  1. I can understand the arguments that say it was lazy to have the fleets design similarly, but if a design works, and someone happens to make that design, then *** is the point in changing it? Confusing? Possibly. Who knows, maybe the imp's stole that one from the pub's and now they are using the current pub fleet because it was the only extra one they had laying around? ****, now I feel like an RPer.
  2. Orange Armors, this is a multi part question. There are plenty of orange chest pieces in the game, but can synthweavers learn all of them? If they can then that is all that I need to know. Basically I just want a simple yes or no answer to whether or not synthweavers can learn all of the orange armor schematics for everyone but trooper? I have one particular armor that I enjoy and would rather use that instead of some crit crafted piece of ****. Also, if synthweavers are not able to learn all of the orange armors as schematics, then is there a way to 'crit' an augment slot into them? Either question would be fine to answer
  3. I'm not going to say I like the Republic fleet, but I don't really hate it. I'll give a rundown of how I feel about each one: R) Republic fleet shows how old the Republic is, at least in my opinion. What is the point in making a new space station when they have a perfectly functioning old one? Yeah it looks old as ****, and could be cleaned up quite a bit, but why waste the money? It's been around for a very long time (20,000 years iirc), so why fix what isn't mostly broken? I) Imperial fleet shows how new all of their **** is, once again in my opinion. They just recently became a large enough force to overthrow the Republic, but they haven't had any of the resources that the Republic has had. So in that sense, of course their space station is going to look new and spiffy. All of their stuff is going to, hell I'm sure only half of their ships have even seen combat, while 99% if not 100% of the Republic ones have been to hell and back. TL;DR - The Republic is old, all of their **** is old, so it is going to look old. Empire is new, all of their **** is pretty much brand new, so it is going to look new.
  4. I'm aware of the desire for the augment slot, but it does nothing for the fact that I wont be wearing the armor that I like. I would rather not have the augment slot than wear something that looks like ****, hence why I do not wear the PvP chest and hide the helm.
  5. Even if Force Camo causes them to drop target of you, it doesn't mean ranged abilities wont still hit you. Having experienced that enough, picking up Force Fade came as a no brainer. That Tracer Missile is going to hit you regardless of whether he can no longer see you. Once it's off, it WILL hit you. Not to mention that if you also happen to be the poor subject of an AoE *****torm, as I commonly am, it also prevents you from coming out of stealth before the 4 seconds. I have found it far more useful in PvP than Focused Pursuit ever would be. And in regards to Focused Pursuit, even in PvP it is a waste. The only times I use it is during a hutball match, which is rare enough for pub side, or when I have 30 centering built and i feel like getting somewhere in a warzone a little bit faster. It is just a filler, doesn't really do well for PvE or PvP.
  6. Force fade is a must personally, Focused Pursuit is a waste. I have seen some people running more than 31 in combat, contemplated it myself, but I find myself more satisfied with a 31/10/0 build. I have been toying around with the idea of ditching Burning Focus for Valor though. Being a 99% PvP player, I don't really notice the help from Burning Focus. Probably works way better than I think it does.
  7. I was under the impression, at least for artifice, that if you were to RE a mod or enhancement that you could learn that schematic. Not the upgraded version, just that specific one. If it isn't possible to learn this particular schematic, then so much for me giving a **** about crit crafted orange gear.
  8. Found out that you can RE the chest, so you might be able to learn the schematic after all. I didn't get a high level of synthweaving, but from what I can gather is that if you can RE an item, then you can learn to make it.
  9. No, they are top tier PvE and PvP lightsabers. You can only get them that way.
  10. I gave it some more thought after I typed that, and if there is a crafted version, then I must find it. I would love to keep this chest and have an augment slot on it.
  11. Wait, so let me get this straight. There is a sent out there that DOESN'T love FC? I am now ashamed.
  12. The damage may be **** on Leg Slash, and the focus cost is an issue to some, but I primarily use it as a form of getting out a slow and another stack of OS on the target before I cauterize for the final stack then pop zen. Since I started doing this, damage and kills has gone up quite a bit. It all comes down to personal play style tho, this is my preferred method, others are different. I noticed a change for the better since I started doing this, others wont. It's w/e, but I would rather use the skill we already have for the slow than to spec into a slow and waste points that I see as a priority in other places. Also it does help in getting juyo stacks on the target. So while I do have to strike afterwards to get out a merciless slash, I'll at least know that I have 5 stacks on the target when doing so.
