More like "server first DF NiM pre nerf 5/5 and 4/5 with our second team getting to 20% at Brontes in 8M" is a (I'm not sure if deliberately) misleading statement. It'd be like me saying "I got the world first pre-nerf 5/5 DF NiM kill with Severity Gaming", and then claiming what i really meant was I was in on my guild's first 8m kill (which was weeks behind). Anyone reading that is going to assume I'm claiming a world first kill.

Couldn't everyone just delete their Underworld BA relics and tell a CSR it was a 186?

Anyone working on Council is in mostly 186 gear. There isn't a full tier of gear upgrades left, most of the items came out of DF over the last ~4 months and DP over the last ~2, and the DPS increase from getting everyone their mainhands isn't going to be 11% per person (what you would need to cut out one of your dps). Sorry for derailing your thread (but not sorry enough to stop)

Tanks can take far more than 2 if they're careful to keep the right CDs up for the last phase. It looks like you're using sin/jug as your tanks? If you want to make the last phase last a long time, make sure your tanks have at least their pull (for the sin), AOE taunts, and reflect/shroud up. A sin can take 3 balls by finding 2 that are close together and pulling a third in, AOE taunting, shrouding, and running through them all. If you're really quick you can sometimes get a 4th in shroud by single target taunting and sprinting to it. That sets you up to take a 4th (or 5th, if you got to shroud 4) by stunning it and waiting on your single target taunt to come back up so you can take it either with blackout or no DCD, depending on how high HP you are, or just suiciding it if it's in a bad spot and you just want to blow it up (If you're smart with CDs you can get far more than this as a sin, you have a ton of tools). A jug can't get quite as many, because they can't pull, but AOE taunting 2 into reflect + a leap and single target taunt on a 3rd before reflect wears off is an easy 3, and between choke and backhand you can control a 4th long enough to pop it safely even if you have no other CDs up. Having your tanks up eating more balls at the end will help give a bunch more DPS uptime on the boss and cut into that 8% quite a bit.

That also wasn't the timed run title, just the title for killing the fight with the nightmare power buff, so we could wipe a couple times and still get the title for the customer. The corresponding title in DP is "Deposer of the Dread Masters". It should be possible to sell "Deposer of the Dread Masters" on 16m to an appropriately geared person if the customer is willing to try long enough to get a pull with good RNG, but I know no 16m groups are in a position to try it. Selling "Dread Master" by doing a timed run (completing NiM DP in under an hour) likely won't be a thing until after the nightmare power buff is removed.

For a fact? I'd love to see that. What guild is doing it? Heck, I'd love to see a guild clearing 16m NiM council in full 180s. That would be quite the kill.

Not for council. It's all a costume. If you want your toon to look like a dread master, and the gear/titles are available to make that happen, why not?

Perhaps the point isn't to wave epeen, but instead to make his character look exactly the way he likes? If you want to look like a dread master and have the name of a dread master there's no harm in buying it. It's just like any cartel armor off the GTN, you just have to buy it directly from players.
