I've been playing since EGA and I'm STILL trying to get myself interested enough to AT LEAST have ONE 50 by GW2 . . the weeks are counting down, as are my days left on the current month of sub . . . will I do it?.. 10 levels in 3 weeks Edit: Still glad I left WoW for Swtor, sad I wasted cash on D3 - everything I've seen on GW2 looks win .. swtor 'looked' good, but 'sounded' real bad.. I should have listend... AHHHH MY CE DOLLARS!

When I login to the game (launcher), FORCES me to choose my 'instance' (I made the mistake of selecting "yes" for the test realms ONCE... now every single time I login . . ./sigh) Whenever I hit reply in the forum, it sends me BACK to the swtor homepage where I get to go find my thread again that I was trying to respond to lastly - HURRAH ANOTHER GAWD DAYAM NIGHTLY MAINTENANCE - yes some of us get upset b/c we can only play the game ~10pm-1 or 2am, so 3 weekly maintenances REALLY get old.

Absolutely - however I don't think there is any "new content" (aside from the 'Black Hole'), it's just not a little easier to get to it. Also, the new Tutorials are AWESOME, as with WoW I scratch my head wondering... "No why did they revamp this system more than 6 months after release ? ? ?" /shrug, hf, I did but am about to cancel as I have a few days left on this month

As expected. I came back to the game in 1.3 for several reasons, this being high on the chart. But as with any "public group finder" you have cry babies, elitests, ninja's, etc. Tanks, like to leave when someone doesn't listen to them like a slave, wipe once and they /qq-quit Healers, yes, you queued heals to get in faster, please actually HEAL DPS, yes, the roses are pretty, please pay attention, stop aggroing everything, making the QQ-tank quit

Agree and why not - this game has already broken so many expectations and "rules". Just for fun, who else is sick of stunlock/knockback-snare based PVP, I love watching the in-game cinematics, get you all pumped up for PvP Star Wars style, then /warzone and . . . "Cannot do that while stunned". Lol, resolve.

They were "out", but many came back. I still know a bunch of old guildies that haven't come back, I just refuse to keep playing a game where you have to kite a mob for 5 minutes because he runs 3x faster than you and 1 shots you .... OOooo infer... NO D3 failed bad, Blizzards first big disaster (started with a 6 month delay in release I thinks) /shrug

Absolutely - I resubbed when 1.3 hit and there are LOTS of good improvements, but once you've played another month or so you start to remember why you quit, you feel like you're in a box, playing Star Wars, the Ole' Loading Screen Republic. For now, it beats WoW, but that's not saying a whole lot imo.

imo GOOD - the combat is awful, I feel like I'm playing a turn based RPG only there are more stuns and I have the freedom to scroll my horizon as I wait for my turn. Imagin FF VII, only less fun but with the option to 'Camera Pivot' combat

If Tera were f2p I'd be on it right now - looking forward to GW2 not because I've been a raging fanboy for years but bc it will also be a pretty good looking f2p model game. I hear tera is close to f2p, and honestly SWTOR only just barely has my sub bc I won't spend $50 buying Tera when GW2 is so close and it's most likely going there in 2 months or so. On that note, I think SWTOR will have the population to "hold" the game but only because of those hardcore SW fans that played an awful "SWG" game for a decade, but it will probably be moving f2p in the next year and EA will think of other ways to comp that 300 million they blew, like "black green sabers" or "get your free speeder for spending $30+ to have a friend sub" and so on and so forth.

Absolutely NOT worth it. As many in this post, I feel cheated for buying the CE. The vendor is absolutely not just a vendor that you have to take 2 minutes to run up to and stand in a COMPLETELY lackluster empty area without even one other single person because there is NO reason to be there because its so bland and boo, but they sell absolutely useless trash, but it is (for me probably the MAIN draw of the CE) something you can BUY ACCESS TO FOR A MILLION CREDITS, A BIG FAT EFF YOU TO YOUR CE FANS BIOWARE THANKS FOR MAKING THIS AN OPTION AFTER I SPENT MY CASH. ... I would go on but what's the point - don't waste your money, if you FOUND a CE, it would barely be worth spending your time opening the box and spending the time "upgrading" you account.

1. No, after playing the same missions over and over and over and over, I've lowered my volume overall. 2. Yes, but only because it lets me focus on my background music/mp3's 3. No, also it's complete fail that the music doesn't LOOP or provide any option to LOOP - in fact it's so sparse I revert to my answer 2. 4. Yes.

I'm one of the people who left after being spat on by SoE and losing months of "Jedi" grinding only to learn that oh wait, you can now ROLE a Jedi at the 'selection' screen. Never againg, bye Sony.

Anyone else have this annoying and pointless issue - you can hear the game sound/music, you hear your character perform an action (e.g. mount their speeder) and if you move you see the edges of the screen move freely, yet it always takes anywhere from 5 to say 30 seconds for the stupid load screen to disappear and show you your game screen.

The last time this game went down 3 nights in a row, I don't know I don't record things like that to my Journal only to quote them on the forum 2 months after I quit ... however, anyone who has been playing since launch knows that this game has gone down 3 nights (maybe not in a row but certainly in 1 week) SEVERAL times, and it has been pretty much common that it goes down for 2 nights of maintenance a week In any case, sad to see it's still "stabilizing". . . /disappointed, I have 2 more weeks before they want my new lewts, I have to time to decide if I really want to endure this BS

This game is just more frustrating than anything, I canceld maybe a couple months ago, came back tho with hopes of 1.3, group finder, etc., find myself logging off annoyed after "having fun"... yes, maintenance tonight was the cherry. Think I'll be cancelling again

Just ran Maelstrom prison, sent. chest drops off first boss .. mysteriously group "can't rez", I release run back.. /shock the other sentinel has the chestpiece on, it's no longer on the boss/body.. yes, I won the roll. /annoyed, can you like fix this or something?

You've probably already thought of this but . . . You could always find the Shadow/Sage lower robe (orange) and mod it for your Sentinel. I don't know of any sent lower"robe", been playing since EGA and have yet to see one. We just get to use more 'advanced' looking robes with completely random and apparently useless pieces of metal (like jetpacks, only they don't work ) hangin' off them Sorry & GL with your 'light' armor robe

I mean really, "Everything you need to make an online game" !? 300 million and you 'buy' an engine?... ... THAT engine!? Not if you ask that guy "Swifty" from wow... I was browsing some D3 stuff on youtube a while ago, found a "ZOMG I HAS BEEN PERMABANNED" vid, he as all heartbroken.. "it's not just a game, it's 6 years of my life, the same toon, friends, experiences"... that guy has it bad. but you are right, as are most things we trivial little beings do with our tiny amount of time in this universe, and the LAST thing I'm going to do is spend anymore time in a forum for a video game that I cancelled .. ta ta - GL, HF, cool story bro, etc. etc.

Sheer boredom - I've rerolled about 10 times already and I literally cannot stomach doing the first 5 planets AGAIN.... besides, there is so much more wrong than just lack of population, that's just the biggest slap in your face.

My point was that WoW isn't "driven" by it's story, though IF someone does actually follow it there is little impact to the game (most people I've known just click "accept" and NEVER read more than one or two quest dialogue line) and BioWare really boasts about their voice acting, character choice and dictating their own experience, etc. etc., most games (WoW included) have a story to make you smashing trolls instead of space monkies or storm troopers relevant - and you don't have a 60-300 second load screen every 30 minutes in WoW/Rift/Etc., /shrug, I should just stop, I've cancelled and most people question ones logic who continues to post after quitting.... but I still has my 8 days I does, I still has 8!... well, less than that once Diablo hits .. bwahahahah
