  1. something smells fishy about that pic, its too good for a balanced match...

    1)you had pocket healer

    2)it was your premade

3)the other team was full of new lvl 50s....

something fomr those must have happened else its impossible to do that

    There's no way

    No WAY

that another player could be better than you, right?

  2. My head is starting to hurt....the fact you couldn't figure out that many free to play games, (yes a majority of MMO's have gone free to play) are complete grind. Warhammer, DC Online etc all of these are MMO's and they ALL ARE GRINDS. What do you not get about that. They have NO SUB FEE.

You claim is invalid. Guild Wars 2 is just the first MMO to try this. The reason they do not charge sub's well it's all explained in the article. It's mind boggling how you didn't know that besides this game and wow. Most games are free to play and a grind, and only one so far is not a grind and free to play.

    Now go read the article.

Lol, as an actual gamer I can't say i've ever considered F2P MMO's as serious things. I might when they release one that isn't absolutely mediocre. If you want to play that heap of dog dung called lord of the rings online, go right ahead. It's pretty interesting that you chose games like that as a model.

I think its fine that you want GW2 to be just like DCUO and LotRO.

GW2 is not the first game to use that model. GW1 used that model... and produced something that was barely an MMO.

If you want to talk about MMO's, please use serious ones for precedence. DAoC, EQ, SWG pre-CE, WoW, Rift, in their heydays. Not garbage like DCUO

  3. Why couldn't SWTOR re-create this and why does a game with no sub fee is the first one to do it?

An MMO with no sub fee is the ONLY kind that will not have time sinks. They don't need to get you to keep playing in order for them to make money.

The fact that you could not reason that out yourself is mind boggling...

  4. No, I like world pvp... in fact I LOVE world pvp.

What SWTOR attempts to do, isn't world pvp.

    Yes it is.

What part of big groups of players, with no population caps, in one area, killing each other, isn't world PvP?

The real issue is that incentivized world PvP simply doesn't work anymore because of population issues

  5. If you remember Wintergrasp at first didn't have the 1 to 1 ration and it wasn't all that fun when the other side dominated the zone all the time.

So unlike Bioware, Blizzard actually learned from that mistake and corrected it making it much more fair and fun.

Okay, so you don't like world PvP. Just say that you don't like world PvP, don't dance around the subject. Ask for a tol-barad style warzone, instead of real world PvP.

  6. Oh I enjoyed Wintergrasp and Tol Barad, because it was balanced.

Those weren't world PvP. They were instanced and had population caps. They were effectively battlegrounds.

  7. It's actually not that bad once you realize that world PvP requires forming a group and getting #'s.

Until you figure that out, I recommend you stick to warzones

  8. You guys talk always about "my" class or from individual classes,....its about group pvp and the map design.

It's a class based MMO, the abilities of a given class are always a factor in how well they work in a group situation

Not all melee or ranged classes have the same mechanics in terms of gap closers

  9. I actually judge a game by the number of haters (something I learned from WoW.) The more people hate it, the more sucessful it must be. I hardly ever hear people hating on LOTR or DnD. Why? Nobody plays them..

    QFT sir, QFT.
