  1. Based on the choices of my character from 1-50 and somewhat in the previous expansion chapters, none of the choices that could be made are choices my character would do. I feel so disconnected with my character now (jedi knight). This whole eternal alliance crap doesn't work. My character would never do the things she "has" to do this update. Nothing makes sense. It's piss poor story so bland and uniform it's worthless. I hate my character now.
  2. "Doing it right" They haven't done anything right in the past 3 years. I have absolutely no faith in the studio that they will do it at all at this point. I've waited year(s) for kira to return. Frankly if I could charge-back all the money I spent, I would.
  3. I agree with the voice/story stuff that it is what makes swtor swtor. But right now what we are being given is not enough any more and I fear it's just going downhill overall. Honestly, I don't want swtor to end, I really like the story part mechanics. But it's just not enough, and I feel every other content mechanic is being reduced to almost nothing. I mean, I quit a year ago. I resubbed this month to catch up on the story and get Kira, my companion, back. Kira hasn't returned in the story yet and it has drained all my interest in playing. I have now finished all the chapters that I missed and it took me a total of three days. 1 year story content got consumed in three days. What is there outside the story any more? Grinding dailies? That's pretty much it. PVP is unbalanced and un-fun. Space combat is apparently just as much (and It's not something I'm interested in). Ops hasn't seen new content in forever. I recently tried to look for some new gear looks. There has been very little new unique gear choices that aren't over the top shiny armour models or re-skins. This is primarily because making jedi robes is a waste of money when they could spend the time and resources making armour that fits on every character. I just don't feel like any of the last years content is class specific or story specific. My light-side jedi has started to feel pretty generic. This isn't a class based mmo any more. It's gotten generic, dull and just.. shallow.
  4. They're not getting any new product licences any more for the new movie(s). They don't want to associate any of the new Star Wars franchise with a game that's going to close in 2018. Didn't hear it from me.
  5. So your not supposed to try and solo story mode uprisings? No wonder I got so frustrated with them all day. This sucks. I managed to solo two but others were just impossible as some boss adds just two-shot my healer companion.
  6. Really ruines the story. My Guardian wears paragon armor chest, and in some cutscenes (like the chapter 9 of season 2(?) she's wearing a weird sit armor/mask/monster eyes. This happened in EVERY cutscene involving walkers too. How are bugs like this possible?
  7. So I resubbed today after 8+ months of not playing duo to the chapter releasing so slowly. You're telling me I'm not getting Kira companion back yet. After losing her for almost a year or so?I just want to story to give her back (and the ship). For story closure at the very lease. I know I can already get her back gameplay wise but that's not why I play(ed) this game.. Guess the game is dead to me now. I'm not sure If I'll be returning in the future.

I unsubbed and left this as feedback: Regarding latest release of chapter X and subsequent following chapters: Extensive use of artificial delaying of gameplay to make the chapter feel longer than it is. 40 minute chapter a month is not enough content especially when: - Chapter is 50% cut-scenes (which I do like) - Constant running back and forth to enemy npc's that spawn at opposite ends of rooms - Constantly spawning enemy npc packs after every objects with the sole purpose of forcing you to fight them and making the content seem lengthier than it is. - Constant running back and forth between objectives - The same objectives over and over again. No variation! - Player character SLOWS EVERYWHERE. Most of combat time I was slowed. It is not a good practive to take away player gameplay control in these quantities! - Tons of hostile npc spawns that conflict with the story. The biggest issue the last line brings regarding the story: Here we have Arcann that send his infinite fleet to wipe out 5 planets. Meanwhile you are spotted all the time on his own homeworld by his droids who assault you on mass. Somehow he doesn't learn this until later? If his capital/spire is so droid centric, how come it isn't immediately swarmed by millions of skytroopers thousands of knights AND the eternal fleet the moment 1 skytrooper sees you? I mean you haver arcanns full attention, surely the primary thing skytroopers would do is call your location in to him? For what little content there is, the story is supposed to be the main thing, yet it feels so disconnected because you had to include so many aspects to delay the speed at which the chapter can be done! Way too short of a chapter. I spend more time waiting for the extended downtime than the chapter actually provided.

I spend more time waiting for the extended downtime than the chapter actually provided. Also the spawn bugs. Was this not tested at all?? I mean 40mins of content and didn't bother to test it once? I'm probably going to un-sub this month and wait 6 months before I re-sub. I figure 1 month sub is enough to cover 6 new chapters and the extra content in-between. I managed to catch up 3 years of content in just two months. (I'm a returned player, been subbed for two months now)
  12. I can definitally see both points of doing it versus not doing it. Perhaps a change is in order to balance it out as well as counter future inflation: F2P players Credit cap raised to 2 million. F2P players GTN sales tax increased to 50%. Subbing both removes the cap (as it does now) and put the GTN sales tax back to normal.

  15. I meant that I want to see lightsaber hilts in the same theme as those lights. preferably with colour versions. Something that fits the bluegreen lights like my armour: http://i.imgur.com/FsKK0D1.jpg I'm using the pvp saber now due to it being one of the few that is actually coloured red.
  16. That I agree. Those champion mobs/bosses in quite a few heroic dailes and for quests are prime candidates imo. They should feel epic.
  17. more hp (and damage) on mobs is not more challenge. No one wants mobs that take 4 minutes to kill just because they have a lot of hp and/or do damage. What is challenging is mobs that require positioning, interrupts, crowd control and phases. But, do you want to spend a potential of 5-10 minutes on every mob, everyday for every daily/weekly just to be challenged? It would be cool, and fun, for the first few days. I imagine such challenging mobs will very quickly get on your nerve. They'll definitely put off more people from playing after a while.
  18. Adding to that: More lightsabers with beam/hilt effects and unique distinct sounds. I would personally really like more coloured lightsabers too, or perhaps a function to colour them trough the outfit designer. I particularly want a red lightsaber that looks good and clean with a light or two on it, much like some armour pieces have tiny lights on them. So yeah more coloured hilts!
  19. Yes! This I miss after three years. Perhaps it could be part of the storyline in chapter XI++ Force users get double/tripple jump (permanently/with a toggle (like run). Bountyhunter and the like get jetpack double jump. Other classes could get rocketboots type of double jump.* *these are just story/lore explenations. How it looks (force, jetpack, rocketboots) is purely cosmetic. But the actual jump(toggle) is double/tripple jump height. As for introducing it in future chapters as part of the story: Perhaps one of your long lost companions returns with new things to teach you for once! Imagine kira (jk) returning to save your but, you cry (irl-i will) because you miss her and she teaches you force jump. Boom. Sold!
  20. I guess I'm the weird person in your groups.. I don't say much, if anything. But I play the best I can and if I die on a boss-fight I always pass on loot I need. Because I didn't earn it. And no-one notices.

I left because: Top 5 reasons: -Bugs bugs bugs, a game where lightsabers are icon has the animations bugged on companions (kira!?) for over a year -no logic in mod/gear progression -crafting is useless, some mod levels can be RE'd, others cant. Mods from dailies instead of recipes -performance for what we get is horrible. I can run games with 10x the shader complexity and polu counts with better performance than this. 20+ players is a lag fest. That shouldn't be -Mentality to squeeze every penny from the customers. F2P turnes Pay to win. Money makes you break promises (mekab 10$ = no)
  22. Exp should reduce pve damage you do and increase the pve damage you receive. PVE players cant use their gear in pvp, well then pvp players shouldn't be able to use it in pve! Fair is fair.
  23. But it is needed. The population numbers of raiders alone isn't enough to support the game. Why would a "casual" pay if they can't progress.
  24. I disagree, this type of mmo is about gear progression. If people who don't raid aren't allowed to advance, they'll just quit two weeks after they hit 50.
  25. It's time to balance crafting! Let us "proc" higher level mods (of any kind, including augments) from lower level mods. 22 purple mod has a 20% chance to proc a 23 green one, you then level that up to a 23 purple one which has a chance to proc a 24 green one. This + RE high level ones should also allow you to get them (from pvp vendors, pve vendors, raid drops etc). This way people who do not raid can still get to the high end ones, even though it'll take a while. Allow artifice to make augments too!
