  2. Wow I am glad to see you take the bugs you introduced to the raids recently so seriously, I for one am amazed at the speedy response we are receiving . Its almost like you care about the players and made me feel all warm and fuzzy. I don't see why we are all complaining its just their way of giving us fun new content since they cannot produce any I do not understand why you all do not see this, so don't look at the introduction of new bugs into old ops as a bad thing look at as a way of keeping old boring ops interesting. I mean come on guessing if you have aimed that telegraph correctly just makes things more interesting, its not annoying in any way at all. (I like watching tanks fly off the map I am evil like that) More seriously the response given is BS and makes me wonder if we will see a new op this year, the QA in patches of late has sucked and now you are not even trying to fix your new and wonderful bugs in a timely manner, and you expect us to pay for this ...... all I can say is you wont have many subs left if continue like this. Musco I think you need to learn to program so you can help out the single dev who seems to be still working on this game
  3. What they are going to do next is allow your companions to complete ops for you completely removing the need to play at all. You see their metrics have told them that peeps are not leaving in droves for other games because their is no game to play but because your companions cannot complete ops for you as actually playing is too much like hard work.

For HM ops Lord Turins nums will be about correct But Steefr is correct for Nim ops 5k dps will not cut it you need your dps to be running a min of 5.5k dps but pref as close to or over 6k dps depending on the boss Dread guards in tfb is good example of requirements as although you need 5.5k dps overall from your dps for phase 1 you want them all over 6k dps to make the first phase as short as possible. Also 4 - 4.5 k ehps will not cut it, even on Dashroode which is a doddle to heal you will need to run 6 - 6.5 k ehps however for something like the dread guards on phase 1 I am normally running 9 - 10 k ehps and my co healer 8 - 9k ehps although after phase 1 the healing is much easier so overall is probably something like 7.5 - 8k ehps by the end of the fight.

Its not even that just the levelling is too easy, they have made the operations too easy as well. e.g. In TOS HM Underlurker is a joke now as are the commanders and in Ravagers Bulo sees to be so pissed on all the barells of beer lying around that he couldn't punch his way out of wet paper bag now, and poor torque he has the same HP as he in 3.0 so you know it bloody easy too and don't get me started to what they have done to SM operations. You now have the silly situation where a HM flashpoint is harder than a SM operation and in some cases the flashpoints are harder than the HM operations bosses. I mean surely tacticals and HM flashpoint should be the introduction to grouped content with SM ops being your next tier of grouped content then moving on through HM and Nim but at the moment this not really the case. I mean you can easily 4 man EV HM with 3 dps and a healer no need for tanks at all which is just stupid. And I have to agree with the original poster the story content is stupidly as easy well no need for a companion elites die before you finish your opening rotation, champions by the end of your 2nd rotation. They really need to at least make the supposedly epic bosses a bit of a challenge, and given the difficulty levels of the ops now they really should do Nim versions of the new ops so there is something for everyone

I think they do have something new and exciting to announce (although how exciting depends on the player) They are now going to give up the pretence that this is an mmo and announce you can now let your companions play SWOTR for you, I know I know we already know this is largely the case, but in an added twist you can take 7 off them to ops instaed of actual players where they will just clear said ops for you whats not to like In all seriousness pls let us know new ops are actually coming this centuary, that new group content is coming and stop pretending story is actua new content something that takes 30 mins to clear is fluff who cares and its not something you can be arsed repeating

As many people have pointed out it really should be the priority HM that has a chance to drop NIM gear and NIM should actually drop 224 gear because actually being hard it should have some type of reward as many of the people doing it will already have the titles and mounts. There seems to be no logic to your decision it just plain stupid

  9. Well companions are still fine for planetary H2 stuff as far as I can tell I did them with my influence 10 talos and wasn't an issue. Wither Star Fortress is an issue depends on what you are aiming for I did it on marauder in 216 token gear with my lvl 20 what's his face you pick up at the start of the expansion, I found it fine until first room where you get the 2 knights as obviously cant cc them, I used my intimidating roaron one while I killed the 2 adds and choke on the other when I went to do his adds but this was difficult I used all my cooldowns to stay alive, I found it fun but it really depends on what you are aiming for as I can generally keep up with whats on parsley for bosses in the ops. I thought the adds on the way through to the final boss the ones with the 2 sunguards especially the last set were a reasonable challenge as well. Final boss was still easy. The problem here is some of this will be much easier on other classes where you can either long term CC or have absolutely insane burst like an AP PT but it also depends on who you want these to be a challenge for. I think you prob want to fix companions standing in stupid stuff and / or boost the heals by 20% oh and make it so the don't randomly stop healing and just dps for no reason. TLDR I found this more fun than some of the HM ops as its harder now so prob nerfed the companions too much and prob didn't buff a lot of the stuff in the HM ops enough

The whole point of the post was to see if other peeps thought the HM raids were severely undercooked as well and that's seems to be the case so far As lodnin has pointed out the complete annihilation of any challenge in sm to the point where just like the story you pretty much need to just turn up to get gear does not help although at least in sm ops you need to actually use some abilities and not just let your companion just do it for you. Lodnin the yays were just because undergeared tanks meant I actually had to pay attention and not just dps 75% of the time instead of healing but I agree once gearied will be lol easy as well. What scares me is if I find it this easy and I am just a casual raider, I really feel sorry for the really good players as they must be bored to death already Also I do feel let down by the fact they said all the old ops would become a challenge again but how can that be when even casuals like me are running EV HM as 16 man with 8 so we get more 224 gear I mean that's not much of a challenge if we can do that right? (and tbh I never expected ev or kp to provide much of challenge its the rest that make me sad)
  11. I don't really care about loot only raid to have fun but if everyone on the server isn't full 224 by Friday I will be shocked as EV is shockingly easy
  12. So what does everyone think have they got it right? Or are you like me and think for the most part *** this is meant to be hard mode? First of all I am not some super serious raider so I would think that HM ops should provide some challenge for the likes of me but for the most part the newly levelled ops seem super easy so far EV and KP are just a bit of joke. What they have scaled them to seems more like it should be a story mode. I mean they were never that hard at launch, apart form the bugs on SOA, but what they have given us is just wow I mean e.g. foreman crushers frenzy is a complete joke. EC this seemed about right tbh TFB poor tfb this is just a complete faceroll as well S&V complete faceroll until Styrak DF didn't think it was too far off maybe a little easier than it should be but not bad DP love raptus he hits hard actually have to heal yay for Raptus Ravagers oh my god poor bulo is he too drunk to hit now? I mean had tanks pointing him all over the place and was lol easy to heal, did they forget to buff torque at all . Yay for M&B that hits the tanks hard I mean they stated their aim was to always keep all ops relevant but is doesn't seem like they have achieved this. So do you guys agree should they buff some of the HM content to keep it relevant and fun to do for the future? As at the moment its getting old fast because of how easy it is. Oh and I know we can run the Nims for now but since they said there will be no new nims ever I think its important they pitch the difficulty of the HM ops properly. And as I stated I was never a hard core raider so I am not someone who used to clear nims within a week of release if ever Ducka and takes cover
  13. The combat is stupidly easy and soe SM ops seem to have been made even easier which I didn't realise was possible but apparently it was, I really hope the HMs aren't face roll but I am not holding out too much hope
  14. After entering a GF ops I was not able to continue chapter 7 it would not let me into the lady of sorrows stronghold so I thought I would reset the chapter now I cannot start it I just keep getting returned to fleet
  15. The platforms that started to be invisible after your graphics update are still invisible you might want to fix that

Now if they had given us the ability to use master strike / ravage while moving that would have been really useful but this change is like they went to the pub on Friday lunchtime to try and come up with something having had a few In this case you can have too many

So when you said there would be announcement about operations in a few weeks I thought great they are going to announce that were will be some new operations around the turn of the year instead we get told what we already knew that all the old ops will become lvl 65, not sure what made you think this would go down well. I think bringing the old ops up to 65 makes sense especially with the movie coming out as you are obviously hoping people will come try the game and unlike at launch there will actually be some end game content for them to play so for new players I think this is a good move, and should hopefully get some new subscribers. However for those of us that have played from launch this will keep uninterested for what a couple of nights at each operation then we will be bored, we have already progressed through these ops so unless you have added some mechanics its going to provide absolutely no interest to us beyond a couple of runs through the content. You promised us a while ago we would never go another year without a new operation well looks like your promises aren't worth jack. (Lvling old ops to 65 does not count an intern could probably have done that in couple of weeks at most) So I kind of think I get what you are doing but you are about to make the raiding community implode, there are a number of people in my guild who will not be renewing their subscription and from my friends in other guilds I hear its a very similar story in their guilds. The problem with this is that is raiders that run a lot of these guild and if they disappear there will be very little community left, and from my experience in my guild its the raiders that are your subscribers so no one will be seeing your new story content as they will all have buggered off. Our casual players in the main do not subscribe (it may be different in other guilds but that's my experience). So yeah great bring up the old ops to 65, but for the love of ***** announce when you are aiming to actually introduce some new ops before there are no raiders left. Oh and give the pvp guys some new maps how hard can it be? But really looking forward to seeing pugs on some of these ops at 65 it will be *********** hilarious.
