 month ones actually. We canceled them last minute and went month-to-month because of how little there was to do at 50. And I like how no one can put a legitimate complaint in without people jumping down their throats about how they're asking for a "perfect game". No one in this thread has said they wanted a perfect game. However, there are some pretty serious bugs that have been in game since we started raiding. There have been some attempts at fixing them, but either the bugs are still there or they've introduced NEW bugs. I've played other buggy MMOs at launch - and they made some serious headway the first few weeks in resolving the major bugs in those games. Not seeing the same from Bioware. I understand that it's not all on the QA team. For all we know they found the bugs and the managers/production team chose to move the patch forward anyway. But the bottom line is that these bugs are still there after 5-6 weeks and a lot of people are not having fun because of it. You guys can keep playing if you're enjoying it. Great for you! Really. I wish I could find the same enjoyment from it. I'm just saying that there HAVE been much smoother launches, there HAVE been companies who communicate much, much better, and by far there have been better customer service teams.
  2. I have, I also have experience in testing it. I'm just pointing out that there are companies out there that have done it right. 1.) They respond to the community 2.) They identify the bugs, and fix them. 3.) They fess up when they mess up. 4.) Aim to decrease bugs. 5.) Provide great customer service. It doesn't matter if it's 2004 or 2012 for those things, but the fact of the matter is, Bioware is not doing a good job with any of these areas.
  3. Compare it to Rift's launch, not some game that came out in 2004. This is also 2 months in to launch and the end game content bugs are getting worse than our first time raiding a month and a half ago.
  4. This pretty much encapsulates how our group felt two weeks ago. We hit the unsubscribe time this week with the pylon bugs. Really sad about it because we wanted the game to work out. But the bottom line is, it's not fun.
  5. No, I'm not on your server and I already gave away my stuff. Grats on your Soa kill. We killed him last week in NMM 16 man our first week in trying nightmare mode. Encountered bugs on Annihilation Droid and Soa, so the night took WAY longer than it should have. We had to kill Soa on our 2nd raid night which cut down on our time in Karagga's. This week after the patch we couldn't get past PYLONS because they weren't clickable, even after resetting 4 times. So it was backwards progression because of... bugs! Cut the raid group to 8 man for the next night and they put 5 attempts on NMM Soa because of... bugs! They called it after that. Waste of time. Two weeks ago same thing, we also had to reset 3-4 times before pylons would be clickable. We also had a couple people die taking the taxi, which had supposedly been fixed. Not a big one, but pretty funny that it was still in game. The week before that, we had Soa bug out about 4 times before we killed him. Including invisible lightning and missing floor. (We almost got him on the missing floor attempt.) The week before that, we our first 16man Soa (decided to bump our group up from 8man) and he dropped NO loot. No purple glow coming from his body. At all. For anyone in the raid. By the way, there were patches each of those weeks. Some of these issues were addressed. Some of them introduced more bugs. Honestly, it's the Pylon boss bug that is the most annoying. We've tried "fixing" it with a variety of methods from stuff we've read on the forums, but the fact is, it changes every week. We're not "running away" from bugs. We don't want to pay a company for their incompetence.
  6. Rift... with maybe the exception of LFG, but I didn't have trouble finding a group. Also they were quick on fixing bugs AND communicating what they were fixing.
  7. The bugs in this game may not be broken for YOU, but they are for ME, and for many others. I primarily play so I can raid. I also pvp some, both on my 50 and on a lowbie... typically with a pre-made group. But the bugs have stripped my enjoyment of the game. === End Game Raiding Bugs It's a gamebreaking bug when you're resetting an instance multiple times just so you can CLICK on a pylon that for some reason isn't clickable. It's a gamebreaking bug when something that's supposed to be a DoT one-shots members of your raids. It's a gamebreaking bug when reticules that are supposed to show up, don't. It's a gamebreaking bug when you're getting a boss down to less than 3% and he randomly disappears. It's a gamebreaking bug when you typically like to min/max gear and you go to loot a boss and he either a) doesn't have loot or b) has way less loot than he should have or c) has all inquisitor gear for some reason. (And in all honesty, there's no reason to min/max your gear in this game, because the fights are easy... EXCEPT for the bugs.) === PVP Bugs You sit in queue for 10 minutes, get in a game, win, and then it doesn't count. Sure, I can keep playing, but it sucks when it was going to be "one last win" before you log off, and now you can't finish your daily. They patched this... and now they're patching the same bug... AGAIN! === I'm not sure what else you guys are doing at 50 that you get so much enjoyment out of. Maybe you're still leveling or leveling an alt. I'm not a big alt person, so maybe this just isn't the game for me. But saying that these are minor bugs is just ridiculous. People are achievement driven and Bioware seems to be doing everything in their power to prevent that. Oh, it's even better when you submit a ticket about your bug and you get a "customer service droid" replying to you with an answer that has absolutely nothing to do with your bug. (aka, they have zero reading comprehension) Even at this point, I would have been ok with some of these bugs if they would actually communicate that they recognize that people are having these problems. But it's like they're brushing them under a rug. Rift had issues on certain boss encounters - and yes, it would be frustrating. But they also addressed these bugs quickly, and openly communicated what they were working on. Anyway, if you guys are enjoying the game, good for you. Just understand that some of these issues are gamebreaking for others.
  8. Thank you for posting this. I could not have said it better. Their buggy game is one thing, but the lack of communication is the worst part. I like the childlike enthusiasm of the OP, but I can't mirror it at all because it's going to be too little, too late. Every day playing this game is just working around bugs. They claim to fix bugs, and then the bugs are either still there or new ones have appeared. And there's absolutely nothing to do at 50...
  9. Tonight's EV bugs caused 16 people to unsubscribe. Good job Bioware! I stick out games for a LONG time, and I'm usually pretty forgiving with it comes to buggy games. But this is just ridiculous.
  10. Having worked in QA in the video game industry, I agree. However, QA does have some pull by saying, "We ABSOLUTELY cannot let this go live." And the bottom line is, sometimes they report bugs as being fixed in the patch notes, when in reality nothing has changed with the bug or it's bugged in some new way. The fault of that is on the whole company. (Not individual testers, but the team as a whole.) After posting in this thread last night I realized how unbelievably unhappy I've been with the game. I was REALLY looking forward to raiding last night, but the bugs made it impossible. Most of my fun was hanging out with my guild, and I can do that without paying $15 a month.
  11. PROS 1.) It FEELS like Star Wars 2.) Epic class quest story lines - was really fun leveling up CONS 1.) Bugs that get "fixed" or that lead to more bugs 2.) Not much to do at level 50 The cons are why I'm about to unsubscribe. No, you can't have my stuff... giving it to my guildies. :-) Also their communication and customer service is terrible... and I can't really support a game that can't treat their customers right.
  12. We've been using round robin with a master looter who has autoloot turned off... works just as fast as ML for us. Just another alternative. :-)
  13. By the time they fix things it'll be too late. Pylons are newly bugged each week... after resetting 4 times tonight we gave up. One of our raiders literally uninstalled after tonight. This is a group that has been running since 2-3 weeks after pre-launch. Lots of us had high hopes for this game... oh well.
  14. The raid leader couldn't zone back in, so we had to reset the instance and Bonethrasher disappeared after that. Each week there's some new bug to work around... what will tonight bring? :-)
  15. Thanks, fixed. We killed some big fat ugly thing and it came back like a Rakghoul for absolutely no reason.
