  1. Amazing stuff! Kinda have me wanting to switch from my Deception build and try this out. Question though, what type of Armor are you focusing on with this 23/1/17 build? Stalker, Force-Master, Mystic? Should I be buffing crit, surge, power? Your Assassin is amazing, any help is appreciated.
  2. I understand that gear help, but does it make up for all these problems? I just dont understand how a pure DPS, light armor class/build can be so gimped compared to other classes that have far more DPS, shields and Armor. I feel like I'm no help to my team with this current build/class. I refuse to play a pure tank build because I just never liked playing tank classes. Why would an Assassin be a tank anyway? Thanks for any advice
  3. So I am fairly new to SWTOR. I came in and picked an Assassin because I spent many years playing a Rogue in WoW and other MMO's. I grind to 50, get my PvP starter armor, jump into some WZ action and absolutely get HAMMERED! Once I break stealth I don't last but a few seconds before I am shredded to death. - I have 3 stuns, one 2 second stun, one 4 second stun and then mind control. It seems like anytime I break stealth I am stunned and dead before it even breaks. My stuns are kinda lame compared to the stuns I am getting hit with. Dont get me started on trying to get in close to some other classes with their 2454235 stuns it feels like. - I have NO armor it feels like. Yet other light armor classes are tanking hits like a bawss. - You would figure that an "Assassin" would hit fairly hard! My highest crits are in the 4K range. My Maul, Spark and Discharge all hit between 2k-3K on average (not bad). My problem is that EVERY class is hitting me for 5K plus?? Juggernauts, Marauders, Snipers, you name it they are all hitting harder than me and can take more hits than me?? I play a 0/31/8 pure DPS build. What am I doing wrong? Or does BW just hate Assassins? I really REALLY want to love this class because it is what I am use to playing. I'm not trying to flame either. I just need some help here. - Is it my gear? Does the higher tier PvP armor make THAT much of a difference? - Is it my spec? I figured my spec would be kill fast/die fast. The problem is that I am NOT killing fast due to the other classes armor/shields/stuns . . and they all hit harder than me it feels like. Could some Assassin pro's please show me the light (if there is one)!
  4. The game is growing again. They have made some very healthy changes and some nice additions. SW:ToR is in no danger of "being over soon". The new servers are Heavy/Very Heavy/Full 90% of the time. It will continue to get even better from here. Don't pay attention to the trolls.
  5. I remember hunting Krayt Dragons with my 3 AT-ST's out at the same time.
  6. My entire guild quit when NGE launched. I messed around a bit with the new stuff but SWG was never the same again. I remember launching SWG on day 1, that should show my age a little, never had that much fun in any MMO. Then came player cities, mounts, vehicles and so on. Some of the stuff SWG did, I wish BW would pick up on. Player bounties were amazing, open world PvP was the best, player housing (How does a 2012 MMO not have player housing?). I miss the good ol' days
  7. I was curious how many old SWG vets are now playing SWToR. I was amazed by how many people in GC talked about old SWG stories. So who were you in SWG? I started off on Starsider as "Exodia Omega" (I know, horrible name). I was, to my knowledge, the first Master Bounty Hunter (Before mounts and tracking fix). My guild (TAO) eventually moved over to the Radiant server for fresh PvP. On Radiant I was "Exodius". I still remember a lot of old names: Kizer, Shindo, Idejder, Iphea, H'bsr, Lok'naster, Boshi, Elvis, Sheree, and many more. So who were you?
  8. Hey everyone, I'm a little late to the party but the updates are installing now. I'm looking for advice on choosing a server. I want to play on a highly active and populated East Coast PvP server. I'm thinking of rolling Imperial on my first character. Any suggestions? I read that Prophecy of the Five and The Fatman are the main two East Coast PvP servers. Which one would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
