I'm having this same problem as well. Can't get it so I can activate the droids shields and attack them. They all show as friendly EDIT: Got it to work. Just stand right next to a droid, select em' and then the quest item shield deactivor should be able to be used and that will make the droids hostile.

A few questions from a new player. Maybe these will get answered later on as I play as I am only level six, so sorry if I am jumping the gun. 1. Certain players names appear green, instead of the usual blue. What does this mean? 2. Can I filter chat? I'd like to only be able to hear form people in my guild, not all the idle chit chat going on around me. I'm not really interested in how drunk you got on NYE's no offense. I know how to talk to just my guild (/g) but not how to only hear from my guild. 3. Certain items in my inventory have different colors around them. Is there a break down of what these colors mean? 4. I have heard about the auction house. Is this something in game or is it an external component of the game? 5. Does siting have any benefit? 6. When grouped up, is there any sort of way to voice communitcate in game if you partner has a mic? Or is there a way to at least ping the map or something?
