  1. I came to the forums just now to see if other people noticed they were taking a ton more damage than they used to. I'm glad it wasn't just me. I went to try out PvP for the first time in a while to see if I would enjoy it more after taking a break from it, and noticed I was dying really quickly. Even with Reactive Shield on I was dying extremely fast. I started to get pretty frustrated and opted to go do Black Hole dailies instead. I hope it was a mistake in the last patch and that I'm not as horrible as I'm starting to believe I am.
  2. 1.2 has renewed my interest in the game, I am enjoying it quite a bit. I'm sure that 1.3 will do the same and I look forward to it whenever it arrives.
  3. I love juggs in my face. This is why I could never complain about them. Ever.
  4. Yes. Often run into frustration from the PvP, but overall I enjoy the game and am excited to see what it evolves into.
  5. As things are I have over 200 centurion commendations and I am 7/14 champion gear with the rest being centurion, so I have no need for them. Is it possible to add in a conversion method similar to the warzone commendation to mercenary commendation? 30 centurion for 10 champion? Hell i'd even use them to buy warzone adrenal and pots if I could.
  6. Anchorhead. I was able to get 34 kills towards my weekly and daily this morning, after the patch. Just tried to show my friend around Ilum for the first time, we managed to kill 4 Sith even though they out numbered us at Central, no credit for any.
  7. I have been enjoying the game so far. There is a lot they need to improve on, especially in regards to PvP, but my time here has certainly been enjoyable. Every MMO has points they excel in and others they struggle with, it is a constant balancing act that will never end. Since I like this game as much as I do right now, with the problems, I am excited to see how much fun it is once they have had more time to work things out. As long as they keep rolling out improvements each week I am perfectly happy to keep playing.
  8. Huttball Most people tend to dislike Huttball, whatever their reason may be. I can understand how and why they feel that way. It can be a very frusterating game when nobody knows how to play. I am still in the process of learning the game but I have been coming to enjoy it more and more. However I believe that Huttball should not be classified as a Warzone or grouped with PvP. While it is a form of PvP I feel that it focusses more on the team play and teamwork rather than the PvP and killing. That is why I believe Huttball should become something separate, a league sport. I don't have vast experience with other MMOs but I feel like this could be something to set SWTOR apart from the others. Take Huttball in its current form and make it something completely apart from the other Warzones. The Huttball League. The Huttball League would have four types of play: Pickup Games, Amateur League, Pro League and Practice Play(Pro Teams Only). Pickup Games: Pickup games would pretty much be Huttball as we know it now. It would just be solo queues and a few people queuing together, they would be free to play with the same or similar rewards to what it has now. These games would be unranked. Amateur League: The Amateur League would be the proving grounds for people who were trying to make it into the Pro League. People would form teams and compete against other amateur teams. There would be costs involved with forming and maintaining teams but these expenses would not be as much as for a pro team. There would be rankings for the Amateur League to help determine skill levels and see who is ready to go pro, but the Pro rankings would be the only ones of real import. Pro League: The Pro League would be the main attraction with people being able to be spectators, sponsors or whatever, there are tons of options to be fleshed out. Pro teams would be expensive to maintain, possibly sponsored by certain guilds, other rich players, or the teams grinding out credits to fund themselves. There would be seasons where pro teams compete, those with the best rankings going on to play in a playoffs and the two best would face off in the Hutt Bowl. Practice Play: This would be for Pro Teams to practice when they felt like it. They would have to pay a certain fee to practice, to rent out the field. They could practice amongst their team, or even practice with another pro team, whatever they wanted to do during their alotted practice time. If it was two teams practicing together, the rental fee would be split. I think in order to make this type of thing work, the servers would need to be split into groups or divisions. Make it similar to the WoW battlegroups where multiple servers queue together, making a larger pool of players. Split the servers into East/West and maybe RP/PVP or something else to form the divisions. Multiple server divisions would be necessary to ensure that there are enough players and teams at any given time. The top ranked team from each division could go on to play in the playoffs. Random thoughts/ideas: - A player from the winning team of the Hutt Bowl could be voted MVP and receive something special. Maybe a specialized MVP speeder. - Huttball specific gear and sets. - Huttball specific uses with certain restrictions. IE: A speed boost that can only be used when your team does not have the ball. Or can only be used when your team is in possession of the ball. Can only be used once per game..etc - Pro Teams could purchase or rent gear for their team to use. The gear would bind to the team not a single player, it would stay in the team's locker room. To be distributed as the team decides based on players roles and positions. - There would be different tiers of Huttball gear, with different costs to purchase or rent going up with quality. - Teams could not play below their skill level. Pro teams could not play in amateur, amateur could not play in pickup. Individual players could queue solo into Pick Up games. - Spectator mode for Pro League could cost viewers a certain amount of credits to watch, prices increase for playoffs and Hutt Bowl - a guild league, where each guild could put forth their own teams of their best players and then compete with other guilds - an in game gambling system where players can bet their credits on their favorite huttball teams - Huttball team uniforms - a symbol animation under your feet with the team logo The last four ideas come from responses to the idea on reddit, thanks to everyone there. 9. Absolutely. I don't see how it could possibly work with single server populations. Hopefully they could figure out a way to break the servers up into divisions, not only for this but for all warzones.
  10. I should have clarified my view originally. A lot of people tend to hate it at first before they get a taste of how it is meant to be played. I know for me my first few games I didn't even keybind the throw, I just ran out and attacked people, so did most of my team and the other team. Once I got into games where the other players had an idea of what they were doing I realized how much fun the game can really be.
  11. I did just adjust my graphics settings, it appears other people are having issues with it due to their Bloom being turned off. edit: turning bloom back on seems to have fixed it.
  12. This just started happening to me recently, used to work fine in the past.
  13. edit: whoops, wrote this in notepad at the girlfriends house, emailed it to myself, then copy and pasted it from gmail viewer. Resulted in some formatting issues.
