  1. It's so amusing. I can't do anything but laugh at this point because what they are calling 'balance' was, as we all expected, an over-nerf. 30% reduction? Sure, needed. 60% that we got? Bahahahaha. That's my only response now I think.
  2. Oh god. It's hilarious. Why even use a healer now? I've run through a dozen different heroics all on different planets. In every case, I'd end a fight with a healer companion with around 35-40% of my health left. If I used a DPS companion? I'd be high health. Same with tank. Ya'll said healers were going to be competitive? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Hold up... BAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  3. I know this has been reported several times, but here's an additional issue. Not only are they not working with pre-4.0 romances, but they are ALSO not working on new characters. I just got a character through Republic Belsavis (Trooper, currently level 65) and Elara Dorne is the romance at this point. She's kissed, they've done the deed, etc. and at this point should be eligible for courting gifts. She receives NO INFLUENCE at this point. Here's hoping there's a fix with what is hopefully a major bug smash on Tuesday.
  4. So how, praytell, should we kill Grand Moff Kilran in Maelstrom prison with an all-DPS melee group when his shiv takes 60% of a fully 216-geared (sans relic and mainhand) Vanguard? Or his snipe ability hits for 30k? I guess it's just L2P then. Lulz.
  5. There's a very popular thread on Reddit about this and just wanted to make sure it was noticed here too. Given the sheer insane amount of influence possible with so many companions, we really need to have a quicker way to give them gifts. Here's a couple of ideas; Remove the 3 second timer and keep them off the global, much like Stronghold decoration items. Remove the 3 second timer, keep on global cooldown. Allow gifts to be given in stacks. Given the great quality of life additions we've seen recently, this one would just really make sense given the strong focus on companions now.
  6. The heroic Star Fortress NPCs appear to be extremely buggy with their health pools. Currently, the standard NPCs sit around 38k health. Well, when they are close to death, their health pools max health drops to around 18k. As it stands, the heroic is a slog-fest because of how much health the weak/standard NPCs do have right now and it sounds like it's a bug. All of the weak/standard NPCs with the Exarch fight are much more on-par with other content in terms of health and time to kill. The gold Knights (not champions) also seem to have a lot more health than necessary, but since they are supposed to be harder enemies it seems feasible. Put another way, it REALLY seems like a bug that in no other aspect of the game does it take 6-8 globals to kill a weak/standard enemy.
  7. Story time, folks. So, I get a group finder queue pop for a Tactical FP on my level 65Vanguard DPS. I figured why not, tacticals are supposed to be quick/somewhat easy since the rewards are meh and mainly meant for non-trinity groups, right? I get in there with two other level 65s and a level 60, all melee. 45 minutes later, we get to Kilran. Yes, I said 45 minutes. And have a repair bill of 40k from having full 216 gear sans Relics and Mainhand (with a couple of 220s sprinkled in). Why did it take so long? Well, we were all DPS, and melee at that. Oh, and every single trash pack forced us to heal up because every single one of us was at 25-40% health after each having used defensive cooldowns on trash. In a tactical FP. Why such high repair costs? Dying, of course. No worries, it happens, but it shouldn't where it did. Let's walk through some of the bosses shall we? Exploding Droid Boss - No problems, as expected. Bonus Boss - Yeah, ya'll forgot to put heal terminals here. One of his knockback/jumps took over half our health. Luckily we were able to DPS him down before he jumped a second time and killed us all at once. Kilran - Ahh, my favorite buggy boss. Devs? Ya'll didn't cool down his damage. 2/4 of the team died from his Series of Shots as soon as we started combat with him because they hit people for close to 15k damage per hit. The adds were not bad at all, but Kilran's damage was insane. His stun/shiv ability killed me in one hit from around 60% health. And with the 'tactical bolster', I had 75k health when fully healed. So, we didn't get to finish. Why? He bugged out. As he has done for the past 4 years when you have to run back into him after wiping. His sniper shield never came down no matter what we did. Absolute waste of time unfortunately. Some can flame all they want, but Tacticals do need looked at badly. Especially the 'new' ones of the old flashpoints. Damage is way too high for a non-trinity group to compensate. Luckily we were all above 60 - hell, if we had some members at low levels it would have been even worse.

  9. And Yuun and Talos. It looks to be like it's systemic across all companions you can 'regain'. In my case, it's both before starting KOTFE that I've lost affection with C2/2V, and for all other companions that there is an issue with (Yuun, Xalek, etc) it ocurrs after regaining them once through KOTFE.
  10. This is very bad juju. What if someone starts the game today, works through all of the game post-Belsavis with Scorpio, gives her an insane number of companion gifts and gets her to rank influence 50, only to have it completely reset. Absolutely insane.
  11. Yeah. This really gets me pissed right the hell off. I'm not taking any more characters through KOTFE unless I can get my companions back or at least get some sort of acknowledgement here.

  14. Yet again, the 'craftable' 216 gear is buggered. This time, the pistol's animation of shots comes from - amusingly - my character's face and not the barrel of the gun. If we're supposed to use these, for god's sake, fix the graphics. The sounds are already horrible.
  15. Sooooooooo the rifle's graphics are screwed up. You hold it in the MIDDLE of the barrel and the butt of the gun clips with any character.
  16. A buddy and I did this just a few minutes ago, got to the second terminal room with the Exarch. We killed the adds, started to use the Voltatic item to take away his shield, and then destroyed the terminal as usual. However, he immeiately went back up into his shield. Nothing would work except a reset.
  17. Really, REALLY hoping the Companion Locator Terminal is fixed in this patch.
  18. So.....just don't put any influence into your companions if you don't like them doing so much damage/healing/tanking?
  19. They just need to rework some of the trash's damage a lot. A few bosses too. For example, HK in False Emperor took 3/4ths of my health with his bleed DOT as a level 65 DPS. That's nuts in a tactical. We should NOT have to stop to heal after every trash pull in a group without a healer.
  20. Up for a dev response or at least an acknowledgement of the issue. I'd settle for: Working on it.
  21. It has not been verified. They stated several times that they would not take away the work we've done in the past; e.g. accessing old companions. Having them won't be official to the story, but you can run around with them. The terminal is just broken.
  22. So any heroic that has an item you need to loot something off an NPC is not properly updating. On the Gamorrean Menace heroic I have collected close to 30 of the combat stims and my mission log only shows 12/15. Also, the same is true for some heroics on Nar Shaddaa. Only need to loot 1 key from a Mercenary Veteran, but I've looted 4 and the mission still hasn't updated.
  23. Wait, what? The purple stims still last for 8 hours?
  24. This really needs to be a priority today.
