wow was a social fad that got people playing because it was the thing to do years ago. its over, and every new mmo that comes out is plagued at launch by these people who never should have played an MMO to begin with. It completely sucks that they have affected the industry and design process of new games. they need to either go back to WOW or go play Farmville or something on Facebook. MMO's should be played with longevity in mind , that fact that all these people CLAIM they are unsubbing after a few weeks in a game design to be played over many years is all the proof you need.

yes it is, thats the RPG part. getting better stats through your experiences. you basically want an appearnce tab so that you dont have to do any work or put any time in to make your character look the way you want it to. Which is the entire point of these games... to upgrade and customize your character. the orange system is a great system. Does it need some kinks worked out? yes i would suggest that for raid gear you be allowed to completely transform the dropped purples into the orange appearance of your choice.

yeah ... um.... your playing on a computer capable of multitasking, and you most likely have a cellphone with a timer on it on your desk or in your pocket. yeah.

So you people are complaining that the system takes too much work now. In a game where the purpose is to upgrade your character through work. lulz so hardcore progression raiders, i dont want to put any time into a system for the sake of customizing gear. WUT?

its called immersion and a believable star wars universe.. U know the reason we're all here. I like it, HOWEVER. i do wish we had a recall to ship ability or that your ship would come pick you up.

wow now ive seen everything. ************ about too many abilities? seriously? I dont care if i have an ability that i can only use after a mob turns three times to the left and pulls a flower out of his pocket. I still want to have that choice. i do agree we need more UI tweaks. so far i have everything bound and all four bars filled up. I think i have 6 empty spaces. Naga mouse + G13 FTW i dont even use a keyboard anymore except at the GTN to search

step 1 get your class quest step 2 grab ever quest around for the same area step 3 travel once to go quest step 4 fast travel back to turn in repeat as neccesary. you only have to run to a new area once. i wouldnt mind seeing sprint at level 10, but other than that its fine.

you mean like everything else in a MMO thats random. seriously here is your solution if you are unwilling to accept it because its too hard then either A.) you dont want that appearance too bad afterall. or B.) you just want stuff handed to you and you dont need to be playing MMO's the modable gear system is BW's take on an appearance tab. I believe they have stated that every green armor in the game has an orange counterpart.

43 powertech here. i havent playeed trooper yet so i cant compare. but i will say that i dont use DFA in pvp unless im off to the side and no one is attacking me. which is not that often as a powertech because i am essentially melee. in melee range it just take too long to get off.

i never meant to imply it was a JK class problem. only that all my other characters are fine. I was hoping it was a setting issue, since each character starts with default settings. I.e. the ability queue setting or something.

nope this is way far and above ability lag. This is the animation actually starts and restarts itself 2-3 times before completing. Also as i stated before by Powertech is also fine (except for in warzones)

Love the game this is not a Negative post about me quitting. got my BH to 43 last night. No combat problems got a sith Jugg in the works with no problems rolled a JK the other day because i want to see the story. combat is completely unplayable. I hit an ability and it stutters. I.E. sunder attack, i hit the button and it starts the animation then restarts the animation then finally triggers the dmg after about 1 second or more. It only happens on my JK. all my other characters are responsive. (well sometimes in Warzones i notice ability delay on the BH) . Anyone got any ideas? is it the ability que setting i've heard about? I have no idea why this only happens on my jedi while my Sith Jugg is fine.

lol so has everybody else. im sorry you dont like it. Many people do. Many people dont. whatever. This game will be a sucessfull MMO for many years. It will not be a wow killer. (nothing will) WoW will never be beaten because it was a social Fad phenomenon, it had little to do with the actual game. I was just a social convergence. Many of those WoW players are now realizing that they dont really like MMO's even. they just liked WoW, it's like the facebook of gaming.

your comment is just as bad. I had plenty of money for my mount training, trained all my skills and leveled cybertech to 150 to make my own speeder (including buying the recipe off the GTN) all without slicing or even selling stuff, all that was just from questing and vendoring. The economy is not screwed and the slicing nerf did nothing but bring slicing in line with the other proffs. i'm getting so sick of this "they ruined the economy" crap it is 10 days after launch THERE IS NO ECONOMY YET!!!!!!!!!!!!

orange gear is still a great idea, i am enjoying it more than an appearance tab for sure. I do see the problem here though and agree that their current fix is not going to fly. in my opinion they could make the raid mods removeable then rename them for each gear slot and make them BOP and/or unique. Ie "Tier x Boot Armoring Reflex mod"

you are being ridiculous, i never had slicing and i got my speeder training on time, leveled cybertech while i leveled bought several extra speeders and now at level 36 have 200k, with all skills trained. i have never sold anything on the GTN this is all from questing and vendoring. so spare me your poor me, im a victim rant.

powertech , shieldtech, leveling as tank, pvping as tank etc. loving it. i have several different companions to aid in leveling speed/downtime. and pvp tanking is proving to be fun. i do plan on rolling another character for DPS. which is the way I believe MMO's should work. Dual spec was a dumb idea in wow and its still dumb now. Respec fees should be kept fairly high so that one can tweak there spec, but not constantly switch.

i have mako gualt and torian , i still roll with mako. i mean come on what tank doesnt want a pocket healer. i have a hard time soloing elites or even two strongs , without her.

i just grab the silvers and above, the truly trashy trash , i will just taunt or overload shot to get their attention , once the silvers are down the non elite are either already dead or the group can one shot them.

granted im only 30ish, but i havent had a problem with any class 1v1. get them in close and get the oil slick on them, you have quell, 2x stun darts, a bubble and kolto. i love watching people strafe around me like a dying chicken spaming abilities as i casually sit there an rocket punch and flamethrower them to death. i am actually loving playing a pvp tank in this game. between the guard spell and the aoe - taunt that debuffs whole groups of people youre not directly involvedwith a shield tech has alot to offer in pvp

i was forced to play empire by their design decisions, namely.. i wanted to play a bounty Hunter. I would have been much happier with a Hutt or under world faction for smugglers and BH's

I'm sorry you dont like it but ii highly doubt its something that can be fixed. Go play Modern warfare if you want twitch gaming. MMO's come from RPG's which were turn based, they will never be twitch. Wow was faster yes. AOC wasnt , Warhammer was fast. Everquest wasnt really. etc. etc. I really dont see the point in complaining. YOu stated you didnt like it. I'm sorry. I have been having a blast in PVP. but then again i am a casual pvper, im lvl 36/valor 15 or so.
