Couple of things I noticed on my first couple of LFG tool uses. I had defaults selected and went to first group. 1) One person didn't show right away (bio break) and another group member started the vote to kick. I did not vote (was trying to ask group member why he started this when it had only been a few minutes) but member was kicked anyway. A non-vote shouldn't be counted as a yes! I would assume a group vote should be unanimous in order to kick. 2) We ran into the "group is valid" issue after member was kicked and had to drop the group and rejoin queue. This is well documented by now I assume. 3) When queuing again, now my defaults were set to have HM FP tier 2 (Lost Island) selected even though it was deselected the first time around. As far as I could figure, my defaults were now changed to match that of other members of my first group. That shouldn't happen. I didn't have HM Lost Island selected because I am not appropriately geared for it and my defaults shouldn't change based on what other members of my group have selected. Just throwing those out though I am sure others have already put more indepth info out there on these issues.

I have the Razer Naga Epic and I would have to agree with Riot about not really using the software for any setup. I think I tweaked some DPI settings and such but nothing to actually do with the settings for the number keys on the side. Hopefully getting a new one will fix the issue. Hope you enjoy it once you get it working! Let us know. There is a bit of a learning curve to it but I couldn't imagine playing the game without it now!

Also, certain crafting skills will allow you to craft Rakata pieces. My synthweaver was able to craft her Rakata bracers and belt. They're pretty hard to make on your own unless you have a guild that can supply some of the materials or buy off of the GTN.

Welcome to SWTOR and the Lord Adraas server! I hope you continue to enjoy your time! I find the population of the Lord Adraas server to be an upstanding and fun bunch.

The only problem I see is that if sprint is the new walk and advance sprint the new sprint, won't people just be complaining again for the same reason? That it is so slow once you have a toon that can go faster? Seems like a vicious circle to me. Genuinely curious here.

Hate the exterior but like the interior. I never get lost in my troopers ship but get lost in my Jedi ship all the time. The only positive to my Jedi was mentioned above that getting from the flight deck to the door is FAST. Also constantly get lost while visiting my Smuggler friend's ship... Basically, it comes down to never letting me lead. I have a horrible sense of direction.

SWTOR has zero bearing on my choice to buy ME3. Made by same company? Yes. Quality of one game makes my decision on another by same company? No. These are two different games, done by different teams of developers. I pre-ordered ME3 and set aside vacation time before I ever decided I was going to try SWTOR (which I like btw).

So I've been playing for awhile and now that I've got so many skills, my keybinds are getting cumbersome (to me, at least) so I'm thinking of getting a gaming keyboard (eg a Logitech 110) or gaming mouse (eg Razer Naga) for the conveniently located extra buttons to help out with the situation. I think both would be overkill but can't decide which would be more helpful. Does anyone have experience with one or both of these that can give me some useful feedback? Appreciate any help you can provide!!

Flashpoints will usually drop orange level armor as well. You are probably too low at the moment but my Guard picked up a nice set out of Mandelorian Raiders.

Love my Guardian Tank but it takes a lot of work and planning to keep threat on scattered mobs (at least in the early going. I've heard it gets better in higher lvls). Does a great job when able to focus on small clustered mobs or a single target. To each their own tho! Some people like other tanks because their easier and some like them because they are harder!

Agree. I'm a story junkie. That's why I play games. I enjoy the blowing things up to a certain degree but why I play is to find out the STORY. I've finished exactly one Final Fantasy game because, while the story is usually intriguing, there is just too much grinding needed. Funny you should mention the trooper part and smoke and grease. On the Taris quest "Burnoff" the quest giver mentions that he smells smoke and assumes you were successful with your mission. My quip to myself is that was my trooper's perfume he was smelling. Alright. I'm ready for the flames. Won't notice them though because I'll be too busy playing!

Loving this game. I'm patient enough to know it has only been out a short time and changes will keep coming and it will keep getting better and better. Even more fun when my friends/coworkers are playing with me!

I have not gotten that to work. Are you on Win7? Would love to get it working when my coworker starts chattering when I'm in dialogue!

I also have Turtle Beach X12's as well as two of my friends that play and we all love them. Never had any problems with them and the sound quality is good. I only had them make my ears hurt once but it was because I didn't have the band adjusted properly. Seen them go on sale on Amazon for $30-35 before.

Yes yes yes. Love using the Ops frame as a healer but then can't see companions. Maybe have their health bar a different color/shade so you can tell the difference?

Same as the rest. 5770 running on a Intel i5, 8Gb RAM, Win7 64-bit and it runs great.

Which RP server are people on? I'm on Lord Adraas and always looking for good, fun people to group with (lvl 27 Guardian and lvl 17 Commando). I'm brand new to MMO's as well and have had the same experiences listed here (great and bad groups).

Loving my combat medic and definitely don't think she's worthless when any group I'm with sends major kudos at the end of encounters for "great healing" and when I'm running just a two man group with my best friend (and our companions) she complains her gunslinger can't even pop her cover and target before I've mowed the mob down. Agree with others that some more practice will probably help solve the issues. What kind of gear are they running? Specs?
