  1. I already left, deleted all my toons. I did not like the game after the first 6 months. I have 1 month left on my sub and don't play it. I have to say, we saw this coming and with the layoffs, I hope people get what was promised but I'm not so sure you'll get the new content that's promised. Good luck to Bioware and to those faithful customers.
  2. Everything. Where do you think those GW1 players are going? GW2. I've played GW2 beta weekend and fell in love with the pvp and the pve and the exploration. When i got back in to play TOR on Monday, I couldn't do it. PVP frustrated the hell out of me. Balanced? I hightly douibt it. A level 50 in recruit gear will get slaughtered by a level 50 in war hero gear not to mention that once the war hero geared player knows you go down easy in your recruit gear, they hunt you down like rabid animals. No it isn't balanced. There is no way it could be. Even in battlemaster gear, you are not going to be able to take down those in war hero gear and many of the people pvping don't or won't help you kill the damned BH who is up on the pillars shooting missles. It's frankly crazy that my sorc healer was the only one going after the BH. I'm leaving SWTOR. I got sick of fighting my way into an instance then having to fight my way out. In GW2, there are alternate exits or a button to exit instance. I pvp'd in GW2. It's awesome. The beauty of the world, the WvWvW. I'm sorry, SWTOR will lose people like me who'd rather not pay $15 a month on a game that frustrates the hell out of them. SWTOR has 8 stories. Once you're done with them, you're done. There is no exploration. There isn't even space exploration. I wanted to love this game. I played both KOTOR and KOTOR 2. In fact I've played many Bioware games. It seems to me that Bioware doesn't care about their fan base. And for the one who mentioned HK51, you have to have a level 50 on both factions. The quests outside the stories are monotnous and boring. Who wants to do that. Not me and not many people. One more thing, I'm tired of the rude, arrogant 14 year olds (actually many 14 yr olds are more mature than these people) who pvp and criticize, call names and frankly curse at members of the team because they can't, in their recruit gear, stand against those in war hero gear. These children need to grow up
  3. I also have a level 50 on both sides. I am more concerned about how much it's going to cost because in this game everything costs. They may charge a mil just to enter the quest. My higher levels help my lower levels out. I don't have a mil.
  4. Good point. I was playing Bioshock the other day and there are toilets lol and sinks and they are usable. The ME ship has a bathroom. It is very strange that they didn't think of these little things.
  5. Some people like to game on laptops. I have two that I game on and they both run SWTOR fine. In fact, my Qosmio works brilliantly. My Satellite A665-3D has to have medium settings but it only has a 335m in it (SWTOR looks awesome in 3D). The main difference is that you can't drag your desktop everywhere to play it. I'm flying to Dallas in October and I'm taking two gaming laptops with me, one for me and one for my traveling companion. I can't do that with a desktop. OP, look for a better dedicated graphics card. I have a GTX460 1.5gb and the game plays wonderfully. It is worth the extra 200.00 to get the better dedicated graphics.
  6. I disagree somewhat. I like cybertech to make grenades, and I make tons of mods for my lowbie characters., purples. I can supply my characters up to level 50 with purples.
  7. I agree completely. They should put gambling games in it, pazaak, saabac, swoop racing, and let us spend our hard earned credits on something enjoyable.
  8. Daughters Of The Force, I just sent an email but our guild master was in a terrible accident so the officers are filling in for her. Her recovery will be long. Please email me if you have any concerns.
  9. Bioware has broken a lot of things in their supposed fixes. The lightsaber one bugs the crap out of me too. Also the having to reboot because of the sound bug. That's ridiculous when you're in a class quest and half the time the voice does not work. Bioware, we need to hear what is being said in a story driven mmo. I also don't care about the LFG. It's called making friends and then having them be your group or it's called joining a guild and having your guild mates be in your group.
  10. Absolutely agree. I play from 6 to 12 hrs a day, or more, for 42 cents a day (6 month sub). Let's see that's 7 cents an hour on my slow days and literally nothing on the weekends. You can't even get a stick of gum for 7 cents.
  11. I love the game, met a couple of very close friends because of the game, group of three or four of us all the time, I'm a member of excellent guilds on both sides and I love the stories, after level 50, there's still a lot to do. My main is almost in her second set of Battlemaster gear (started with one set then made a change) and is almost able to afford her first piece of war hero gear. One of my guilds does Ops twice a week and when I'm not on my level 50, I have 6 other characters to level to 50. It's been highly enjoyable.
  12. Watch it, some know it all will come in and say it's not the server, it's your computer even if you have a $4000 computer.
  13. I don't even turn on general chat because of all the spamming there. LFG will be a good thing but making friends is the best way to find people to group with. I have several people I can call on when I need someone to group with me and they have several alts that fit what we as a team needs. Also joining a guild will present you with plenty of people to group with. I never have a problem.
  14. I'm very happy with Ebon Hawk but I'll let her know.
  15. I'm on Ebon Hawk, originally there, and RP was excellent last night with new people. So much fun. I'm actually enjoying the server so much more.
  16. I'm female and older than 29, lol, that's all I'll say. Woman's perogative. Did they ever get the guild started. I have a friend who is interested in an old peep's guild, just kidding. She's interested in a guild for older people and I told her about this post. It's a great idea.
  17. This is what a friend and I were just discussing, they need more instances on fleet if they're going to be loaded.
  18. Well I guess then that everyone I've heard from has crappy computers because we were all experiencing the same thing, even people with $4000 gaming rigs. And I never stay in the sun and I can bet you're not on Ebon Hawk.
  19. I think a second gen intel process can handle the game easily wirh a 1.5 gig nVidia graphics card. We have had issues with lag, eveyone having lag at the same time. Everyone on the server spiked at the same time, at least in our guild. Not to mention my computer which is a higher end gaming laptop but there are others with medium specs that Bioware says will run this game and think of what they are experiencing. I'm not saying transfers shouldn't have happened, I'm saying the Bioware didn't think it out carefully. Red meat is bad for you.
  20. Hmm, well it was raining in NY, I don't watch tv, strange to play a different game when you want to play this game, I don't eat red meat, and 20 minutes reading a book doesn't work. You should have said: 1) play some music 2)chat with your guild friends on their mumble/team speak 3)google something 4)facebook 5)research the lore of the game You are talking about geeks here. Those seem more fitting, lol. Besides the Ebon Hawk was good before. We never really waited for wz queue pops and my problem is the lag on fleet. Before they dump a lot of people on a server, they need to know that the server can handle it. My fps in the game is usually around 60, 50 on fleet, last night I was dipping into the 20s.
  21. Wait, Ebon Hawk last night, the queue to log in was 25 minutes because the guy I play with had to wait to get in. So don't say 10 minute queues. That isn't what we experienced. Not only that, lag on fleet was horrendous and we have 2nd gen processors. We actually had to leave the main area to get away from people. Of course, pvp is awesome with all the new healers. At one point there were almost 300 people on imp fleet. I agree with the OP.
  22. It was also in the E3 demo. I watched all of E3. Fortunately, there are enough races in the game that I don't need to play a Cathar, don't like their look.
  23. Sai'Ter'sabosen, she goes by Sai.
  24. Each of my characters has a personality in RP. I do not consider the story line RP but their personalities are exemplified in he story lines too. It's quite interesting.
