  1. Aw, you're upset, how cute. My argument on why the game is terrible: I get bored when I play it (so I don't anymore) That's it. 5 of my RL friends joined with me on launch, all quit within a few months. However, we like to watch it squirm. Here's a guide for you: http://www.apa.org/topics/anger/control.aspx
  2. But seriously guys ... if those 3 games were combined it would be awesome. When I was playing the Tera beta, the whole time I was thinking, "I wish SWTOR's combat could be like this". (I hated everything else about Tera, but the combat was much better than SWTOR) Imagine having the ability to really move like a jedi, blocking, dodging, flipping around etc. Every single class would be more interesting to play, and pvp would be fast paced and much more Star Warsy. Instead, click badguy, move into range, press 1, press 2, press 1 again, badguy dies, click other badguy, press 2, press 4 (why not), press 1, regen health. Now I only have to do this 1,000,000 more times before I reach max level. This game's combat is mind numbing and boring to look at.
  3. I love watching this game flop. I don't play it anymore, neither do any of my friends, but I just love coming onto the forums to see the newest person that realized the game is below average on every single level.
  4. Hey, I liked the guys from Panda Attack.
  5. I'm not 50 yet, but I would imagine doing everything you can to get super rich would be fun. It's what I plan on doing at endgame. You can't expect there to be a massive list of stuff to do just after a MAJOR game launch like this. Honestly man, for launch, SWTOR has quite a bit to do. It's only been a couple months and they are adding stuff already. If alts aren't your thing just go out and farm mats, play the economy, and get rich to prepare yourself for the future of the game. Or you could go help newbs out, hold trivia games in started zones, protect people from getting ganked, help your guildies level up, develop relationships with people on your server, refine your PVP skills. There's lots of stuff to do other than straight progression, just think a little outside of the box. I dunno, just throwing it out there.
  6. Well I'm from Earth so I wouldn't recommend it. Also, I love SWTOR, don't misunderstand me homie. Just mad at the mods for not being able to allow a nice, decent thread supporting the community. I'll fight for this game even if the EA / Bioware PR team goes to the darkside.
  7. Highly recommend joining The Fatman or any other highly populated server (although I don't think there is a server even close to The Fatman) Don't play on the dead servers or you won't get to experience the awesomeness that is SWTOR. I wouldn't wait for the transfer service (which knowing EA will cost you 20$ or so) Just make the jump. I like the person trying to sell Space Slug, maybe try that out ... but I know nothing about that server. I do know that The Fatman has a massive population though. So if you aren't sure try both at peak times.
  8. "Blah blah blah ... you can continue the discussion of this topic -----> over there .... It reached the post limit M'Kay?
  9. I made a single thread trying to decide OTHER servers to make "main" servers other than The Fatman. Posts =/= threads. They ninja closed it btw. There is seriously something wrong going on with the forum censors, if you can't see that you're blind. There is NOT a thread about which servers to fill up other than The Fatman. I love this game just like you, I want it to succeed but referring people to off-topic, derailed threads that don't even pertain to what I'm talking about is not helping the community of SWTOR.
  10. At censoring their paying playerbase. Yep.
  11. Obviously "The Fatman" is the main mega server atm. Of course, there are way too many SWTOR players to all roll on a single server. Since Bioware hasn't really done anything to address the server population issue, I think it's up to us, the players, to establish which servers to move to. As many of us know, there are a ton of dead servers. Let's leave those servers and decide what servers should be number 2, 3, 4, etc ... So, after the "The Fatman" which server is the most populated? If Bioware isn't going to do anything to alleviate the population issues we must do it ourselves. What do you guys think? PVP, PVE, RP, RP-PVP, (East & West Coasts) I honestly think that the community can help SWTOR and Bioware to stop players from leaving due to low population issues. Let's hear your suggestions and fill up those planets!
  12. Can't wait to see ya. Was 300 people on Rep side in fleet at around 4:00 p.m. this Wednesday (yesterday) and 130+ people in Coruscant. It's epic.
  13. Yep, untill I re-rolled on The Fatman. Do it and you will realize that you haven't been playing SWTOR as it was meant to be played ... with hundreds of other people.
  14. Just do it. I was on a ghost town server and was about to quit the game. I rolled a character on The Fatman today and had the most fun I've ever had on SWTOR. Every server should be like The Fatman, it's that much better. Whether it was Fennin Ro in EQ or Illidan in WoW, the biggest pop server is where you wanna be at. Why would you want to play on a backwater server while there are a ton of people enjoying the mega server? No brainer IMO, join The Fatman the second servers come back up, I promise you won't regret it.
  15. You guys are obviously not in the loop. Let me help you out. There ARE server transfers ... in fact, they are free for you and your entire guild / friend base. It's called re-rolling on The Fatman. Do it, don't look back, enjoy massive battles, lively chat, thriving zones, more groups than you can shake a stick at, and a deep seeded respect for the big burly body type.
  16. Star Wars: The Old Republic is from this moment on known as ..... THE FATMAN: THE FAT REPUBLIC!!! LONG LIVE THE FATMAN!!!
  17. The Fatman is doing a great job. Bioware is alright, but The Fatman is where it's at. Only good server in the game.
  18. One server to rule them all .... one ... uh, thing to find ... it Seriously though, if you want to play SWTOR like it was meant to be experienced do yourself a favor and roll a new character on The Fatman. Apparently there is only a single SWTOR server and 1 million out of 1.7 million people are on The Fatman. I'm kidding but I'm not ... if you like to have other people to play your MMORPG with, join The Fatman, and be blown away by a healthy server. You'd think that if this game was doing as well as everyone says it is we'd have 10 servers with a healthy population like this. Unfortunately, there is only 1 good server in all of TOR, and that server is THE FATMAN!
  19. My frame rate drops in fleet because there are so many people, but since I'm not in combat it doesn't bother me much. But the planets and such I have experienced no frame rate or lag issues whatsoever. This server might just save TOR for me, it just feels like how I imagined the game. To me, the queue is more than worth it. If I have to wait I just fire up the PS3, do some homework, play other games on Steam while I wait to get in etc.
  20. While that happens, it beats the alternative of not being able to find a group for heroic quests (because there are 4 people on the planet including you) or not being able to find FP groups. I enjoy seeing a thriving world with people running everywhere fighting all the mobs. The Black Sun's territory on Coruscant looks like a freaking warzone with 130 people battling it out all over the place ... how it should be.
  21. The Fatman is the only server in the entire game that feels like it belongs in an MMORPG. I came from Gardens of Talla, where if you were lucky there might be 15 people in fleet and 3-4 people per planet. Fatman with it's 300 people in fleet and 130 or so on the other planets is 1000x better than the ghost land server I left. I actually feel like I'm playing an online game now. I recommend everyone join The Fatman if you want to get the true SWTOR experience. I would rather wait an hour to play than go back to a crappy ghost town.
  22. Don't worry, my disappointment thread got closed about 1 minute from someone almost convincing me to give the game another go with a different mindset lol. At least they're fair I guess.
  23. Obviously I wasn't being literal with the word perfect ... nothing is perfect. I was expecting an exceptional game, not a "meh" done in a month experience.
  24. I've finished act 1 on both the BH and Agent, and I didn't find it to be very awesome. The agent specifically, during the big boss fight, it kept bugging out to the point that I had to file a ticket just to finish it. Looking back that was really the moment that I just kind of stopped caring about the game. I agree that SWTOR is a good game ... but I was hoping for a great game and to me at least, it's just not up to par or even close to my expectations.
