I agree that the former inventory UI was much more appealing visually. However, it is never coming back. The current dev team has convinced themselves that this one is somehow "better". That, or they have no idea how to bring back the old one. Anyway, at least it's not a literal eyesore anymore. I guess that is the best we can hope for,

Currently, FFXIV has disabled creating new free trial accounts, because they already have more players than their servers can handle. I guess that's what happens when a game company releases a good expansion, instead of a broken turd.

Personally, I've never had a problem with Hoth. The planet doesn't cause my eyes any strain, rather I find the place rather pretty. The new inventory UI does cause me eye strain, however. Quickly, my eyes start to feel sore. Then, if I need to keep the window open for a time (such as organizing the mess the new window made), I start getting a headache. No, I don't know why Hoth doesn't bother my eyes but the inventory UI does, I only know my eyes hurt. And hurting eyes makes me not want to play, which makes me not want to maintain a subscription or buy Cartel Coins, which means less revenue for EA.

Galactic Season 1 is long over. I claimed every piece of the Mythran armor set, and the Mythran Hunter armor set as well. However, in Collections it still shows that I have collected Nothing. 0/6 for the Mythran set, and 0/7 for the Mythran Hunter set. Why?

I somehow hadn't noticed the new Galactic Seasons section. Thanks! That's pretty convenient, I had originally found the Mythran set under the Armor section. However, it is still showing 0/6 items collected. I've claimed them, they're all in the inventory of one character, and I've even tried having that character wear them. Is there something else I need to do to collect them?

This week, Kai Zykken has no crafting schematics in stock. None. Even when he does have 1 or 2 schematics for sale, they're most likely to be something I've already bought from him before. After all this time, one would think I'd have complete sets of the schematics, but nope. There really needs to be a better way.
