Actually, in thinking about this... you know when the best time for Quinn to have betrayed you would be? The Chapter 2-3 transition when Baras's minion tries to get you killed in the cave-in. Had that been Quinn it would've made slightly more sense, especially because "burying alive" feels like a much more valid way for an Imperial officer to try and kill a Sith Lord. But he does it after you leave Voss. There's about ten minutes left in the story when he does it. The timing is utterly nonsensical.

You say this, but that's such a different experience than I had. At one point very early in the companion conversation line there was a flirt option and I didn't take it; I took the neutral option instead. He never got mad, bad things never happened, and in the end my female Inquisitor and Andronikos just ended up as best friend murder buddies ( /brofist!) with no romance necessary. Vector starts of pretty creep factor because of the Joiner thing, but from what I've heard and/or seen on youtube the most jarring part about it is how sweet a romance it is, stuck in the middle of the incredibly grim IA storyline.

It's also two things: incredibly callous and incredibly stupid. Incredibly stupid: Quinn (should be) smart enough to realize a blaster pistol and two heavy battle droids isn't going to do squat against the Emperor's Wrath. He's throwing away his life; even if he stalemated the fight somehow, no Sith would suffer him to live, no matter how much he groveled afterwards. Incredibly callous: If your SW is male, Quinn just threw away more than two years of loyal service that was apparently never loyal. If your SW is female, Quinn (probably) just threw away more than two years of relationship that was apparently a lie the whole time. If a female Warrior romances Quinn, the betrayal thus basically makes him a sociopath. I don't hate Quinn for what he did... I mean, betraying you for a Sith who is, if not more powerful literally, than certainly more powerful politically is kind of a smart career move. I hate Quinn because he necessarily represents a moronic plot direction at his expense taken by the writers. How he went about that betrayal and how it was resolved was some of the worst writing in any Bioware game prior to KOTFE

I'd be perfectly fine with a single unified story if they peppered it with a few class-specific sidequests like we had on Rishi. Of course the holy grail is a full eight stories again but so to I have heard things about pigs flying Story is awesome! I have a toon who is specifically my "story-playing" main. I love group content, specifically ops. Most of the flashpoints are terribly balanced, generally bleeding-edge hard which makes them impossible to pug. They're also SUPER tedious. There's so much trash with too much hp and they're all very long. But operations? I love them! My guild runs 8-man Nightmare (or whatever it's called now), and many of the older fights in TOR from the ROTHC expac are great! I also love pvp! pew pew pew! I mean I'm not great at it but it's a fun way to mess around with guildies. Or, you know, end up on opposite sides because of the "wargame" slot filling and mess up guildies

It was also the Consular (and I think also Inquisitor) item level 216 ops gear from KOTFE.

It always did, and group content (Flashpoints and OPs) always counted for the pve companion kill achievements. OP, are you standing around and making sure that your companion is there, standing next to you, when you accept the queue pop for the WZ?

Realistically, suggestions 2 and 6 would be the same set, but I can appreciate all of these

ITT: A bunch of people who don't understand statistics. Exactly how many types of game players do you think there are that a poll with three and a half thousand respondents isn't representative of the playerbase? At least as much of it that visits the forum, at any rate; in point of fact, forum-goers tend to be more hardcore players. And if 70% of responses chose more class story that means that 70% of hardcore players - who typically care less about story - want more class story. If 70% of hardcore players want that... then I'd be quite willing to bet a higher percentage of the playerbase as a whole wants more.

Really the biggest issue with trying to bring an IA through KOTFE/KOTET is all the damn scripted adds and fights. They give precisely zero ****s if you're stealthed or not and you will be shot at immediately.

Well, four years ago is probably around the time they started tossing around ideas for KOTFE/KOTET. Since that story arc started in fall 2015, it had probably been in development for a couple of years ahead of time in at least some state. So they... made the decision at some point to do 1/8th the work. Makes sense from a business perspective. Even if it is a terrible decision from our point of view.

Hi Lunafox! I missed the community (both forums and in-game). I'm also not going to lie, binge-watching every Star Wars film over and over again because I got really sick at the end of May was definitely a strong impetus for returning. Plus, I've got a summer job doing attic renovations so I tons of repetitive physical work without much cognitive input. And I got thinking about things again.
