Weekly server maintenance EU times?
CovenantOfDeath replied to Crenshaw's topic in General Discussion
Only some data: Preorders in US: around 1 Million Preorders in EU: around 1.6 Millions Both estimated data. Warhammer Online: EU launch disaster (Same Company) ----> Bankrupt No MMO of this dimensions and cost can survive without Non USA markets. I you're unable to understand this, you've a big problem. And no MMO is going to success in EU if they provide a worst service than his competitors, it's very simple. -

To all those men who are unable to understand the simple concept of Time Zone. 1) Open your house' door 2) Go to the nearest Bookshop 3) BUY A WORLD MAP And Yes we're complaining not for different concepts about customer service. We're doing it BECAUSE WE'VE A DIFFERENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Yep they hope that all of their problems go with the wind. But who is going to go are their customers. Using a Star Wars celebrity sentence: "I've a bad feeling about this" -
reason why EU and US maint. will always be same day
CovenantOfDeath replied to zandadoum's topic in General Discussion
Damm it! You did it! You've found the key! Only a last thing! Who're playing in Europe at 2AM. We sleep too, we're not vampires. It's very simple the world has 24 Time Zones, I thought that kind of stuff is teach in primary school. If I suppose you're in US Time CST, you only have to add 7 hours and Voila! That is the hour where I live. -

I bet even a retarded (with all my respect for the people with mental handicap) will do the things better. I begin to think that the people in charge of SWTOR are in the Blizzard's payroll. -

Why are people leaving and constantly crying?
CovenantOfDeath replied to Spade_PK-XLVII's topic in General Discussion
1) If I'm complaining about the service it's precisely because I like the game. If I'd like the game I was be quiting and no posting here. I want to give BW a chance of improve a disastrous service, is the worst service in the entire MMO market. And that is a fact too. 2) We'll see who is minority when the community of this game will be ridicolous. And it what's going to happen if BW doesn't react and begin to listem his customer soon. -
I want the patches in EU nightime, not at 5 PM. That's the only I want.

Hey guy when you have problem with your TV cable company, phone company, electric company, what do you do?... You await or you contact with the customer service. This is the same, as a lot of people say we're paying for this. And this game will only very large and last in time if the people keep playing on it. And BW goes on a wrong way. -

I'm disagree. I've been playing Everquest for long years. And ever I've got a serious or non serious problem (stuck, loot....) a GM has resolve the problem. From my humble experience SOE has given to me the best service from far, followed by Blizzard from close distance. -

If you want a the same treatment, cancel your account. If you keep it on, you're only following their suit. If you awaits some civilized and logical response for these guys you can stand it sit for a long time. As one northamerican wise man said once time: I've a dream. -

TOR=Fun from lvl 1. WoW= Boring till your max lvl
CovenantOfDeath replied to carrylot's topic in General Discussion
I'm sorry but I'm disagree with that, the future of any MMO lays on keep their players, you can do atracting quest for level 1 but if there is not end game content, the game dies. -

Yes they've a lot of problems to fix. But this is simple, to contract an European Staff for the downtime, they've the servers in Europe. And excuse me but contracting that staff is going to be cheaper than the money loss they're going to have in EU if they keep these manteniance time. And you're right there is a lot of things to do, like playing another games for which I'm not going to pay monthly and give me a better service than this. -

I think that the problems it's not if they cant... the question is if THEY WANT. And it's clear that it's not in her minds at the moment, they're still considering EU users as secondary market and "calculated" casualities. I begin to think that there is not a marketing department in this company. -
The Million customer question
CovenantOfDeath replied to CovenantOfDeath's topic in General Discussion
Wait and see? Most of the game buggs are there from the early Betas, How much time more do we must wait for a fix? Guy! I'm a Star Wars fanboy. I've got any book, guide, comic and roleplaying game published related to Star Wars Universe. And I'm quiting the game. If someone like me, a true Star Wars fan is cancelling his account ti's that something is going wrong with the game. And in this case it's more about the service than with the game. -
And now the question is: How many of those players will be paying and playing SWTOR in two or three months? We've mostly the feeling of be playing (and paying) for an unfinished release product, a game that has the same buggs it had months ago. We lack the sensation of a real customer service, and when I talk about this, I talk about community managers who talk with the game community, a customer service that listen and answer to the people who are paying their wages. I'm not talking about people who only close and move the threads that they dislike. You've a lot of people asking for a LFG tool... Listen to them You've another ones claiming for EU time zone downtimes for their located servers... Listen to them You've another players complaining about the lack of decent high end content... Listen to them To summarize: YOU MUST LISTEN YOUR CUSTOMERS Because they're paying a monthly fee, and guys, they are actually paying the school of your childs, your house, your car... And they deserve respect, cause a dissatisfied client with the game, is a client quiting the game. And excuse me... but you've a lot of them, and you are still ignoring their justified pleas. I've played a lot of MMORPG, US and EU located, and this it's the worst one in service from far. After much reflection I thought that EA should must learnt from his past errors and absolute fiascos as Warhammer Online and APB. But I've the feeling of they're doing the same mistakes with SWTOR. You're still in time to correct this disastrous service, You still can read what your customers are claiming, they've the power to make this game lasts in time but are your hands which can do it possible... You only have to listen and do something... not just ignoring them

Totally agree And the worst is that we're paying for a Beta. This game at the present is far from a release product, in every aspect, the content and service. -

Thanks! I've a lot of things to do too, like work. But that's not the question. We're talking about service, we're paying the same membership (I think even we're paying more in Euros) and we're being disgregarded in our rights as customers. BW has invested a quantity of money for an European infraestructure and I'm asking myself about what did they it for? And for the fanboys and proud US born, only to say that No MMO is a success only in USA. Give me a name of some US only MMO that not be Free to Play. -

Guy! The most played MMO worlwid are the Korean ones, made by and for Koreans and asiatic market. Even the worst of them wipe on number any US MMO. And now What American MMO has been a success worldwide? Answer yourself, the solution is simple even for you. And it's curious but it happens because is mostly played outside US than inside. -

CovenantOfDeath replied to Crenshaw's topic in General Discussion
On thing is obvious: You can't hope to gain clients from other established MMO in Europe if you're providing a worse service than them. And BW and SWTOR are the worst MMO with physical infraestructure in Europe in customer service. If they keep they manteniance downtimes in US time for Europe, they are not only going to gain customers form those MMO games., they are going to made those customers going back to the games of the competence. It's hilarious that even the Free to Play MMOs have a better customer service in Europe than the lastest MMO launched in Europe (And I'm talking about this game). The newest one has the worst service of all of them, FTP included. And it's a monthly membership fee... HILARIOUS!
