  1. Probably. But Snipers don't have any healing, Operatives do.
  2. I much prefer Kira for the social part of the game. But for combat Doc has made it much easier for me. Now that I'm at the level that it seems every mob has some sort of dot to put on me, I find Doc to be a must have in combat.
  3. ^ Seesm pretty close to what I have. Except I have the 30% slow talent on interrogation probe instead of the vitality serum (4% endurance).
  4. If you already have a scoundrel I'd probably go with the Sniper if I were you. I've been leveling both. The Sniper is a lot of faster to level with. Operative feels a bit clumsy but it does have the advantage of having more control over the encounter.
  5. I stopped playing mine a while ago, before I even knew about any kind of nerf. Operative just wasn't any fun for me to play. Been leveling a Sniper, seems a bit more fun plus I'd like to see the rest of the IA story. Playing an operative was just ponderous for me.
  6. Do the people doing the camping actually enjoy this? I'd rather play minesweeper or solitaire than camp an area for hours.
  7. OP, did you play Aion when it came out? You literally could not move when at a siege in the Abyss. They had put in a feature that would turn off all of the characters except for the nameplates just to make it playable.
  8. I'm assuming this is at level 50? Operative concealment doesn't really come into its own until you get hidden strike and the corresponding knockdown talents with it. I believe you get the ability at level 36, not sure when you can talent the knockdown for it.
  9. You still have more work to do then. Just keep progressing on your class missions, you'll get there.
  10. I find that the class defines itself more as you level. At level 34, concealment spec, almost everything I do is at melee range.
  11. I think a better LFG tool is needed. For those not having a problem finding groups now, well duh, the game just came out. Groups have never been a problem in new mmos. In 3 months it will certainly be a different story however.
  12. I've been leveling as concealment (currently level 34) and it seems fine. If you have played other rogue/assassin type classes in other mmos then you will feel right at home with this spec.
  13. Must be your server. I've yet to see another Operative in any other pvp match that I've played. I've seen quite a few snipers though.
  14. Kind of reminds me a bit of when AoC released. The stats didn't do a darn thing, you would do the same damage naked or armored.
  15. This I don't remember downloading anything.
  16. I have to agree 100%. I'm pretty picky about the guild I want to play in. And there is absolutely no way I will search through 200 pages of the general guild hall forum to try and find one on my server. Server forums are needed just for guilds alone.
  17. I didn't read through the whole thread but perhaps they could supply a roll bonus to actual characters who can use the weapon/armor. Put it on the Need roll only. Give a +100 bonus to the BH in the original posters example on the need roll. That way people who can't use but roll need for the companions can only get them if another player, that can use the item, but decided not to roll need on it.
  18. My level 26 Operative got a spoiler about the last part of the Imperial Agent class questline from a quest giver in the Imperial Fleet. I was a bit upset about that.
  19. I found Balmorra to be great. It felt like a war there.
  20. I understand that. But it really feels like corridors. If they were more like Dues Ex: HR and how it has its cities then that wouldn't be so bad. But right now they feel like I'm in a bunch of packed warehouses.
