  1. If you want faster pvp qs you shouldnt choose pve server /captin hindsight Also /thread
  2. Tanks can't heal, can't dps, guard is their main ability. Nerfing it will make this class obsolete in pvp. The legend says that you can unlock an achievement for playing 10 matches as a tank without biting your keyboard
  3. Why do I have this strange feeling that this is a QQ thread in disguise? I mean, really - tanks are pretty much useless in regs, and you want to nerf them even harder, so anybody who will q as a tank should be checked for a mental illness?

But ok, it's going to get better. The class is going to be (watch out!) butchered. Butchered by 2 lines of small nerfs. Srlsy so the one less stun (1,5 second stun) and some minor tweak to the healing tree is going to butcher the class. This is just so cool strory

  6. Fixed Let's talk about numbers - mayby about the 4200 number, does it ring any bell? C'mon, it surely does, concealment dps, alonge with boatload of dcd. Or maybe - why does the one class have a auto aoe crit that can hit for 10k and it can be repeated after 15seks if not less? And this goes for how long? Bo ok. I just tank every single nerf that sorc/sage get, every single buff for any other classes. I just deal with it. But the 2.6 was just enough for me. If not the upcoming 2.7 changes i would be now passing the low bracket with scoundrel, op and sentinel (guess what skill tree...). And from what I've saw in the lowbies pvp - i wasn't alone with it, coz many people took that road. If BW didn't do something with this, in 2 mouths pvp would be flooded with rage maras and concealment/medicine ops. I'm just happy with this course of action. And on a side note: Half of the page buffs (2.6 patch) + one-liner nerf (one less stun - 2.7 patch info) = broken class OP healer for eternity + one-liner adjustment (not even nerf, 2.7 patch info) = broken class Wow such logic
  7. Ok, yeah, but quoting Adam Jensen "I never ask for this". And i would be pleased if those events would have an option "turn off". Or at least they wouldn't affect pvp as they are doing it now. At first it works as a free stun, that activates every few seconds, last 3 secs, it persists through death, it ignor sresolve bar. If you want to buy vaccine with an average 5 deaths per wz - it will cost you 10k, play 10 matches and you're -100k credits. It may not be a big money, but c'mon it's still 100k. And you need to buy new vaccines every day.. And even if it's not you, you can still be playing with bunch of ppl who have it, and there goes your whole match. It's just not cool.
  8. But this still doesn't change the fact that i don't like the idea of being infected in the first place and what's more importatnt i don't like being stun for 3-4 seconds every minute or more. The relic ok, but I don't do events coz i don't like them. So no Aldeeran and no relic for me. I just hate being forced to do something that i don't like and I really really don't like this event.
  9. Can you just fix the pvp part of this event? I don't mind it, but it's just plain stupid that now i must spend something like ~10k every match on every toon to get rid of this plague over and over again. Either way make the vaccine persist through defeat in wzs, or deactivate the whole bloody thing in wzs. I can understand that for some ppl this is fun, but it isn't for me. I'm on the verge of give up pvp, and so on the whole game for the time of this event.

I heard (reddit) that they will finally fix sage/sorcs healers - - Now while running you will leave Force Trail that will heal everyone for small amount of HP. - force cost of Force Armour/Static barrier will be lower by 100% along with the damage absorption - Devs acknowledge that sorc/sage healers are really squishy in the Arenas so we will get a new ability "Become One with the Force". So we don't have to wait this stupid 10 seconds of our miserable existence , now you will chose the moment when you will Become One with the Force. More information - soon™.
  11. But why should they do this? Besides some tweaking merc and sorc healers, I think they should address the op energy management which is simply broken. I mean, when you can spam your main HoT like crazy and still have 90% of energy, so there is something wrong. There is no CD, no debuff like bubble one. The second thing is that this class has why to many utilities (2 stuns, stealth, roll). PvP in this game don't need more healing, coz healing was buffed, and WZ with 2-3 healers can be unbearable. Some classes need nerf (rage-mara and op healer) really badly.
  12. Comparing TRE and ToFN. Hard to say. I played on both in the past few months, pugs only. ToFN has improved since the last time I played there (almost year ago) and comparing ppl playing on it? Well I think that I is slightly better then TRE, at least ppl in the lower brackets tend to show some initiative instead of mindless zerg to the mid over and over. This was my first impression once I get back from TRE, tho it's my pov, you can see it differently. Endgame - quite even, depends on the hours. Rep's steamroller is in the derelict state so you non side is dominating now. As for the pugs, again slightly better in my opinion. What else? PvP pops are faster.. GC - on both sides almost the same as on TRE. You will eventually run on Hodor and Haddaway fans. But TRE is no different. Whole community is good as for the freemium MMO and completely comparable to the TRE. Bottom line - it's hard to say. If someone likes doing PvP and has no desire to PvE, ToFN is good call. Tho there is really little difference in the PvP (besides faster q, but let's be honest - it's not some big number). Only one thing is better, without the doubt. I like ToFN because class/planetary missions on the contested territories have a flavour. You can always run on some duel. be ganked even and this is always better then the "static" TRE.
  13. You see - this is the whole point. I hate them because I win them too much. I don't have problem with winning them on my sniper, with my sin, also my jugg likes them. They are fast, you can get bunch of comms if you're into this stuff. But you know why did I quit doing them, why I hate them? Match, regs, I playing with my sage. Setting? As always idiotic one. My team - Guardian tank, healer me, 2 dps sentinels (smashmonkeys as I will soon see) vs 4 dps - 2 snipers, jugg and sorc. Ofc before - the prayer - "sorc first". Ok, so the round starts, sorc is going down first, tho she tried. Then jugg, 2 snipers after him. End of the first round. Jugg and sorc - ragequit. Only 2 snipers left, so the whole match is 4vs2, coz no replacement. They both bunkered in the corner, waiting for the slaughter. But c'mon. Next arena. Similar setting, even the same tank, different sentinel and a gunslinger. Versus - mara and 2 sorcs dps. Yes - 3vs4. No replacement. For the whole round. Outcome - surprise! We've won. Who would guess. Near the end of this round they get tho the replacement. The jugg tank. What did he do? Well he quit second after he zone in, why dunno. So still 3vs4. Ending - copy-past. After this I said "I'm out". There is no point in playing something that is half done, that feels more like a demo version of what is soon to come. Why there is no quitting debuff? Why there is no rule that match won't start without full team? Why there is no matchmaking system? I thought that this was a reason why they disable the field re-spec. You know, this system is purely idiotic. Even if you get the same faction match you can end up with 2 tanks and 2 healers vs 4 dps. You will say - try to do ranked, they don't have this problems. Well yes, they don't or at least they try, but still - lack of the x-server qs, no class balance so everyone are running FOTM classes - what is the point of this?
  14. Oh it's fun - let's say loud and clear what's the most funny part of this wonderland called SWTOR PvP. The best part is the new part. Arenas. But from the beginning. They are great, especially this when you will end up 3vs4, this is just where you can show how "good" player you really are. Surely you can take them all, I mean if you are *really* a good player you should take them solo, by clicking, without the mouse. You can do it, every one can. But it's get better. Let's say everything is great, 4vs4 (whoa!) but you are one of 4 dps (2 are sorcs heheh) vs tank guardian 2 healers scoundrels and one sentinel dps - coz you know, matchmaking is working better then US gov during shut-down. Once again you can prevail against those terribads and carry your team to the speechless victory. Oh - you didn't, well I guess you are really, really bad and this is serious l2p issue. Well so maybe let's go into details (a little bit). Some folks here tried to educate me, but I'm really, really bad terribad sorc healer. Instead of healing that I thought I should, I am supposed to be a bait. You know, I should running like a rabbit around arenas. They said every second I'm on the run my team gets a profit, every second I try to do something stupid, aka stand still and heal (coz, I can't no stand still and heal), my team gets a loss. Class balance is great. But seriously. You are right. PvP is fun. PvP is fun when you will be constantly dodging Arenas, admit that sorcs/sages won't be fixed and you will run some FOTY class like mara, sniper and soon (but not soon™) also deception assassin (tho i must admit they are good now, but they will be great)
  15. Yeap it is. All we need to do is either way go back to pandas or (preferable) wait for the TESO and Eq Next. This is it. PvP in this game is dead, brain dead. Tho it's a shame coz whole mechanic is very pleasurable, just this doesn't work in the details. No x-server qs, no matchmaking, no class overhaul and no bigger warzones will be the downfall of the pvp if it isn't already.
