Hopefully you will continue to stream your matches. Even if I 'm not on the same server as you, your stream consistently has the best music in my opinion. Well said though, I totally agree. Dysfunctional or not we did/do have a community here.

From my experiences, there has been a decline in the quality of players in pug groups on the Republic side. I think there are a combination of things going on. One, being that there are more quality pre-made groups Imp side than previously (1.6-2.0). Two, there do seem to be some people who might have thought the grass was greener and may or may not have been the previously bad Imp pugs. I'll provide a few examples which I recently encountered. In a Novarre, there was a commando running around with no active cell despite me spamming operations chat an annoying amount that he didn't. That same war zone, we were only holding west. I asked why we had 2 defending a node which was not being attacked. The reply I received was "She is my pocket healer and has never done pvp before. She is sticking with me show she knows what to do." And, during a Hypergates there was a commando guarding the pylon. He was attacked, and I responded to fight off the attacker. Before I left the node, I asked him in ops chat if he used his CC breaker. I received no response, so I asked again, twice while I headed to mid. He was promptly CC capped on, after which he whispered me "next time send me a whisper because I'm not watching ops chat." /facepalm And this, is why I usually end up guarding nodes while dps shadows and scoundrels fight with the attacking teams. Too many want to see numbers.

I guess that's what I get for guarding nodes so often.

I end up guarding more often that I really care to because either nobody else will, or the person guarding is less of a liability with the attacking group. I know I'm not some leet commando, but I can do more damage than most can. I don't mind if I'm with a solid premade onthe other side of the ops frame though.

I voted that I'm not leaving JC. I am hoping that the pvp scene, for what it is, isn't destroyed here. Yea, I know I don't do much ranked at all but I do plenty of regs. I would do ranked but its not game breaking not to for me.

I find both of these amusing. Healers are harder to kill than any dps class right now, they are far from squishy. I also laugh at the pvp server reference. I've got characters on both JC and PoT5 and I can tell you at least outside of ranked, there is lots of derp happening on both servers.

There was a belief that Jedi Covenant was a server where Imperial pvp groups hardly ever won. Someone actually recorded their results over a few weeks and came to the conclusion that the win/loss ratio was 48/52 in slight favor or Republic. The striking difference was the number of decisive wins by Reps was much greater than those Imp side. So, while we have a fairly balanced win/loss between factions you are more likely to be face rolled by a Rep group than an Imp group. This was done pre-2.0 and I am of the opinion that even that has balanced out. Pre-2.0 faction balance on Jedi Covenant

I have no immediate plans to transfer off JC at all. In fact, I have a level 50 Merc that I will bring here from Shadowlands.

The agent story really picks up in chapter 2. And, to top it off the story has some different twists depending on a choice you make at the end of chapter 1 if I remember correctly. I've played it once as a light side operative, and am nearing the end as a dark side sniper and there are some definite differences.

I am slowly working through the Inquisitor storyline but I have finished all the others. On the Imp side both the warrior and agent stories are awesome and Rep side only the knight really got my attention. Of course this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. So, even though I main Rep side I can agree with you.

I find this particular part amusing. Roll a commando and get back with me at how soft your slinger feels? Ok, commandos are in a better place now, but still pale in comparison to snipers/slingers. I have both classes at 55 and I can do similar damage on my slinger with half the gear and experience.

Or, just ctrl-U twice to reload your UI. That fixes it.

You are far from horribad. Not sure why you would claim to be a spokesperson for them. Respectfully, Desull is that how you do it?

Not going to lie, I think some of the horribad players have left Imp side and rolled Pub toons. There is a certain unnamed guardian who thinks they are a tank, but wears dps gear. I have yet to see them top 70k damage in any of the dozen or so WZs I've been in with them and they don't do protection either. I do most of my pvp solo so I've seen some rough matches.

Darkyoda's stream is one of my favorites. He engages his viewers and is one of the best shadows around in my opinion, and I'm extremely jealous of his rig (Titans in SLI - what?). I've spent lots of time watching streams myself and I agree with what Troy says about picking some things up from them.

Upgrade everything to Conq gear, its a little bit of a grind. I've got over 3k aim with my set of conq gear.

I have said it before, but if you are expecting a better pvp experience in anything outside of ranked warzones you will be dissapointed. The non-ranked pvp on a pvp server is no different than it is here and you will find very little world pvp.
