Between quest rewards and vendoring anything that drops off things you kill, you should be clearing about 10k per level beginning at level 20.

Try torhead.com. Their database has a list of missions that you can access by planet. Find the Heroic 2+ missions for your planet and check them out. The database includes various information about the missions, including location of quest giver.

Expect to see lots of Jedi involved

Keep speccing the way you want to until it becomes a problem, then respec into one of the more effective tanking specs. As long as what you are doing is working - there's no reason to change. Some time in the next 10 or 15 levels you'll probably start to have problems tanking with a DPS spec - that's when you should respec.

This is a hard fight before you get your companion. Doable, but hard! After you get your companion it is a piece of cake! If you want to do it before you get your companion, either be prepared for a real challenge or group with someone. Also note that this will be easier for some classes than for others - even before you get your companion.

Nope. If you think you're going to pick an option he won't like dismiss him before the conversation (or if you find out he doesn't like it during the convo, hit Esc then dismiss him, then restart the convo).

If you are truly stuck at 9970 Light it is a bug. Once you get to 10,000 light further light choices will begin decreasing your dark points until they reach 0. In any event, even if you do stay at net 9970 light, that is Light IV, not gray or neutral. If you try another light side choice and you don't move closer to net 10000 Light, then it is a bug. Remember that Light side choices during a quest don't actually register until you finish the quest. This was working fine for me.

I think the point is that the word "negro" has not been in common usage for several decades. The phrase "African American" is currently preferred by most in that community (although a significant proportion still prefer "black"). Using "negro" suggests that you actually are not as multiculturally aware as you seem to consider yourself. Perhaps the OP doesn't feel safe in a guild that is not explicitly LGBT friendly - a lot of people in MMO's use pejoratives related to sexual orientation when describing things or people they don't like.

Nope. 40k at level 25 - they probably changed it at some point during the beta, but I think it was at that level most of last year. I'm pretty sure I remember paying 40k last June or July.

I thought that was an heroic mission... If so, then you just don't yet outlevel the multiple elites enough to kill them.

They go in your off-hand slot... down next to your weapon. You can just right-click the shield and it will automatically be placed in the proper slot and any item currently in that slot will be returned to your inventory. You can also drag the shield from your inventory to the proper slot.

Haven't done this as sage, but have done Quesh as a commando in full medic spec at level 37. Used tank companion and didn't bother healing unless I was fighting an Elite or multiple Strongs. Also remember to kill weaker mobs before stronger mobs. Are you putting your damage shield on your tank companion before sending him in? Don't you have an awesome AOE attack? I know I did as Sith Sorceror (Sith equivalent to the Sage) - got it around level 30 as I recall. When playing as Sith Sorceror, I would handle mobs as follows: 1) A lot of standards and a strong: shield myself, run in to group, cast AOE once or twice - everything but the strong mob dies. Shield companion (who usually had aggro on the strong mob by that point) and help the companion kill the strong. 2) Two Strongs: CC one, shield companion, help companion kill one mob, heal up, help companion kill the other mob. 3) Elite: Shield companion, send him in to gain aggro, start with DPS on elite, shift to heals when companion gets to 50% health, when companion gets back above 75% health, shift back to DPS. Lather, rinse, repeat. It helps to use that 4 second stun any time it is off cooldown, but I usually forget. I remember a fight on Balmorra as a level 36 Commando when I took on a same level Champion using this approach and was never in danger of dying - of course, it took several minutes to kill it... Make sure you don't stand in target circles - move out of them if you see them. This approach may not work if your AC is Shadow, but should work fine if you are a Sage.

Pretty obvious: but if you've just finished a fight and are about to click a Mission NPC, regenerate you and your companion first! Many Mission NPC's dump you into a fight after the cutscene and you don't regen during the cutscene.

I have had this problem - fortunately once I realized it, I was able to run out of the mission instance while my companion distracted the boss. Double Ctrl-U didn't work - I had to log out and back in to fix it. And it wasn't "numlock" turning on autorun...
