  1. They probably ran out of servers. All EU servers are full. If they had any extras they'd already be booting them up.
  2. Number of light servers: 0 Number of standard servers: 0 Something needs to be done. When the first servers filled up, you told us to reroll on the emptier servers. Now they are all full. What next, gotta reroll on US servers?
  3. Thx, I'll let him know he should try again. But anyone else is free to post if you know the issue is caused by something else.
  4. It gives an error: SORRY, YOU DONT MEET THE CRITERIA to create an account at this time.
  5. People mostly whine about early access or servers failing. They don't hate the game.
  6. Dec 4th. I'm in the next wave, quaranteed. Whether that wave is going to be in the next hour or 18 hours from now is still up in the air.
  7. Yeah, specific server forums right here on the official site would come in handy. It'd eliminate the need to register on possibly malicious third party websites just to interract with your server community.
  8. Excuse me for selfishingly bumping up my topic. Just figured it'd be better for people to hear the news here than in one of those "YAY WE WILL ALL GET IN FOR SURE TOMORROW!" threads. Then again, I am somewhat of an egomaniac. EDIT: Crosspost with a yellow, whoa There you go guys, official information!
  9. True. I only have the server status page, and word of mouth from friends and associates. Then again, we're here to speculate, not to confirm or deny Take everything you read with a grain of salt!
  10. I agree that they were empty for pretty much the entire last two days, but tonight after all the waves got in, the servers have gotten considerably more cramped. There are atm in EU 4 full servers and 2 very heavy, with only 1 light. There definately needs to be more EU servers even if no more people were let in. I think we can assume that they want the population to spread as evenly as possible, so the higher amount of "standard" servers we have the better. The situation in US seems a bit better atm, no full servers and only one light. Of course the peak hours for US might still be coming later on tonight, while EU's has probably just passed it's peak.
  11. Tomorrow is unlikely, but you never know
  12. Caught a terrible flu yesterday, haven't been able to do pretty much anything at all :'( So here I am, refreshing some news and forum sites, and the server page, in between movies. Anyway, I have a great new hobby in mind.. You might have heard of it. It's called TOR
  13. Hey guys, Been watching the server status page just for funsies throughout the day. Just refreshed the page and it looks like 45 new servers were just added to the list. They are all currently offline. I'm positive that these are new servers, not old ones that just happened to go offline at the same time. Some of the names are known though, from beta. Could this be a sign that they're expecting to let in a considerable amount of players tomorrow, or just combating the fact that some realms are starting to get cramped? Or it could just be an error, of course. EDIT: An official reply by David Bass (thanks bro!) on page 6.
  14. Lol even though TOR hasn't even officially launched yet, people are already starting with the TOR-killer topics
  15. Just when I thought it was dead, it was funny again
  16. Actually, it's not a misinterpretation. I get what he said. However, since we kinda have these things called brains, we might as well use them to connect one dot to another. The fact that he even mentioned one day, and the fact that people are being let in the game at the rate at which they are (which is slow), together point out to that it will indeed be one day that the late pre-orderers will receive. It's better to discuss an issue from the most logical standpoint than to try to cover all the angles when they can't be covered.
  17. It seems that many of you have missed the entire point of the thread. Just to get you guys up to speed; no, it is not unfair that the later you pre-ordered, the later you get in. There are a thousand and one threads you can discuss that in. The point was to discuss the effects of giving a negative impression to all those who pre-ordered late, and why are BioWare not letting in more people when those who are already playing are saying that the servers are empty.
  18. Hey guys, It's come to my attention in a recent tweet by Mr. Stephen Reid, that those who pre-ordered in December or maybe even November are atm. looking at getting to early access one day before the launch. Now, personally, it wouldn't make or break my world whether I'd get to play in early access at all. But what buggers me, is how they've told us that they are letting more people in than was planned, and that everyone would get atleast 5 days to play in early access, but then when the early access actually starts, they only let in a minimal amount of players (livestreams I've watched only show 5-20 people in a zone at a time!) and then throw this new tweet at our face, that those who got the pre-order in late will probably only get one day! It's pretty much a slap in the face. And that is my problem with it. It's insulting your customer base. These people who pre-ordered late paid just as much money as those who pre-ordered earlier. Yet, their welcome to the game is Stephen Reid slapping them in the face and laughing at them. Ha-ha-ha, should have pre-ordered earlier, suckers! While I partially acknowledge why you decided to do this, I question your methods. Is it really worth it to give everyone who pre-ordered late a very negative gaming experience right off the bat? First impressions are everything in MMO's. If you only get in 6 days later than others who pre-ordered, that's by a mile worse than having long queues for a couple of days. I understand your policy on server balancing and I am extremely happy you're taking it so seriously, but perhaps you need to take another look at the numbers and let more people in, earlier. Fact is that even the starting zones are empty. There is no denying that. Since there's really no reason to not let more people in, why not do it? If everyone were to get that five days for example, I bet the majority would come out extremely satisfied. Yet, if you push it further, it will create an outcry. People will get a very negative impression. That's just how it is, no matter how unjust it might sound. If anyone from BioWare ever reads this, I would like to request clarification on why are you not letting more people in even though the zones are mostly empty? If there was a good reason behind it, perhaps people would be more understanding of the situation. You've been great with informing your playerbase to this point, keep up the good work
  19. Hey guys, Knowing the internet MMO community, I really should not be surprised by the amount of backlash this early access has sprung up within the community. Yet, I still find myself overwhelmed by the amount of it. Having been one of those who started following the development of this game from the first day these forums were created, waiting a couple more days to play the game really isn't such a big deal. After 200 weeks of waiting, 1 more doesn't sound so bad. To me, it sounds silly how people are making such a big deal out of this; like threatening to cancel their pre-orders and never playing this game. Really guys, really? You only have to wait a couple of days. It's not like you're not gonna take breaks when the game does come out! Although, in hindsight, perhaps you really won't, but for the sake of the argument, let's assume you are normal. Either way, things are getting blown way out of proportion! The reason behind writing this post is, firstly, attempting to calm down atleast some of the recent forum hooligans. Perhaps this could act as a little reality check. Honestly, it doesn't really affect me or the admins in the slightest whether you decide to act irrationally or not. But it does affect you. I'm sure you'll have a better day if you just stop the nagging and go play another game while waiting for SWTOR. Now, secondly, I'm a bit curious to know whether there's anyone else who doesn't mind the wait? See you at launch everybody!
  20. Don't worry about it. I noticed you've registered in 2008 as well. That means you have waited for three years. You can wait one more week, no problem Just think back at those times you wished the game was just around the corner, well, now it is! Stay positive!
  21. I think the theory that everyone will get in by 15th can be pretty much put to rest now. Anyone who ordered in the last few months will be lucky if they can play an hour before launch.
