  1. Contrary to popular belief, PVP isn't a new thing to EH, which will make up the majority of the population on SF. EH already has regular pops and open world PVP wars. There was even a spontaneous one that happened a month or so ago without any planning. Now anything can happen as the servers merge, of course, but there is still going to be an active PVP community there, granted most of that is pub side atm.
  2. Anyone remember when an operative roll had no cool down and they could roll the entire way from the ball to the end zone? Yea, no . . . THAT was unfair. But fun if you had an operative
  3. December 2012 and had no life since then GG
  4. Where or whenever this happens . . . Can I be given notice ahead of time? #popcorn IRL dueling tournament?
  5. Well a few weeks ago my response would be that pvp was pretty balanced across factions with pubs winning a little more because they have lots of pvp guilds whereas imp side theres hardly any. But for the past week imps have been losing around 80% of the time. When looking at the scoreboards the disparity between damage points on each side is huge. Not to mention imps don't like to do objectives

    Spam Cap

Really I think the only warzone where spam capping actually works is novare coast. And that is if multiple people are doing it from different directions. Other than that, I really don't see why people do it. If you are sitting there in voidstar spamming the door and three people are all attacking you, they aren't just going to magically forget you are there spam capping. I haven't really seen anyone get lucky with spam capping except for novare coast. If someone is sitting there spam capping, then its like a dps farming day because you can sit there and blow them up without them fighting back or running away. In my personal experience anyways. Maybe I'm giving people too much credit.
  7. I haven't played on other servers enough to tell how bad pubs. But, I feel like TEH is pretty close to balance. Every few months it tips one way and then tips the other. But most of the people play both sides anyways. Several years back pubs could never win a wz, then it started tipping the other way and probably a year ago, imp pvp was terrifying and a bunch of imp PvPers quit the server or the game altogether. But now it is pretty evenly balanced, which is more enjoyable. As to the amount of healers on server . . . a month ago I couldn't get into an imp match without 3 or 4 healers on my team. I even got one with 5 . . . . And having too many healers is just as bad as not having any. But seems past couple of weeks anymore that I'm the only healer in 80% my matches.
  8. I wouldn't say it is that the pub side is good, it is that more often than not imps tended to be terribad. It has been evening out in the last few months though from what I have seen. So it is not quite so pub dominated as before. It can be a toss up most matches whereas before on imp side pretty much going into every warzone you expected to get a terrible team and get rofl stomped by pub pugs.
  9. Hello everyone, Because we just haven't gotten enough joy out of the new planet, we decided to set up our own PvP. This Friday 5/19 at 7 EST on the Ebon Hawk the Republic and Empire will be beating each other to a pulp on Iokath. There shall be lots of fun, killing, and lag. Come play with the cool kids. BYOB. Hope to see you there, we already have a lot of people who say they are coming! -FOTM-
  10. But fleet is where all the l33t Rp happens.
  11. You want to know why they do it? This is why they do it. They love seeing people rage about it, and it is quite entertaining.
  12. I think all of this is good advice. I would also recommend studying up on other classes' abilities and rotations. Even play them so you get a feel for what their highest hitting moves are. This way you know when to take it to the face and when to run away or LoS. Yes, you die a lot now. But dying is a way of learning how to avoid that situation in the future. Whenever I die I sit there and ask how i screwed up and try and think of what I should have done differently in the first place. Do not get discouraged, the fact that you are willing to ask for help shows that you are above most of the morons who PvP.
  13. Gotcha. I actually saw Gaz like a couple weeks ago. And my guild unfortunately is imp side. But if you do not find anything, my guild mates have their pub toons in Filthy Casuals and they have solid players.
