  1. The thing is, alot of our other regular used spells are instant (heatseeker, railshot, electro dart, ...) So people that don't know how a Merc works only see Tracer and Unload being used, like the OP says. That pause that you mention....it's probably an instant spell. We use alot of different spells in different situations and i'm pretty sure other classes don't use more then we do. Not to mention the buffs/debuffs we have to keep an eye out for, which kind off make up the rotation. (How many tracer locks, heat signatures, barrage procs, ....?) But like stated in other posts, if you leave us alone and let us spam you it's your own fault you're getting burned down. I'm not letting a scoundrel nuke me from behind without trying to get away either. And about Bounty Hunters spamming Tracers only, yes they are out there, just like there are Inquisitors spamming just lighting on others, or any other class with some core rotation spell that does decent damage. Instead of crying about it actually try to look beyond what you see in BG's. If we had a combat log available we wouldn't be having this discussion. (Assuming you played against some decent Mercs ofc)
  2. A countdown would be great, or just roll it back to the way it was before. This new cooldown display is even worse on blue icon spells. Can't see if it's on cd or not...
  3. I finished a hardmode Black Talon flashpoint at 22.00 PM. The daily quests reset at 00.00AM for me local time. So i figured i could enter Black Talon hardmode again at 03.00 AM but it didn't give me the quest to enter. I couldn't walk through the portal either so apparently i'm locked out. But for how long? (The Daily Hardmode quest also didn't reset at 00.00AM while all the other daily quests did.) The lockout doesnt show on the lockout panel either... Does anyone have some more info on this? Would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Surge doesn't effect haste, it increases the crit damage done. Don't know why he mentioned haste, since that comes from the alacrity stat.
  5. There is not much of an option in the tier gear though. It all has +power. I know +crit and +surge is superior to power. The question is really: do we have to remod our own tier gear for it to be optimal? It seems to weird to do so...like Bioware didn't invest much time in designing the stats on the gear.
  6. The stat importance has been debated over and over on Theorycrafting forums alike. Power is a decent stat to have but it's inferior to Crit and Surge. Playing as an Arsenal Merc the tier stats raise some questions... So my question is, why do all the Eliminator sets, pve and pvp have so much power on it and nearly no crit or surge? Are we supposed to farm the group +2, +4 dailies and remod the gear so we can switch out some Power for Crit + Surge? (I haven't found any mods higher lvl then the daily ones so far...) Somehow it feels weird to put mods into a tier set, especially when the mod is lower in lvl then the ones currently in the gear...(Talking about Champion pvp set and the Columi set, Rating 136) How have you guys been altering your gear to optimize dps, if you have altered it at all. Any tips or insights are greatly appreciated.
  7. I killed him by staying out of range so the debuff runs off. I used a tanking companion to take the blows in the beginning so i could nuke him down while not getting the debuff. As soon as he applied the buff i kept running around so he wouldn't apply more stacks, once they fall off engage him again.
  8. At first i thought the GCD was the cause aswell, but it happens when i start a fight aswell, the first pull, when GCD isn't involved in any way :s
  9. There are moments, alot of them, ingame when spells are not working properly. Take for instance my unload spell. It is a 3sec channeled spell. It starts the animation but doesn't do any damage to the boss and the spell doesnt go on cooldown after use. (the cast bar does count down) When this "bug" happens it seems to trigger other spells to bug out aswell, leaving me with 4-6seconds of not being able to use a single spell! * Please note that this bug starts on any random spell, not the unload one specificly. Now this isn't much of a problem when fighting normal or even strong mobs. But trying to handle 2 elites at the same time and all of a sudden not being able to cast a spell is extremely annoying. This bug is happening more often aswell. It has been in the game since launch and still hasn't been adressed...
  10. My most used companion is Mako, a healer. I disable her channeling stun spell so that she can actually heal me while i'm fighting instead of stunning one mob while the other 4 get to jump me. Now the problem is that every time i mount up and dismount the spell is active again. Every time i get a loading screen it happens aswell. I tried disabeling the spell from her spellbook directly but that doesn't work either.. It's really annoying to have to open up her bar after dismounting to disable the spell(s) manually before getting into a fight. Repeating this action 50x or so per evening i play is abit to much.
  11. Why can't i find back my own posts through the member page? I click my own name on the top and it says find all posts that i replied in or all posts that i started. It seems i don't have the "right" to do this? I can't see why though :s
  12. I can't disable the spells directly in the spellbook. If i disable the spell on the spellbar it does show unchecked in the book. But mounting and dismounting causes it to become active again Must resist slapping Mako...
  13. My healing companion Mako has certain abilities i like to have disabled most of the time. Let's take channeling stun spell for example. I click the spell in her spellbar so that the green square in the corner is gone. She doesn't use the spell anymore until certain actions happen like: *Mounting up and dismounting *Using an elevator *Having a loading screen *Etc... The spell enables itselve again after any of these actions. (prob more exist) Now this is extremely annoying to always open up her spellbar and disable the spells i don't want her to use. Especially when being dismounted by a pack of mobs and the first thing my companion does is channel a stun on one mob while i'm getting my bum handed to me by the 5 other mobs (while not recieving healing). Is this a bug in the game or something i'm missing here in the options? Any help is greatly appreciated.

  15. Hi, I'm almost level 25, and been wondering is there any other way to reach the Imperial Fleet when my emergency pass is in cooldown? tried to look in galaxy map form my ship, but didnt see Imperial Fleet there. If anyone could help me out Thx in advance
