It doesn't have to be a cc ability to use that. Shock and electrocute work with it. Unless you consider those cc as well...

Make sure you have shadows turned off. If your system is having issues running the game that is one of the easiest fixes.

I have found that there are a ton of broken nodes for Archaeology. Haven't seen an acknowledgement of it, but there is also no search function that I can locate on these forums...

The only issue I have with the system is the broken nodes... I usually find far more of those than I do of ones I can actually use.

You can also leave a channel by typing /cleave channel name. ie /cleave general

Is there someway to raise this other than missions? My Archaeology and Artificing are well over 100, but Treasure hunting is quite low...

As far as I know, it is a known issue they are working on.

Sounds like overheating. Mine was doing the exact same thing in Beta. I used that CPUID program and my video card was running at 228 degrees. Bought a $30 cooling pad with a few fans in it, and I can run the game for hours with no problem at all. Also try getting a can of compressed air and spraying out the fan and the insides if you can get the cover off with out causing problems. Talk to the manufacturer and see if it is still in warranty. That should be something that is covered.

Nevermind... found the problem

I've been playing the game since it launched, and got a friend of mine to play. he is a Mercenary now, but all of the sudden he can't use his right mouse button to attack like he had been. He was getting a "You are not controlled" message, and I told him to reset his UI defaults, The message went away, but he is still unable to attack with that. Thanks for any assistance!
