Hi everyone and thanks for checking this out. I'm a returning player interested in finding a place to hang out when I do log on maybe once or twice a week and maybe do some conquest. I started playing in beta and have been occasionally logging on to do the solo content there is, but I'm interested in some of the stuff that requires more numbers. I have a few level 65s (commando/merc/mara) and lots of 60s. I've got extensive pvp experience, albeit none since KOTFE released, and solid PVE experience prior to Revan. Some people who've been here for a long time might have even seen me in PvP. Lately I'm just leveling up some new characters for DVL, would just like a place to hang my hat and maybe raid weekends. It's not enough that literally everytime there is a patch I need to run the repair tool, not this. Thanks for the excellent work. I should add that my client does not even start to download, I get the 308 error before any patching begins.

Yea, I'm not doing any raiding at all but as you can see I'm doing a little pvp. I'm sure the class changes will be much more enjoyable once I get rid of this Exhumed gear.

Here is a thought, not sure how it could be implemented. As the pvp gear purchases work now, in order to acquire the best gear (Dark Reaver) we need to turn in our Exhumed gear (or shells). What if the person prefers the look of the Exhumed gear over the Dark Reaver? They would need to not only grind warzones to purchase the Dark Reaver gear, now they need to purchase for a second time the Exhumed gear for just the shells. How about we are given a way to purchase the Dark Reaver gear without giving up the Exhumed shells at the same time. There has to be some way for the game to check for the Exhumed gear as a requirement to purchase, without spending it as currency. This could be a very nice change and I am surprised I was not able to find it suggested.

Free casting on a commando? I guess given the other names I see it's not a total surprise, but still that just doesn't happen.

I know I've won many more than 145 warzones.

I've never healed, but the same applied as dps too. It doesn't matter if I'm playing gunnery or assault. If I'm gunnery I can at least get off 2 instant med probes (granted I'll use up half of my ammo doing so) with tech override. The experience is similar though. Maybe once my wow sub is up and I spend less time raiding there I will have to work on a different class for pvp.

Our activity outside of raid times is pretty pathetic right now. We had a resurgence of log-ins during the holidays, but that stopped. We've got a handful who are logging in for raids, and that's it right now. We aren't dead, but we don't have enough on for 4s. At least that seems to be the case when I'm online. I could be missing something when I log onto my Imps, but I am almost always in our TS.

I do have other classes I could play at 55. I just really enjoy the commando/merc. The proof about how good/bad they are lies in the leaderboard. I was carried to a handful of wins and I am #4 on the group que for the class. That shouldn't be possible, but with a small pool of groups taking them it is. I fought the class balance issue with 8 v 8 too, its why I leveled my VG. Just looking through the thread and looking at Liz's post about helping newer players. Most people don't even listen to advice about how bolster works. Every time I see someone wearing their old BM or Recruit gear I try to explain to them how bolster works. Most of the time, I get no response at all to let me know they will even look into it. I try linking the thread where the Dev's commented about how bolster is intended to work. I can only assume that they think they know what they are doing, and to take advice from someone else would be admitting that they don't. Most of my pvp lately has been solo queuing regs where its smash, or be smashed. Stealth classes who won't guard a node because numbers yo. They trash talk the opposition in /say while we are getting our asses handed to us because a sage or commando is left to guard. People do 300 dps and can't bother to look at a map. It's the same story it's been forever. Why do I love this game again? Oh yea, lightsabers (or blaster cannons).

Part of my dislike of arenas, be it ranked or reg is that it puts the focus on the shortcomings of the class I enjoy playing. At least in a team of 8 I am not the first target and can do some damage. I hate the idea of playing a different class just to be viable in ranked. Class balance in pvp is totally different than pve, I get that. Maybe I need to just suck it up and play something else in pvp. I hate losing, but I'm stubborn about the idea of playing a different class as a main for pvp just to be viable in ranked.

But, but, but.......I care.

There aren't really any true pvp only guilds on JC. We do a fair share in PD, but we do Ops just as often. The only guild I know of that has a presence on POT5 that used to be here on JC would be Unicorn Stampede. B30 might still have a few there too.

I was on my sniper last night and kept getting grouped with a merc who didn't have any active cell. I did almost everything I could to get their attention, and I wasn't alone. It took them until the end of the 2nd warzone before they finally saw my whispers to them and activated one. Somehow, we kept winning.

Several large servers were down for most of the evening Wednesday in wow. They were down for most of the prime time raiding hours here in the US. This stuff happens. I think it also might be safe to say that anyone complaining about unexpected downtime and bugs has never worked in IT and just don't understand that even the biggest companies in the world have issues with tech.

Vontor updates this usually once a week. And about the catch, Naelun was in PD for a bit right before transfers. He bolted for Pot5 with Bloodline and well, we know how that ended up. I was curious though because he never struck me as being capable of a server record type of hit. I don't know if he ever played TK, he was always balance. So I was curious and clicked on the link.

I just noticed an error with the Sage/Sorc and Slinger/Sniper biggest warzone hit records. The record listed for Sage is showing Naelun with 11809, but it was in fact not him who got that hit. That 11809 belongs to the gunslinger Rehara. If you notice the damage done in the highlighted box. I think Naelun took the SS, but it was indeed not a Sage record.
