Honestly? I think you might be right about the players not learning the class/role the would need to perform in a group doing just about anything else other then a role neutral content. I disagree about the XP gain, leveled one toon strictly by doing FPs during the time before KDY came out, and another after, it's faster to level in KDY. But if you're trying to learn your class as you go, doing that in KDY is more complex. All in all better lockout anyone without a 55 character out of KDY and make KDY an Alt leveling tool

Had the most fun during a KDY run with a group that did this on purpose,twice , we agreed to do it in the spur of the moment both times, crazy good group. And it was a PUG group.

Mando raiders HM, the 4 classes fight is in my opinion a tank awareness check. But I'm biassed, tanked the damn smuggler and trooper enough times on my healers to be sick of it.

You ok mate? Huttball is a Warzone not a Flashpoint... Mind explaining what you mean in the last sentence? You figure out what a healer does after doing KDY and then running a normal FP? Or you figured it out during a KDY run? I'm confused...

Not sure what you mean... But yeah all the time; if position myself correctly, and avoid the circles correctly as well, he launches me into the injector. Use it when you/the group taken some damage, and reposition so that the next push sends you into the other injector. Rinse, repeat. Took me some practice, but it's doable on an Concealment Op, MM Sniper, Mara, Sorc, Merc. Haven't gotten around to doing it on a PT, Sin or a Jugger.

3 KDY runs? Total? I've ran it so many tumes by now that I know single enemy placement, on every damn scenario... I need to stop making alts

Sounds like there's a story there... Only problem I had in KDY, in this regard at least, is steering thr group towards the Chmpion before they rush and complete the main objective.

I had zero problems tanking on my little concealment Oper, this being KDY and all, Also as an Op you have heals, granted it does very little if you're getting hit by 2 or more groups of mobs, but in that case you can just use your combat stealth and pop back in a second later, if anyone has a problem with that they can tank it. Operatives aren't tanks, so if you can do it; gratz ! can't or won't: no harm done, let the Mara go in first, they seem to enjoy dieing

Don't have a guide offhand, but I do have some suggestions; Flashpoints are great for some major XP, KDY in particular, down side is that you can run into some nasty individuals. World Bosses are also a good idea, similar problem as FP's, with the added difficultly of well... World boss, and the relativity small amount of WBs available. If you have some XP boosters laying around, use them! If not you can find some on GTN I'd wager, but the price can be an issue That's about it, at least the ones I can think of at the top of my head.

Pretty sure the ignore/friend list is not account/legacy wide, any idea how to make it crossover between characters or it's just do it by hand?

Yeah that's actually my experience as a Sniper against this guy The fight I'm always hoping for on my Sniper is the droid , drop down under the droids feet and start shooting A little side note, as a sniper you can hold aggro on this *bleep* Jedi pretty easily, the insta-snipe works wonders combine that with power shot(?), forgot the name, the semi-insta hard hitting one,works out of cover as well. And you're golden Also are all of you position this guy so that he knock you back in to kolto iinjectors? Just wondering

Went from level 17 to 31 on my sniper in about 4 1/2 hours of back to back KDY runs, happy to report 2 bad runs out of close to 25. But thank god I have a guildie who's leveling a sorc healer . Ok story time: KDY. The aforementioned sniper, 1 Merc Dps, 1 Mara and 1 Oper healer. Alas the Sorc guldie was not available at the time. Mostly nice and smooth, except for the part that the Oper wouldn't throw put a heal or two when the Merc got under 30% HP. I know, I know, "**** You N00b! KDY doesn't need a healer!" well guess what, sometimes it helps, and if you flag a role be ready to do it if needed. Merc comment on the fact: "[HealerName] you know you could have thrown a heal or two" Don't remeber all of the responses from the Oper( I'm developing a KDY memory loss I think:p ), think l33t god, you get the picture "Vote kick initiated against [MercName] by [HealerName]" All my What?! Skiping ahead ahead: Just before the Jedi boss. "Vote kick failed due to insufficient votes" Oper pulls boss, with these words: "you're lucky you even got healz" TL;DR : L33t god Oper healer, gets pissy with people asking for healz.

You're intrested in only world bosses? 0.o Nothing else? Generally you can check the the guild recruitment sub forums for pve, pvp, social, and all sorts of other guilds out there. Edited out the shameless self promotion

Don't have that problem on a PvP server, if I get any reply at all it's generally positive. Had one guy tell me no to do that again, blue circles from the KDY jedi hurt... a LOT 2 of them back to back.... well..he didn't last long;).

No talking during KDY seems to be the norm... Unfortunately. As for trying to explain what little tactics there are in the "tactical" FP , well I'll give the short version if I see someone jump the gun so to speak... It'll come down to: "you see red dots on you, follow me" or "don't stand in circles","kill the adds". What amazes me is that people ignore even that... But running a Sorc was very fun: *idiot stays in blue circle dpsing the boss for the third time* *pull idiot towards me * Doesn't work well with Mara's...

Interface editor I think you mean, last I checked inventory didn't have an editor. Too bad that it doesn't IMO.

Have to call it out, as no one else did. Might be too late though.... 300k isn't that big an amount and buying things with real money to get some in game money, that you'll burn through really quick the higher level you get, is just well.... A waste of money:o In all honesty: get some gear that you like from the cartel market, sell the stuff you don't want or like. But don't sweat too much about credits this early on, if you really do want a stable way to make credits grab slicing as a crew skill, treasure hunting works well enough too. Bottom line though disregard this message if you disagree, I'm just some random guy on the intrewebz telling you what to do the F*** do I know?
