  1. I'm pretty sure this thread is against the forum rules but I've read the responses of that guy and couldn't help but to laugh. Don't take him seriously, he's clearly not intending to harm you in any way. He is just, well, strange.
  2. Hello. Today I've encountered the following bug: when I used my Revan Holostatue in a warzone, it showed me the message: "The Darth Malgus Holostatue cannot be used in warzones." It should be corrected and changed to "The Revan Holostatue cannot be used in warzones."
  3. Hello guys. Just came here to suggest the inclusion of a new hairstyle for female characters: long hair without a fringe with a clear forehead. I think everyone understands what I mean here so I guess I don't need to provide any photos of women with such hairstyle. Strangely, being one of the most popular hairstyles in the real world, this hairstyle was not included in the game. The current version of a long-haired hairstyle has a fringe which is an element I don't like on people, especially on girls. That's it. Thanks for your attention.
  4. Christmas is coming every year at the exact same date. How is it completely unexpected for you?
  5. No way I am justifying it. I just explained why it was done. But making them legacy-bound looks like a good suggestion!
  6. Yes, of this I am aware. I agree this is an unpleasant change, but I guess it was necessary in order to make the Collections system work. A better way would be to let us keep using them without binding so they can remain tradeable, but that would not unlock them in the Collections. Unlocking them in the Collections, alternatively, would require binding them anyway by some other way (like physically moving the item to the Collections interface).
  7. Hello Alec. I have not encountered the problem you've described. Every item I had for months is still there, on my characters. I was not asked to pay additional Cartel Coins to unlock them on the characters that already owned them.
  8. Hello. My name is Daniel, and I am playing and enjoying SWTOR since open beta test. Staying subscribed since early access. Never stopped playing, never unsubscribed. I am a completionist and my goal in this game is to achieve and get everything possible. I want to share my thoughts on the Cartel Market and many issues that people are having with it. First, I want to remind everyone that the Cartel Market greatly helped SWTOR and made the game profitable for BioWare and EA again. People are buying what they want in the Market, the game gets financial support and continues providing us with the joy of playing it (I know there are many people who love the game and enjoy playing it despite the continuous game bashing, which I find pretty unreasonable). Why is the game, or better yet, the Cartel Market bashing unreasonable? It is quite simple. The great concept of how the Cartel Market works allows you to purchase EVERYTHING we have there with in-game currency, Galactic Standard Credits, from the players who bought it from the Market. You want that Eradicator Mask but don't want to spend real life money? No problems. Pay me with credits and I'll get it for you. There is no thing in the Market that only the people who pay extra money for Cartel Coins can get. No one is forced to pay real life money to buy that beautiful gear set. It is all obtainable without spending extra funds. So why bash the Cartel Market? There are thousands of people who buy all that stuff from the CM and put it into GTN or in your trade chat. Those people support the game, make it thrive, bring money to EA and make them happy to continue supporting SWTOR which we all love. It is those people's right and their decision. Why would you deprive them of it? Why would you say, "Damn BioWare for putting those unique dye modules to a random Dye Module Kit?" You can nevertheless get those pretty dyes for your gear without paying a buck, thanks to the people who buy it from the CM. Those people provide the developer with money and provide YOU with those items you want. It would be completely understandable if the CM was the only way to get all those items, if paying real life money was the only path to getting beautiful gear sets or packs. But it is NOT. The way the Market works in this game is brilliant. And because of that I cannot understand why people are so annoyed when the developer is trying to get more money to keep supporting the game. I cannot understand why you call this 'money grabbing' and think it is something bad. It is necessary for the game, and there are people who are eager to support it by buying all those things and making them accessible to you, the players who don't want to pay additional real money besides their monthly subscription cost. Don't buy those things if you don't want to spend real life money, buy them for credits instead. And stop bashing the CM. It is probably the greatest asset that keeps the game afloat.
  9. Mako is 16 at the beginning of the game's events, being the youngest of all companions, and even that is not pedophilia. I can't say there's something bad about having relationships with a 16 year old girl. Just saying.
  10. Hello. My suggestion is to add new legacy titles for winning a certain amount of matches in different warzones. Currently, there are no achievements rewarded for winning, say, 100 games. But they can be implemented along with these titles: Alderaan Civil War: Champion of Organa (Republic) / Champion of Thul (Empire) The Voidstar: Master Boarder Huttball: Professional Huttball Player Novare Coast: Conqueror of Denova Ancient Hypergates: Hypergate Operator Let me know what you think!
  11. I've just registered for all those games hoping to get the pets. As a completionist and a collector who is playing since early access, I really hope I'll be able to get them. Being screwed up simply because I don't play other EA games would be most upsetting.
  12. No, really? No, really?... I can't believe it.
  13. Just to balance it out? Or really express your gratitude to the people who created this game? Because I choose the latter. Thank you, BioWare.
  14. As we all remember, the Korrealis mounts were taken from the game before patch 1.2 went live. That patch, entitled Legacy, was a major milestone for SWTOR that connected all your existing characters on a server and gave sense to having characters from different factions on a single server. However, being mostly a Republic player, I did not get the opportunity to purchase the Korrealis Prince speeder, the PvP one, before it was removed, simply because I was not playing Imperial characters at that time. That speeder, unfortunately, was bound on pickup, which means it was not possible to transfer it to another character anyway. Of course, my Jedi Sentinel has the Republic version of Korrealis PvP speeder, but she lacks the Imperial one. Since patch 2.0 brings the fantastic achievement system that will include a zero-point achievement for having all the Korrealis speeders, I now have a question: Will the achievement be granted to you for having all four models of the speeder, or only the three ones that you could have bought with a single-faction character? This really concerns me as a collector, who has all the things you could possible have, excluding that speeder. Alternatively, can those players who already have the PvP Korrealis from one faction receive the speeder of another faction? It only seems fair as those speeders were taken from the game before the introduction of the Legacy system, and the achievements are tied to your Legacy.
  15. Both SW and SI get it upon completing their class story.
  16. The title says it all. It would be very nice to have the ability to instantly check your total /played time on all characters of your legacy or account.
  17. Of course, in a universe so diverse as the Star Wars universe, you would expect to have more choices and options for your character creation. I agree with the OP, though besides what he stated, there is another matter that was mentioned by the poster above. There are species that cannot not speak Basic due to their anatomical structure of organs of speech. Such species include (but not limited to) Wookiees, Jawas, and less known reptilian species like the Ssi-ruuk, P'w'ecks, and some others. Rodians, Trandoshans, Gamorreans and many other alien species actually CAN speak Basic, as demonstrated in several Expanded Universe sources. *A side note: There is an example of a Wookiee speaking Basic (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ralrracheen) But even if some people really want to play a species that cannot speak Basic, there is a solution for them. There may be two options for conversations: Either make their player character speak their native languages (for those who like growls and other odd sounds) or make their characters speak with "translated" speech, so we could understand what they are saying, and leaving the strange sounds in the background so they can still be heard. That way, it would look like a voice-over in a film. Another matter is the difference of physical size between humans (near-humans) and alien species. The Drall, for example, are a diminutive species of rodent-like aliens who can speak Basic, but implementing them as a playable species would be difficult due to the necessity to change camera positions in all the conversations. Changing camera positions to accommodate differently-looking species, to my mind, is the hardest obstacle the developers may face if they ever decide to create non-near-human species. And I think, there may be no hope for us at all. But having Cathar or other recolored guys that may come in the future is still a way of expanding this game, making it more like the greatest Star Wars game and adventure we could ever have.
  18. However, you could only redeem it before December, 31.
  19. [EDIT] I cannot remember the devs saying anything about this, though it would be very nice. But it is also a hard thing to implement, because some story elements are tied to the species the player character belongs to. If the devs are to give all species a slider for cybernetic implants, this would mean the decline for the original Cyborg species. If the devs are to give the Cyborg 'species' a slider for different species, this would mean the necessity to re-code a large number of game conversations.
  20. I have no idea why you would not spend money from your credit card, but it is no concern of mine. I believe there will be expansion code cards selling in shops. You know, like they did with Cartel Coins (there will be CC code cards available from two large stores in the US sometime soon). So the people who do not possess a credit card might get a chance to obtain the expansion. Though this is simply my assumption and I may be wrong.
  21. The black-blue/black-red color crystals are still available from Rakata weapons and the PvP vendor that can change your warzone commendations.
  22. I have the same problem with the bonus mission codex entries. It seems there was supposed to be the second entry for Thanium Disruption, but it is bugged and unobtainable. If somebody can prove me wrong, please be my guest.
  23. You probably forgot about the datamined mounts, such as the Senator's Hoverchair. It is basically the Republic version of a floating seat mount. They are supposedly coming in the next patch, so expect to find one in a Life Day Pack.
  24. What is the location of this warzone? An unnamed Asation moon? I think the planet we can see on the screenshot is Asation due to its swampy nature.
  25. You know how I got my Heroes' Banner? Like everyone else, I didn't get it on the launch of F2P. Then, one day I logged into the game... and was shocked. I was a free player. Even though my subscription was nowhere near its end, I had all those limits the free players have. Okay, I thought. I logged off and then logged in back. Everything was as it should be, except that I had to move all my abilities back to the quickbars. I received more than 10 mail messages from TOR, including the one with the banner. That's it.
