Hmmm Well I am more interested in the resistance. My DPS is sitting around 20 % in the low 30's but my Guardian is sitting around 40 % again low 30's. Which is still low in my opinion and I need to get it higher. So what is your rating on the your guardian compared to the trooper ?

Well to be honest what else are you supposed to say to someone ? Pretty much you are left with 2 options. Say goodbye, or do what I have been doing and totally ignore the thread.

Makes me wonder though about the cash flow there. Do games pay steam to place there games there or the reverse Steam pays the game developer. Either way you know that has to come at a cost, but I wonder who profiting. My guess is the companies pay Steam in the hopes it raises there exposure and ultimately there subscription count or sales of units depending on the type of game.

Hmmm follow. Had a friend who used to be notorious for putting herself on follow. Got to be pretty funny cause we used to run her into water every chance we got.

Take that old computer that is sitting in the corner that is no longer any good for gaming and load steam on it. Problem solved. Best part is you can surf the web and do other things as well while you are playing SWTOR on your main computer.

One thing is for sure. I am glad when I had to make a decision about going to EQ2 or WOW I couldn't stomach WOW's graphics. EQ to EQ2 to EVE to SWTOR, I can honestly say I don't regret any of those choices.

Yeh a year from now the forums will be the same. The same fast burners will be back or there will be others but tone will be the same. You can't change people, especially in a society where everyone believes they deserve the world for nothing. The best part is eventually a new generation will come into gaming and the current ones will be gone or get a reality check

Are we supposed to go to the fleet to get missions. I spend my days on whatever planet I am currently on doing the missions there and finding groups when I need them, Oh wait your talking about 50 level stuff right ? Sorry not there yet, and apparently neither is a ton of other people by the looks of my local population.

Good question but by the looks of it 99% of the complaints are coming from the PvP side of the house. Funny enough it is a very common forum theme for any game that offers PvP.

Actually Car dealers found out the hard way that you can take things too far. There have been a lot of cars that have a very distinct retro look and are selling really well because of it. So just because someone proclaims something is the new standard doesn't make it so, nor does it mean it is better.

Exactly limited editions are numbered and only so many are made. And the lower number you have, well you get the idea. Collectors Edition - well for a PC game it has got some nice things that look good on your shelf if you are into that.

For the MMORPG'rs things are fine, some bugs but no real game stoppers. For the MMOPvP'rs I will have to take your word on it.

AS somebody who doesn't PvP or at least not anymore. I don't have a problem with class imbalance in an MMO. A tank is not a healer nor is he/she a ranged DPS. I expect to lose against a tank if I am doing a 1v1 as a ranged DPS. This is NOT a problem. Play a little PvE and you are going to see the way things are going to go. The same rules apply. However an NPC doesn't camp your spawn point. 1v1 is never going to be fair unless you are playing a game like chess with rules and everyone is the same. Of course even when the sides are even people still cheat. A 5 year old learns that if you cheat you haven't won. It is amazing how many people never learned that lesson. THe last time I had fun in PvP was in battletech (mechwarrior) There every mech had points and each team had so many to spend. So the matches were at least on paper fairly close and skill then played a part. Open world PvP and matches that don't use a point system or some other mechanic to even out the play will inherently never be fair. SO bottom line open world PvP you get what you get and if you want it to be fair then don't go there. Matches on the other hand should be fair as they are organized or so it is implied. Bio needs a point system for matches

I have been boycotting PvP sense day one, does that count ?

OMG that isn't right BIO should fix this immediately. Nobody has gotten billed for a subscription yet. This is just terrible and I want it fixed right now. Really, this was important, maybe to Bio but definitely not to me.

Soooo very tired of wizard and warlocks and zombies and goblins and gnolls. Tired of lag hacks in there many formats. Tired of gankers and their 2 year old mentalities. Tired of listening to people who obviously do not have a life out of the game. Tired of people using a game as a form of therapy. Tired of people saying it is just a game so they feel they have a right to be complete...... Luckly I haven't ran into any of the above when I am playing SWTOR. The forums, well that is a different story.

Actually BIo would fix 90 % of the issues if they would just move all the PvP threads from general discussion over to the PVP forums.

PvE EQ - example of grind fest but fun. EQ2 & WOW both released within weeks of each other. (basically the same game different graphics style) Old and stale. PvP Eve-online - PvP sandbox Rift PvP ?? - never playing it. SWOTR - PvE at least for me puts the RP back in MMO. Have no idea about the PvP side don't care about it. So in short, yes, long time coming and it is Star Wars.

Well The Harbinger & The Jekk'Jekk Tarr have standard loads right now and one PvP has heavy for west coast servers. For US west it is 3 am so those players for the most part are out. I presume the other are Australia and that area. Mid week and patch day doesn't help either. Even if it didn't happen wouldn't surprise me to see people made plans to be else where anyways.
