  1. 2/10 so far, I don't even want to finish it. Using an agent for my run through, Kaliyo doesn't have the markings I assigned to her, stealth doesn't work, click here- click there move on, boring. No damage from mobs. Way too soon to level skills another 50 points. I like the 9999 stack limit that's about it. Trying to get agreement it is time to move on with my three friends (we came to SWTOR from WOW right at the start of this game).
  2. Not all expansions have to fit the WoW format.
  3. I would want a young Hutt. It is good to have a companion that is always making plans to take over the world/galaxy.
  4. Yes it is pretty sad. We found the best bet was to totally abandon the officer room <imperial> or rooms <republic> that gives you enough hooks to do fairly well <but you will still wish for about 50 more>.
  5. That's why Dragon Age 2 was such a success - less money - yeah - right. Though in EAs favor they did learn something and gave DA Inquisition a much larger budget and more time.
  6. Looks like EA hasn't learned that in order to make money you need to spend money. Budget slashed should we expect more of this for the future?
  7. Even as a healer I only could take him down with my healing companion out. Oh, and don't forget using grenades for an extra AoE.
  8. Maybe I wasn't clear enough, the problem is they don't seem to be trying to drag their own fan base into the MMO. These fans don't know about "another" raiding game, or "another" PvP game, all they know is they like the Elder Scrolls single player games and I believe Skyrim sold way over 10 million copies.
  9. What I don't understand is here you have a game with a HUGE player base with many never having played a MMO. They love Elder Scrolls as solo players. So what do they do? They hire a bunch of the old Warhammer designers to carve out a huge PvP area in the center of the continent. Don't get me wrong the PvP looks really good <hope they change the map a few times a year> but after seeing what happened with AoC and Warhammer why do they seem to be concentrating on PvP to cover their endgame?
  10. Yeah this is tough, that's why I always tell people they need to level as a healer if they expect to be great at endgame , ones that level as DPS are almost always fractions of a second slower. Maybe try leveling a lethal build to level 20 or so?
  11. So you aren't going to max level anything like Blacksmithing? I can't confirm it but have read that to max a craft will take 25 points and think you can max 2...
  12. Naw he has been crying on the general forum all evening
  13. So gimp yourself by not collecting the 45 skyshards <worth 15 skill points>. in that region. It might not force you to go but that will be felt for PvE etc.
  14. You can level your character in WoW for $60 now?....might have to rethink it all - not
  15. Now that Ghostcrawler is finally gone from WoW maybe it will improve....
  16. Well its going to be interesting to see what happens. ESO has got to be counting on keeping a lot of its Elder Scrolls players that probably have never played a MMO and looks like they believe these solo players will be hooked by the PvP being a major part of the world experience. I'm not so sure.
  17. The lack of a day/night cycle on the planets. Whoever made the very early game decision that each planet would remain at a certain time was wrong.
  18. If you have quests on the other side of the map you can just run around the central PvP zone. Should take you less than 30 minutes.... By the way this is from a interview I saw in MMORPG: MMORPG: Can you talk about PvE in Cyrodiil? For example, the various towns you can find strewn around the map. Brian Wheeler: There’s five of those towns out there, Bruma, Cheydinhal, Chorrol, Cropsford and Vlastarus. All right out of Oblivion. One of the funny things that I get asked about all the time is how is it possible that some of those towns existed back then but don’t exist now. If you look at the landmarks in Oblivion, we actually took a lot of them and made them either full-fledged keeps during our timeframe or made them towns that have still been thriving, they’re just smaller versions of them. But those towns, they have repeatable PvE quests to do and if you want to go try and gank some people, that’s another place to go to kill them. You don’t have to go to keep, you don’t have to go to a resource or to a bottleneck, you can head to those towns and look for people to kill. Or, if nobody is there, you can go and get some quests done and get some experience.
  19. Found a lot of the quests - <series of linked quests in a area> boring. They got away from the killing ten rats quests but instead you have to find a <fill in the blank>, you end up following your map markers everywhere cause it would take forever if you actually look for the <fill in the blank>. Not worth paying another 15 dollars a month when I still like SWTOR. NDA lifted for ESO this morning.
  20. I thought the same thing a few months back but it got stuck on one of the patches after reinstalling from the original discs. Had to start all over again directly from their site.
  21. I'm not up on the lore at all but from what I remember reading in the past a "angry Jedi" draws power from the darkside making him Sith according to Lucas. Maybe it's cause the Jedi don't want to admit to making any training errors that they call such people Sith, and the Sith don't care one way or the other to argue.
  22. Snowballs are part of my rotation now - deal with it.
  23. Except allowing 2-3 years between games it would have been almost time for KOTOR 5 by now.
  24. usually they use the excuse "all my friends wanted to go on a PvP server"
  25. Giggle, and they are all like moths to flame going to the game with the bestest brightest shinyest visuals Wildstar.
