    Switch your one of your skills to diplomacy - missions are either light side or dark side and give corresponding points.

    Its default is off. He had his turned on... you didn't. Turn yours on in Preferences and you should be fine. I've had this one turn itself off on me (without any actions by me) in the current build - sort of like "Show Sith Corruption" keeps turning itself on.

    As mentioned before, several quests that offer dark side or light side points are repeatable. You could also switch to the diplomacy crew skill which gives dark side or light side points. You will be able to max out either way... don't worry about it.

    You can reset the skill tree... This is similar to the respec in WoW. Changing AC is equivalent to changing class...

    If you want more challenge, don't do all the quests on a planet and rush through your class questline. That will get you off the planet at an earlier level. If you do this, you can get to NS by level 17 or so... that will set up a nicely difficult series as you then go from planet to planet.
