  1. Well any of the classes can tank so it's up to whether you want to use a lightsaber or a blaster and then which class appeals to you more.
  2. Well they'll all help you learn to play the game but they each have their own style. It all comes down to whether you want to wield a lightsaber or a blaster. It also depends on whether you want to be DPS, Tank, or Healer. Once you decide on those then you narrow down from there.
  3. Thank you. Guess that gives the Jawa a Jedi companion in full robes, the Noghri a Trandoshan companion, and Ortolans don't rally have a counterpart.
  4. Mini Me! I guess that'd be an Ewok with a Wookiee companion right?
  5. Coming in 2013 the Short Patch! New playable races including Ortolans, Jawas, Ewoks, and Nohgri! Actually the Nohgri would been frikkin sweet. EDIT: Though there was a Jedi Knight Ortolan named Nem Bees.
  6. I agree. I'm playing a Jedi Sage based off of Jacen Solo. Mara is certainly a fighter so I see no problem with a Sentinel. You can always imagine the off-hand saber is a Shoto lol. EDIT: I can definitely see Jaina as a Guardian because it still fits with her being the "Sword of the Jedi" and also her fighting to protect others as you say.
  7. Just in case I'll post again here. She's a warrior type and she describes herself as such in the opening quote here http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Mara_Jade_Skywalker.
  8. Read the quote right at the beginning. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Mara_Jade_Skywalker
  9. She was still portrayed as being more of a warrior even when she was a Jedi Master. Mara has just always been a fighter and a warrior so I'd go with the Jedi Guardian to be honest since she favored one lightsaber combat. As mentioned before she did learn to use a second lightsaber known as a Shoto because it was shorter and it was used to fight against the Lightwhip of Lumiya . So I'd pick Jedi Knight and then whichever AC you want.
  10. I'd have to go with Knight because she was more of a physical fighter than anything else. She was very combat efficient.
  11. Man, ain't nobody understand the words comin out of your mouth! But seriously I'd love to see the Nautolans as a playable race.
  12. Maybe there aren't enough herders for all the nerfs? Just a thought.
  13. According to comments on both TORhead and Darthhater websites people are saying that the Battlelord armor pieces are random drops of high level mobs (45-50) or can also be obtained from high level lockboxes (46+). Also check the GTN to see if someone is selling any of the pieces. That's about all I could find so take it as you will.
  14. I think most people don't like how long the series is (19 books not counting the e-books I believe) and many people hate the way Jacen was portrayed and what becomes of Anakin. I personally enjoyed the Vong war but it did kind of drag during the mini 3 book series based on Nom Anor and setting up for retaking Coruscant. I'm pretty sure it took me 2 or 3 months to read the whole series considering I could only find time to read while I was at work.
  15. Well the ladies might like that kind of feature but I fail to see how it helps the game any. Oh wait, does the "d" stand for something else?
  16. Take a look at the third example sentence on this page. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/ergonomic?s=t
  17. Personal holocam is for local calls and the ship holoprojector is for long distance communication.
  18. Well of course. But on Alderaan on the Imperial side when you come out of the space port, that first city has 8 mailboxes I believe I counted. It certainly could have survived with only 3 maybe 4. It's not game breaking of course but I just find it funny that you can pass several mailboxes in a matter of a few meters.
  19. What I like is when there are 3 mailboxes within a 5 foot radius. It seems like such a waste to put so many mailboxes in such a small area.
  20. I apologize as well if it seemed like I was being a jerk as I was not trying to be a jerk. I started playing from day one of early access but since I was playing on a lousy computer I stopped playing for over a month until I bought a new computer so I only have about 700k credits on my highest character. I've been hearing that some of these crystals will possibly be able to be crafted by Artifice users after the 1.2 update. I don't know if they are removing the original ways of obtaining these crystals so if they don't at any rate you could just try to obtain what you want through a drop or crafting. Or in another month you'll have so many credits you won't know what to do with you'll just be able to buy what you want on the GTN
  21. The crystal formations you speak of are for the players who choose Archeology as their gathering skill in order to collect materials used for Artifice and Synthweaving crafting skills. The preorder crystal vendor is for the people who preordered the game so only those people can access the vendor and purchase the crystal.
  22. The fact that certain formerly rare items such as the crystals are available via vendors is a result of people crying on the forums about not being able to have a purple crystal and that the crystals are too rare. The crystals never should have been made available like they are in my opinion. But they are being sold by vendors who everyone has access to so all you gotta do is have the credits. Which isn't too hard to come by. I personally have no desire for any of these crystals because I don't care for the colors. I can't really afford them anyway so I don't much care. I understand your point and if I were a new player and really wanted a white crystal or something and can't afford it I'd be pretty disappointed as well.
