I wasn't sure where to put this but I wanted to express my gratitude for the new customer service experience that I was just provided. Compared to launch, where you had to wait hours upon hours to get a hold of a person, I was literally connected instantly (at 5:30PM EST) and my issue was resolved in 2 minutes.
I have been happily using the authenticator for months now, and last night I trashed my android phone so i was forced to load from a restore point. Well when you restore the SWTORSK app, you are prompted to enter the serial # and activation code again, which you can only access after logging in.
After fixing the issue, I received this email stating "Thank you for contacting us today and agreeing to take the time to provide us with your feedback. We would love to hear about your recent experience with our newly formed Customer Service department, and so we invite you to fill out the following survey. Any thoughts and opinions you provide will play an important part in helping us to continually assess and improve the service we offer to you."
I dreaded calling, but ended up being delighted by this change. I just wanted to pass this along to those of you who have had bad experiences in the past, or if you dread calling to reset your authenticator, it's really not a big deal - it can be fixed nearly instantly.
