  1. I've been using her ever since I got her (and I've been soloing heroic 2's and sometimes heroic 4's with some cc). Just bubble her and myself, send her in first and go to town. Keeping her geared, you have some pretty impressive burst dps between the two of you. Normally everything is dead by the time polarity shift ends for me on the higher mobs. (or at least pretty damn close to dead on like champions. But I'm also keeping myself and Ashara as geared as possible. And I'm running Lighting spec, so its burn everything down as fast as I can )
  2. And where is your math to back up your claims? Whats the formula? How is the +30% crit damage bonus talent factored into the normal damage and surge formula when you don't have those talents?
  3. And you're factoring in the crit damage/healing bonus talents into this equation? I find that highly unlikely that you are
  4. Are you kidding me? Please tell me you are lolololol@op being un-spam friendly All you have to do to be a decent op is *********** bind injection+surgical probe=gg. Spam it all day long and never stop. Takes SOOOOO much skill. 90% of your healing will be just that rotation+mixing in a few kolto probes on the tank. maybe a slight dash of nano on a fight like soa while doing the jumps. But really it has to be the most boring and mindless healing i've ever had the displeasure of encountering in an mmo. And thats mainly because all the other heals are so lackluster, that the above spam is one of the best ways to go.
  5. Yep, nail in the coffin Lets further destroy the dps spec of op which relies heavily on crits and the crit damage bonus for meaningful damage inferior heals inferior dps worthless class is worthless. And don't give me the crap that this nerf effects every class the same, because it doesn't (Hello 30% extra crit damage talent)
  6. funny how op healing is just as out classed healing ,as it is as a melee dps.
  7. I predict we will see a new test build on the ptr. Will be on the ptr for 4-7 days Be released on live servers and have more bugs then what it fix's Dev will complain he didn't receive enough feedback
  8. Activision is just better at staying out of the picture, but make no mistake they are pulling the strings on that puppet when it comes to money. (See all the paid "features" ie server xfers, race changes, etc)
  9. yeah about the time that happens to me, I'll be quickly hitting the unsub button, because that would be the last straw lol
  10. funny how most the testing periods haven't been over two weeks long at the most (one was what, 4 days long?) This games testing blows, as proven by everything we've so far. The only things that ever get changed are based on massive forum qq.
  11. "Played for about 3 hours last night doing almost solely PvP. Overall I think that, for me personal, it is not nearly as drastic as others believe it to be." Your saying in that sentence, that you believe people are blowing it out of proportion based on your own personal experience. Maybe if you had left out the "it is not nearly as drastic as others believe it to be", I wouldn't have jumped all over your post. But I did read what you typed
  12. Good for you and it not being a big deal. For others it IS a big deal, so don't go saying its not for those people.
  13. Funny, I only had one person say they liked the change. My entire guild hates it and just about everyone I talk to in game.
  14. Please give us the option to revert back to previous versions for the cooldown effects. Or finally just give us UI mod support to make our own UI's, you know...save yourself the head ache of never making everyone happy
  15. Taking away what worked for some people is an abomination. Bioware needs to get a *********** wake up call on this issue. More options when it comes to the UI, not horrid blanket throat cramming changes to everyone.
  16. I really can't play like this, please do something (rollback, options, ability to create our own UI's, *********** anything) I'm just truly becoming disgusted with this company and how they are dealing with this game over the past few patch's. I want to love this game, and its like you're doing everything in your power to stop it from happening.
  17. They just need to get with the program, they should be expanding options. Not removing old stuff while putting in new stuff when it comes to the UI. For some people this may work for people, for others....nope...Its just mind blowing to me how terrible Bioware is at figuring this out to be honest. More options when it comes to the UI, not removing and forcing stuff down peoples throats with ZERO TESTING I MIGHT ADD!!!! Can I say that one more time ZERO PTR TESTING FOR THIS UI CHANGE
  18. My vision is fine, maybe you play at some really crappy resolution? But my numbers are far from huge. And I only say that cause most games the UI tends to increase in size at lower resolutions. (Just got to work so can't test it for ToR) I Just don't understand regardless though, how you can justify looking at a number a fraction of the size of the ability icon. To tell if an ability will be ready for use after the global is over, with the lightshow that goes on at a glance. This promotes further tunnel vision on the hotbars, which you were JUST trying to call people bad's about.
  19. Saying people are glued to looking at the hot bar and standing in fire, while saying "just look at the number to tell" is pretty damn funny to me. We go from, at release mind you, having an entire icon to tell whats up at a quick glance. To looking at a number that's like 20 times smaller then said box for the ability, all the while having a light show going......baffling..... This makes it even harder to tell what the hell is going on in a hectic encounter.
  20. Can we just fire the team in charge of the UI already? This crap is getting pretty outrageous Just allow mod's already, for the love of god.
  21. Just based on the way they have been balancing recently. I'm not very hopeful that they won't go down this road. Which is pretty sad, because at least on my sorc it feels incredible smooth and fluid. I mean its really fun to heal on my sorc, its a blast to heal on it. Where when I get on my Op and healing for operations, I just want to punch someone. Because its so clunky and resource constrained, you have zero freedom in choosing the spell thats right for the job. Not even taking into account the number differences(which need a serious re balancing, op heals are so out of line its not even funny. Having 3 nearly worthless heals is fun!!!).
  22. Its still resource management, so please don't say it isn't. The issue is the difference in the systems; lets not even discuss the healing number difference, just the resource mechanic difference. Sorc has a ton of swing room for healing where Op doesn't within its given resource. I want Op resource management to fall more in line with sorc's, not sorc falling in line with Op. (Having the resource available for burst healing like sorc. Not the current, I'm doing the same thing all the time because my super limited resource allows for nothing else) Also right now, triage doesn't exist for my Op ether in your world. Because I'm spamming 100% of the time, its just a select few spells over and over and over. And that's because our resource is so damn limited right now, but is unlimited at the same time. More resource room would allow for more varied spell use and more enjoyable healing imo.
