I'm unsure where the OP is getting his/her info but the best I could find on the web was a 3 year old article here -and- There was another "hint" here last September. Both references to it are almost complete speculation however. The 3 year old one.... Ehhhh, perhaps. That was 3 years ago though.

Apparently you do not understand the concept of "WORLD WIDE" web.

They must draw the line somewhere. You're lucky they even GAVE a grace period at all. That's something they are doing out of understanding of people in a situation like yours and you're still going to complain? Typical. You need to contact your merchant as they said in the official news posting regarding the grace period.

Not everyone is satisfied with a digital copy. Some people want a physical one but, for reasons of their own, would not or could not pre-order it? Does this truly need an explanation?

Yes, as a matter of fact, I haven't EVER had to pay some pre-order "fee". It has always been taken off the price at pick-up time. ALWAYS.

First I have ever heard of this. Every pre-order I have ever done has taken the money up front off the top at pick-up time. It may be... perhaps... it's possible, however, I believe unlikely

But you did not pay anything extra. You paid the same exact amount as someone else who will buy it when it hits the shelf on the 20th.

Before anyone gets their panties in a wad, this is just an attempt to inform the misguided and seemingly misinformed. If you paid $5 when you pre-ordered, you did not pay anything "extra". Unless the seller you purchased it from has scammed you (in which case you need to confront them about it) that $5 will be taken off the top of your price when you pick up your pre-order at your merchant. That should have been clearly marked on the pre-order box when you took it off the shelf. Now please, people, please stop complaining about some "lost" $5. It isn't lost at all. You just temporarily misplaced it.

Dear Bioware, I truly must wonder.. If you are so unsure what your servers can handle, what, exactly, was the point of the Beta Test Weekend? Wasn't THAT weekend to TEST the servers and see what they could handle? Did you learn absolutely nothing from it? Did you not invite enough people in to test it properly? You had all the numbers. You knew just how many pre-orders you had. You knew how high the demand was. So now, here we are with MANY people very upset with the way this situation is being handled. IMHO, very poorly. Every one of these people have paid the same amount of money as everyone else that is currently playing. Somehow, I, and apparently others, feel a bit "put out". Then to stop sending invites for the day and make the rest wait until tomorrow for a "possible" invite to play? Really? *saddened head shake* Nothing good can come of this, I assure you. We can only hope that you, and perhaps other companies like you, will actually learn something from this.
