  1. They are in no way a superflous reward, they are precisely what we need, so we can use the offhands on more than one char. And since the gree event for some reason is the rarest of them all, this was what we were hoping to get from the rewards. Actually the weapons are kinda useless other than new looks, because we can already get plenty of legacy weapons. And since the offhands, as you mention, doesnt have any gfx attached to them, them it should be very easy to include them in the boxes to make it fair for all classes.

That change is a nerf, since operatives/scoundrels are more suseptible to stuns after thier opener, and the fact that the current knockdown only build very little resolve, leaving plenty for a re-stun and a very effective stunlock. It is however a good change, since opening burst from ops/scoundrels is too much currently.
  4. I would aim for 25% crit and 75% surge. Put the rest in willpower and power. And forget everything about alacrity.
  5. 6) use cybertech stun grenades 7) keep your bubble up at all times if possible. 8) use forcepotency with selfheal 9) use terran to break LOS when needed 10) break LOS and heal, even if your not low. so you can sustain a hard stun + burst if needed.
  6. I play full ballance currently, and 1v1 i have very few problems, you just remeber to root, pushback run... and keep your dots up. Also my craft is cybertech so i have reusable grenades as an extra AEO intrerupt every 180secs, very usefull. I did duel this jug the other day that had a very nice counterspec for mine, and he could not be beaten though. But in wz's i can beat pretty much anyone 1v1 if i have all my cd's. As far as being top dmg, i never really tab dot much, i would rather focus players down, which is entirely possible with full ballance. But i did try tab dotting the first wz after dots became uncleansable and i dit 1.3m in a huttball, so if you need the numbers to feel good, its easy to achive. If you like ill post my spec.
  7. Time to try hybrid again maybe... I would switch out your 2 points in "force surge" and put them in "will of the sith" to gain 6% willpower. I havnt tried arena healing yet, but have been playing hybrid DPS which seems to be fine, but getting focused still hurst, even thougjh i have stun bubble.
  8. If its your main, then go cybertech for the reusable grenades. If its an alt, go for slicing, archeology and scaveging to get 3 gathering skills with crit...

As it is becomming very clear that BW does not have a way to stop people from macroclicking to get the ball on spawn, i suggest the following change to the mechanic. - Add 2 more ballspawns in the center - Make the ball spawn randomly in one of the threee locations. - First spawn should spawn 20 secs into the match at a random location. Simple cahnge, but i think it would make the games even more enjoyable.
  10. @robegan: i would take humility at any time when going healing, a 25% dmg reduction after you stun someone is pretty good. So move one point from either serenity or life ward to humility @pyradius: Your build looks pretty good, but i wouldnt go into wz's without 2 points in painbarrier, remember you heal yourself alot as well. And i think you can spare the points from Confound, because that slow isnt really that good. Solid build otherwise.

  12. Has anyone tried tank spec in pvp? It looks promising to me, but i would love to get some input on specs and experiences in pvp.
  13. The build you linked seems to have 7 points in tier 1, so you can do without the 2 points. And we still get kinetic collapse, just only for bubbles on us, which is still very good.
  14. I would take those in points in force gift to 2% Alacrity to speed op casting and force regen. I havnt played enough to see if its worth it, but if not, then put the points in kinetic collapse to gain stun bubble for yourself. Even putting them in Psychic suffusion seems better/more fun. Nothing like kncking foes from your friends and healing them at the same time.
  15. Happened in Civil War today for me. It was next to mid, but towards snow... just targeted a jugg and after maybe 5 secs he died instantly... Not sure if this is the first report of it happening other places than hypergate, but i heard guildmates reportng it happening in hypergate as well.

TK throw has 20% Proc chance and Disturbance had 60% proc chance Tier 4 No more instant forcelift :-(( only a 0.5 sec decrase in activation time.the 2 sec stun remains. Tier 3 no changes Tier 2 Up heavel is gone(moved to tier 1 of TK tree. 9% dmg boost to periotic effects Tier 1 no change SEER TRE Tier 1 Forcewave has 100% to heal affected allies for 1145 :-) 2 % Alacrity increase Tier 2 Humilty: new passive = when targets recovers from forcestun they deal 25% less dmg for 10 secs :-) This seems to be an awesome spec for a full ballance spec. you could argue that going into TK tree and getting the force regen proc on disturbance also would be good, but the humility skill + 8% buff to helaing recived, healing on forcewave and 75% reduction in activation pushback is worth i think. I am curious to see how good it will be to have alacrity as well, those 2% exstra in seer tree tier one, might be pretty good as well. Thoughts?
  18. While kinetic is by far the obvious choice for pvp and team support, i highly recommend trying infiltration and ballance as well. i had alot of fun playing infiltration in the 10-49 bracket. its also a bit more forgiving enviroment to try out different specs and find out what you like.
  19. I know how you feel, i recently rerolled from a dying server and left and 50 sage and 50 powertech behind. i have always been an altoholic, but not anymore, shadow is the first class that i dont feel like playing an alt with.
  20. They pretty much didnt touch our class in the patch, but one thing is for sure, you see alot less healers around after 1.2.

Well, the way they modified expertise contribution to dmg/dmg red./healing has alot to do with it. makes a bit dif as before it was equal buff to both dmg boost, dmg reduction and healing boost, and most people had about 12%. now we all have about 22-24% dmg boost, 18-20% dmg reduction and about 12-14% healing boost. so soloing you should feel about 5% more squishy, but the real difference is when your expecting to be kept up by a healer, because healing boost is only half of what dmg boost is. but is it any particular class that hurts more than before? mara/jugs maybe?
  22. I cant be the only one that thinks that tweeking the expertise has affected the gameplay in pvp in a very bad way, for healers at least. DPS players gets lots of easy kills now so i am sure they are happy, until they get focused that is. Expertise contribution was changed so that it had a bigger impact in pvp, which is fine by me, i am 100% pvp players and i would always prefer an armor system with pvp gear, aquired through pvp, that was the best for pvp. But WHY???? did you make dmg contribution so much higher than dmg reduction contribution and even worse healing contribution. I did not mind the class changes at all, even though i play a sage healer, but the expertise change has made it so that its probably better to have 8 DPS in a wz group, than to take healers at all. Please comment on this, both players and devs.
