  1. Killing blows are mostly the same assists. What you meant "not actually 30 1v1 kills".
  2. /sarcasm Brilliant! So those who quit before now will stay and do nothing, afk, walk around in stealth or "guard" the only Alderanian turret which won't help you to win! That solved everything!
  3. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=315357 Though, what you want is a bit more detailed and more probable will show up with rated WZs.

    Bad Sportsmanship

Tuff luck with the local PvP community you've got there then. On my shard, I hardly remember any top PvP players saying anything more than /salute during WZs.
  5. Voting to kick a player will hardly help to win. I doubt the majority of PuGs loose because of a single failure of one teammate.
  6. Agreed, that was my biased statement, based on my subjective experience acquired on my server. I can not prove my point, but neither can you prove yours. The only thing we could do is to agree to disagree.
  7. And let PvE-rs buy rakata gear for columi tokens?? In PvE you always have a drop of the top gear, but you can not reach it alone without teaming up with other players. In PvP you can reach BM and grab all the top gear alone, without bothering looking for group, you can even do nothing like many people do - afk, solo grind and care not for WZ objectives - eventually you will wear the top PvP gear anyway. So not having a 100% drop chance for it is fair. Give players ability to buy BM for tokens or a single quest which would award a BM piece with a 100% chance will lead to a swarm of full BMs in a short time, and the game is meant to run longer than that. Again, all this hype comes from the fact that "people want everything, best and right now".
  8. I seriously doubt publishing stats on WZs/Ilum would spark a movement to farm more WZs for the sole reason of "improving" statistics for a specific faction. There is no per-person/guild information in all of this, nobody will know your contribution, so it's just not worth it. Those eager for personal glory will invest into rated WZs. Besides, we know very well the majority of players play in PuGs and they play not for "fun", but for the only reason: grind for Champion/BM gear.
  9. The question "Why does it matter?" could be asked for any topic posted on the forum, it's not constructive criticism. The purpose of this information disclosed to the game community is not to "make someone play better", but to give players accurate understanding of PvP related processes. Your point of view is similar to: "Why publish statistics on unemployment? Why does it matter? Those numbers won't make less jobless people and we already know there are plenty of those who don't have a job or don't want to work at all!".
  10. On the contrary - those numbers could silence a lot of whiners which whine on fictional basis, quoting numbers they invent themselves.
  11. And another one for my companion. And one more for my cat. The only problem is: people want everything .. and now!
  12. BW, please create an swtor.com website section with PvP statistics! It is such an obvious thing, why keep it a secret?! Most of the examples below assume provided statistics by [today / this week / average by the last n days days] and ability to choose [overall] or [per server] information. WZs related subsection: Cumulative for all WZs and separately for each WZ type. Separate for pre level 50 and level 50 characters groups. Total number of WZs played WZs won per faction [numbers / percentage] Advanced classes table, sortable by values: Popularity Most popular advanced class to participate in WZs Consider also builds, depending on which branch holds more talent points, e.g.: Sage - Seer Juggernaut - Immortal etc. [*]Average gear meta-score [*][average / maximum] Total [damage / healing] done DPS / HPS Kills / deaths Ilum OWPvP related subsection: By default plot superimposed for both factions Moving graphic of the number of players participating in the Ilum OWPvP: Daily (last-24h-long, 5 minute average) Weekly (last-7d-long, 30 minute average) Optional: Monthly (last-31d-long, 2 hour average?) [*]Similar graphics for Number of points controlled per faction Time spent by players in the OWPvP location Average valor gained per kill Would be also interesting to plot valor gain efficiency [*]Map of Ilum's OPPvP location with superimposed plot of density of player kills With a color scale from blue (cold - no skirmishes in this region of the map) to red (hot - high level of PvP and player kills in this region) Also daily/weekly with appropriate averages I bet my list is by far not full and there are much more numbers interesting to our PvP community, so please propose other observables you wish to see or argue the necessity of such feature in general. P.S. There is no doubt BW have this and more plotted for themselves, it's only a matter of making those plots available for the game community on a pretty webpage.
  13. Clean your karma and pray to /dev/random.
  14. Bah, which class isn't "OP" when you have a swarm of them?
  15. ROFL xD Next will be: "Remove all WZs, leave only a single button 'Gief PvP lewt.'!".
