  1. As a sentinel the only thing that kills me easily are snipers. Powertechs are weak to me.
  2. I hear you on space. My ship was worth more than all of my other things I had put together lol. I wasn't exactly a "poor one" either. I had mando armor for my bh, about 20 sets of +35 stat armor, over 65 cap or near cap weapons, tons of houses with some rare furniture and other rare items, a couple of every type of familiar, a nexu and a hawk-bat (both perfect), a couple of "fun guns" somewhere, did the jedi collection 4 times over, and so many resources and extra space parts that I had to use multiple storage increased houses to put it all away. All of that, and more time and effort - and more money - went into one single ship that I had than went into anything else. The thing had as close to perfect stats as was possible. I miss my ships And I do agree, overall, TOR is a better game. Just not as good of a community feel or setting. And the crafting and GTN need overhauls.
  3. I kick the crap out of lethality in pvp. Marksman kicks the crap outta me. In the long run DOTs always do the most dps, but not short term. It's about what's more useful in what scenario. Sometimes a damage guardian is better than a sentinel - all depends what you're doing.
  4. Actually you can use riposte to get around the animation delay of other abilities, so you can do a combo like that really fast.
  5. Not even possible. At most you can get two leaps and one only has a 10m range. Could be a visual glitch though; sometimes it looks like people fall when they don't.
  6. Ok. I have to say: I played SWG for over 5 years and I was really good at it. I always loved it and enjoyed the combat etc. But, simply said, pvp in swg had way to many issues to be called better than this game. Combat is so much smoother and less buggy in this game that it isn't even funny. SWG had a bunch of aspects for pvp right; but simply, the game did not measure up to this one for actual gameplay. It really didn't. I can't one-hit someone on this game. I did it as a spy, a bh, and a smuggler on swg. I'm talking 20-30k hits after armor. "Buff wars begin". Under the right circumstances, my damage increase could well exceed over 140% or more on swg. That's without counting a crit. I could kill people within 3-6 seconds most of the time with standard buffs. Anyone who says this game is a "gear war" never played swg. They had a gear war and a buff war going. You could not have a good medic without top lvl everything gear. Wasn't possible. Grenadier mando was totally worthless (I tried for quite a while before giving up; simply couldn't get the stats to work with it). LOS was a major issue. Attacks failed to fire way more often then they should have. Medics were a little out of control (My mains were medic and BH) - I could heal myself against 3 people and stay standing long enough for backup most of the time. And with the final medic update I could personally take out 4 people myself because they gave me unlimited action. Running away from fights was just ridiculous in that game. 60% of the expertise trees in the game was worthless. And while I liked the stats; they had some issues. They also way overinflated the classes (took out SK in a knight *robe* with 3 buffs solo as a dsj because they had not updated any older parts of the game accordingly. I also solo'd NK without healing at all - many times over.) Certain classes (jedi and mando being the worst) were too simplistic as well. The only parts of swg that beat SWTOR were crafting, space, and the general design and layout of the game. Now, take this game engine and re-do swg with it, and I would be in heaven.
  7. Best description I've heard anywhere. I actually made my knight female because I hated how the voice fit my appearance.
  8. Everything about the game affects players. Detailed notes would be greatly appreciated.
  9. 1. Kashyyyk. (fully explorable) 2. Mandalore (fully explorable) 3. Dagobah (more segmented like Nar Shaddaa or Coruscant) 4. Lehon (fully explorable) 5. Myrkr (fully explorable) 6. Mon Calamari (more segmented like Nar Shaddaa or Coruscant) 7. Manaan (love to see that shark again) (more segmented like Nar Shaddaa or Coruscant) 8. Mustafar (fully explorable) 9. Ruusan (fully explorable) 10. Ragoon 6 (fully explorable) 11. Kamino (more segmented like Nar Shaddaa or Coruscant) 12. Geonosis (fully explorable) 13. Rhen Var (fully explorable) 14. Bespin (more segmented like Nar Shaddaa or Coruscant) 15. Thyferra (fully explorable) In order of what I would like to see most.
  10. True.... but I would love to hear my knight say "give me your face" to some sith lol. (I personally hated the transformers movies, but I watched for the special effects; and for Optimus )
  11. I like this idea. Maybe somewhere between a 2 and 5% increase in chance each time.
  12. I'm in the same boat as him and I can cite plenty of factual events that would evidence my horrible luck. My guild makes fun of my luck. One of my guild members calls me a bad luck charm. Everyone else is afraid to touch my luck. My own frikin family calls me a bad luck charm sometimes. A perfect example: I played swg for many years. During that time, a system called "collections" came out. Pretty much described by the name; there was a specific collection for the bh class. Bh was my best class; I was one of the best on my server. In the top 10 best; only two other bh's I ever fought were on even terms with me. I started that collection day 1 when it came out. Up to the time the game shut down I never finished that collection. Never. Every single other person I knew who tried that collection finished it multiple times. I had one guild member do it 8 times (it was repeatable) in about 1 and a half months. I spent entire days logging in every 30min, and trying this thing (it was random: scan an npc, get another npc for the collection). I spent two months doing nothing but that collection. I literally tried it several hundred times. There were only 10 npc's possible. Years later, nothing. I tried it almost every single time I logged on not including the days I spent devoted solely to that collection. I did the "really hard" jedi one over and over. Like 4 or 5 times. Never completed the "super easy" bh one. That is what I call bad luck. Now, I'm not superstitious about luck or anything like that - I don't believe in luck. But, if there was some system to prevent something like that from happening with all luck based things in-game I would be very happy, because stuff like that does happen. Sure, it's a 1 in a million chance; but people do win the lottery sometimes.
  13. I don't know what made me suddenly think of this, but wouldn't it be great if Peter Cullen had done the knight voice?
  14. I want to know when letting an enemy in a war who just tried to kill you and promises revenge - or killed someone else, or killed a bunch of others, or caused the deaths of a bunch of others, or is a genocidal maniac, - live became the "light choice" and killing them became a "no-no". Partial list of examples: Rodian on Ord Mantel. Commander on Taris in the trooper storyline. Woman who kills the guy who's helping you in the smuggler line on Ord Mantel. Scientist on Nar Shaddaa. Fallen jedi on Nar Shaddaa who has been torturing and killing people for fun. Admiral or general or whatever he is on Quesh. Almost any sith lord (minus Praven - he was kinda brainwashed it seemed). Skavak. Anyone involved with Rogun the Butcher. Rogun the Butcher. Various random hutts. Genocidal maniac on Nar Shaddaa. What's his name's old padawan on Tython. Any defector of Havok Squad. Traitor on Quesh who murdered his own men. Various traitors. Various imp commanders. Various homicidal maniacs (ever wonder how many people would have been saved if Batman had just dropped Joker off a building to start with?)
  15. Knight. It may just be me - but I can't handle the male knight voice.
  16. Not to mention the fact that it was way overpowered. I took a lvl 20 commando in a wz and hit for a few thousand per round.
  17. This is the main reason I'm no thrilled with commando. It's so.... stiff. Knight/warrior are the best done classes in my opinion - in every way. The focus/rage system is brilliantly executed.
  18. How about expertise removal? That's what I want.
  19. No it doesn't - but I've seen this to be true. I got a large number of comms the other day from a close game where I lost. It doesn't seem to affect the other team. Simply the better your team does the more you get - same goes for the winners. Not based against each other (minus the bonus for winning) but rather based on the teams actual performance.
  20. I was estimating based on two points: Area of chiss space vs area of everything else and how commonly they seem to appear. "Chiss space" is really small compared to everything else, and because they don't seem to appear much it would make sense that they are mostly focused in that small area. Humans are spread across the entire rest of the galaxy - and they are the main species on most planets.
  21. I'm not missing the LOS issues or the epic fail updates for the different classes..... but I do miss my swg....
  22. Well over a trillion humans per chiss. Possibly more.
  23. Also, what is the name of the dude on tat for the knight quests? Praven? Something like that.

    1 medal minimum

I have been in a group that was so bad that we lost the huttball match in about 2min before. I had the most damage (and healing sadly - as a sentinel) of anyone including the opposing team. I got 1 medal. The other team got several each. My team mostly had either 1, 2, or none. I've come in with 1min left and haven't had time to get 3 medals. In a full match, since this update, I average between 10 and 13 medals depending on what class I'm on. I like this change.
