  1. Are the details of transfers posted finally?
  2. I can think of another one right off the top of my head. Whirlwind. Lasts 8 seconds. Don't have to be in stealth to cast. Lately almost every single "nerf this" post put up on this forum is by people who simply do not know the abilities of other classes, and even worse, their own class. Play with some intelligence and you'll be a better player...in theory...
  3. Well, with all of the "top" rated teams transferring to the Bastion, Harbinger might see some new teams stepping up to do rateds because they won't get their bums handed to them by the teams who have left.
  4. I'm in Michigan and I've played on The Harbinger from the start and haven't really noticed that I get any more ping than the average West Coaster. That being said.... I'll transfer to whatever server the majority of my friends transfer to. Maybe all of you POT5 people should transfer to Bastion too so we can have a HUGE PvP party server. I'll bring the pickles...I do a nice relish tray...I'm just saying...
  5. Incorrect. As I previously stated most if not all classes get some sort of way around/through traps. For example, as I also previously stated- Sorcs can spec into the immune to movement effects for their speed boost and even if they don't go up that tree they can bubble and run super fast. Juggs can leap, Assasins have a nice speed boost, etc. You are entitled to voice your opinion as am I. It is my OPINION that you should spend some time learning to play instead of crying on the forums because Scoundrels/Sniper finally got a "movement" talent. Have a fantastic day!
  6. You can get 5 rolls as an operative with a full energy bar. If you aren't snared you roll 12 meters/roll. If you are snared you roll 6 meters/roll. That really doesn't seem overpowered to me compared to some of the other movement skills other classes get...like Sorcs who can spec into being immune to CC effects while using their force speed. Maybe you should try to learn how to more effectively and intelligently cc people to get around their abilities instead of crying about things on the forum.
  7. Here's my problem with that scenario. I can't go into a PVE flashpoint that requires "Ultimate" PVE gear in MY "Ultimate" PVP gear and be just as effective as I would be if I were in "Ultimate" PVE gear instead. BUT They can enter a PVP WZ in their PVE gear and be damned near equal to someone decked out in full PVP gear. So why should they be able to have the equivalent of "Ultimate" PVP gear without working for it? Basically they get the best of both worlds without having to grind for both sets whereas if I want to PVE I would have to grind out a whole new set of gear. I don't see how that's fair.
  8. Are most of you PVPers still planning on The Harbinger? Lots of us from The Harbinger are going to head to Bastion when transfers open up...that's based on those I've talked to and a few threads in our forum. Seems like the ranked scene is transferring.
  9. Ok : ) Do you guys do any organized world PvP? Like...let's all meet at 5PM at a certain location and just kill eachother dead a bunch of times? If so, what's the scale like?
  10. I'm excited about the housing; I miss my swg house and my poor abandoned Wampa.
  11. What are your queue times like for regular Warzones?
  12. As far as Operatives/Scoundrels go we've got instant HOTs and one spell that will give a small instant heal that requires a "Tactical Advantage" charge to execute. This heal doesn't heal a ton and isn't going to keep anyone sustaining a lot of damage up for very long. It would be like trying to pour a cup of water into a bucket that's full of holes...it will get some water in there for a while, but it's not going to fill it up very effectively. I rarely run out of energy on my Operative/Scoundrel because I know how to manage it. On my Sorc healer I have issues maintaining my force because the regen is bad and there aren't really any really effective mechanics to help. A good player can shut down a lot of the healing output of any class if they use their brains. I.E. don't waste your stuns and interupts on small heals, wait for the large ones. Don't fill resolve bars too fast by using your big CC measures. If you annoy a healer enough to the point where they have to heal themselves then they are probably not going to be focusing as much on their allies and you're doing your job. Maybe you should try playing each type of healer. It's a good way to figure out how to get around them. Ignorance is not bliss in PvP. Know your enemy, blah blah. As a healer myself I've noticed a large influx of healers since 2.0 came out which is probably why a lot of you are hating healers atm...whether they are on your team or the opposing one. I've been in games where I'm 1 of 4 healers on my team. It's not any more fun for me than it is for you on the other team; it's boring. I could switch to DPS but only if you want to laugh at me as I die 20 times and do like 250k in damage. It's not pretty. I'll usually guard a node and go paint my nails in games like that.
  13. "A future patch." Thanks for the update. Bungs.
  14. Whenever I'm doing my PVE dailies I don't have any problems with finding a group. Same thing when I'm on my lowbie doing them. Yeah, there are some loudmouthed bungholes on this server, but I'm pretty sure that's true on all servers. Just gotta take the good with the bad, facts of life. Hee.
  15. I'm an operative and I'm not really a fan of this ability. Maybe it's because I find the motion to be jerky so it makes me feel seasick. It also costs a lot of energy and I'm usually snared in pvp, so moving forward a tiny bit isn't a huge advantage. I use it when shtf but that's about it. Funny to see a sage/sorc complain about an overpowered speed ability. How about when you get the Fadeout skill for your Force Speed that gives you a 100% chance to remove all movement impairing effects and grants you immunity to movement impairing effects as well as the speed? You poor poor babies....how you must be suffering.
  16. They upped the damage and the heals. Breaking a million in either isn't a big deal anymore. Healers are not unkillable. If you think they are, try playing a healer for a while, let yourself get to be known as a healer, see how much you get focused, and then see if you actually think playing is fun any more... Healers, in general, are more used to paying attention to other players in warzones. They are more situationally aware than other players quite often. There are a lot of bad dpsers out there who think their only job in a warzone is to tab target and dps players. They don't attack the key enemies and they don't pay attention to objectives which is SO ironic since a lot of them have really crap DPS. As a healer I'm looking at the health of my group and the map a lot. I notice if the health of someone guarding a node solo is going down and I react accordingly. A lot of players I've grouped with don't even have their ops frame up even though it's a handy tool. Or how many times do you find yourself at a node, look around and there's 1 enemy and 5 of your team members are standing there killing him instead of concerning themselves with where the other 7 enemies are? ^ Tangent. Sorry. Where was I? Oh. Yeah. Healers aren't unkillable.
  17. Ummm...where the birdy pic you promised Chrys and me? Jerk.
  18. I think one of the reasons why you're seeing more "newbs" since 2.0 is because you are queueing with people who might actually be pretty new to pvp instead of just simply stupid. Some players who are level 30ish might be doing warzones for the first time...is all I'm saying. I enjoy a nice "how to" post as much as the next girl, but how many times are people going to continue to post the same instructions? If someone truly wants to learn these things they can easily find the information all over the place. Fact is, most people are playing to have fun. They rarely visit these forums and they probably don't care what you think they are "supposed" to be doing. I know I have a lot of attitude and sometimes run my mouth in warzones so I probably don't have any right to say this... BUT Maybe if people actually helped others learn what to do inside of the warzones themselves instead of preaching, being bossy douchebags, or sarcastic meanies, the newer players might actually care about what you're saying and listen instead of automatically ignoring you. Or you can continue to come onto the forums and make lists and how to's that no one who actually needs the information is going to probably read. Not picking on you personally for making this post. At least you're trying to be constructive.
  19. I tried messing around and removing relics and whatnot and it really effed up my bonus healing/damage. Yeah you might get more endurance and main stat..but at what cost? And don't you just love how the higher you level the more crap stats your gear gets until you can get the level 55 stuff? I've lost like 10% crit and surge so far. Bioware you are awesome.
  20. I don't understand why they felt the need to get rid of all WZ dailies/weeklies for those who aren't 55. There have been dailies for people under 50 for many many moons... Why would they remove them now that 55 is the max level? Lazy? How about you make at least a daily again for each of the brackets?
  21. What bioware has to say about bolster:
  22. Yeah. I put up a post in the customer service forum. No response yet. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=623183
  23. Some have both. True story. First person shooters+me=bleh. I'll check out Tera.
