  1. I find it works better in PvE than PvP. Example: Foreman Crusher in Karagga's Palace when he goes berserk on the tank. Pacify helps this phase of the fight tremendously and your healers love you for it.
  2. I'm in the same boat. Incredibly annoying in PvP when damage output can make the difference between victory and defeat. Patch 1.1 made my Sentinel be all like, "I'm gonna get yaaaaa ahhh just kiddin, bro lololololol." Hopefully BW is aware.
  3. Rollback badly needed for the sake of saving PvP in SWTOR. I'm a Republic player and haven't participated in PvP in 24 hours. Will continue this boycott unless there's a rollback. 5 stars
  4. "Hello all, We are going to be temporarily closing the thread due to the rude comments, and insults in the thread. We will work quickly and get it back open. A couple of things to keep in mind while the thread is closed: We ask that feedback is constructive. Insulting others, no matter what their views are is not allowed - this includes developers. Rude commetns toward others are not allowed. Make sure your post is on topic and constributes to the discussion of the thread - spam is not allwoed. We do not tolerate personal attacks or threats against ANYONE. This closure will be brief as we clean and the thread will be re-opened soon." HA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! Now you're trying to silence the masses about a clear and obvious mistake you people made? Oh that's rich. However temporary, it's still completely unacceptable. Any Business 101 class teaches you that is a NO NO. Keep closing the gap towards burying SWTOR PvP, guys. You're doing an A+ job.
  5. At the time of this post there has been 114,639 views in this thread, which AFAIK is the most hits any thread has received on this website EVER. If that doesn't light a fire under your butt to do something ASAP, my dear BioWare, I don't know what will. Server Shutdown + Valor Rollback = Restored faith in your company
  6. Signed and stamped. If you want to push people away from the large group content you've designed Bioware, keep normal mode loot distribution the way it is. The vast majority of the player base will be running normal mode PUGs and not guild run hard/nightmare modes. That's a lot of subscription money and last I checked, money talks.
  7. It's cool that they're expanding on this lore. I remember the Rakghouls from KOTOR.
  8. So I gather you do not have to clear the normal version of an operation before entering the hard mode version? Would the same hold true for nightmare mode?

  11. My Sentinel is in full Champion gear and Operatives still hit me for similar numbers as portrayed in this video. Definitely needs to be scaled down but for now, Ops can enjoy their two button path to victory.

    So, PvP

I don't know what server you're on, but I paly Republic and 90% of the time we steamroll the Empire; even when they have 50s. Maybe it's because there is just soooooo many Empire players that the quality over quantity rule is now king and we tend to have smart players; but I digress. I agree, the PvP is not groundbreaking. It does get tedious at times but I've enjoyed everything about except that awful RNG token system. "Congratulations on spending time working for this Champion Bag and enjoy your new PvP gear!...PSYCHE it's RNG take useless Centurion tokens trollolololololol sorry brah." Oh and of course the daily sometimes not counting a win; that's annoying. Other than that my guild and I are having a blast.
  13. 3000 years actually. Yoda is 900 by Return of the Jedi so he didn't exist. /nerdmodeoff OP, Force users don't always have the upper hand and they can/have been taken out by non-Force users; ie Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones defending Count Dooku. There needs to be balance in an MMO, regardless of lore. Otherwise the forums would be plagued with even more "ONOES I gotz keeled by mean man class nerf or sub cancelleddz!!!11!!1!" threads. Please no I don't want my eyes to bleed at any more of those posts.
  14. You mean they went Empire, not dark side. Just because there are Sith affiliated with the Empire it doesn't restrict them to being labelled solely as "dark side". There is no light side or dark side faction. Light and dark are part of character development and that's it. "Evil" is a point of view. Just throwin it out there. As for the OP if you're having trouble winning WZs I suggest you make some friends, preferably level 50 until the 50 bracket is implemented, get on Vent and have some good coordinated fun. Makes all the difference in the world.
  15. Actually, if you PvP while you level you can build up a level 50 PvP set to the point where you will have a fighting chance as a new 50 toon, and with this new bracket system it's going to do nothing but encourage pre-50 players to PvP more often. I will be in with my alts far more often for sure. Gaining commendations and valor isn't a rough grind. Expertise is fine how it is. The only qualm I have is the completely random RNG for tokens from Champion Bags; that sort of system needs to stay in a PvE environment where it belongs.
  16. Gratz Condemned. May I ask how loot drops work in operations? I've read mixed reports all over the place and it would be nice to know.
  17. I'm going with "North America".
  18. If Bioware doesn't introduce firmer loot rules, the only way to avoid this type of scenario is to join a guild and play group content with them. PUGs are always a gamble unless the loot system is "grief proof".
