  1. The main point OP was making was that BW is not keeping up to their end of the bargain, which is to be more communicative with their players. Just because it's NiM that's being released and not something else, ofc the Hardcore PvE'ers are going to be frustrated. Imagine if it's something to do with PvP, that's about classbalance or e/e that suddenly got thrown off schedule. Then there would be 100pages of whine. It's not about some guy/guild who took a day off to play a videogame. We're all here playing the same videogame, so stop knocking someones view of it. I get and am with 100% that Ansalem wants to be in the top. If this game didn't have any of the really hardcore guilds, both PvE, PvP AND RP, then there's no way BW could even keep releasing contentpatches this fast. It's because of them that the game is still going. People's lack of response is what's killing an MMO. If no-one cares what the dev's are up or if they're missing set dates for releases, then there's no point in keeping deadlines or even having a messageboard. In the end, we'd all be very angry if the game we all enjoy to play, to our own extent, would be neglected by the developers because there wasn't any sort of response to what was happening to game from us players. If we don't show that us players actually care, then what's the point? GL with S&V NiM Ansalem!

  4. Ofc there will always be some people complaining and some people loving certain aspects of the game. But as long as both sides are allowed to voice their opinions, it's fair. Same goes for most things. But so far, I've yet to see this happening with the looks of the gear when it comes to male vs female characters. And frankly, to have some sets be male/female only, with the male set being a covered set of clothes while the female set is basically no-clothes and a couple of strings with small pieces of cloth, where's the fairness in that? If we now are free to choose what race (Sith Pureblood as Jedi Knight) we want to play, be it on a PvP/PvE/RP-server, but will still not be allowed to wear revealing clothes on male characters, even though they are designed to look well trained if you remove all gear, how is that fair? This might not seem like a pivitol issue, but it all fairness, we DO play the game to fulfill some fantasy of ours. If I might fantasize about playing a female skimpy dressed jedi/sith/agent/trooper I'm in luck. Play as a sexy slavegirl wielding big-*** assualt canons or dualwielding lightsabers, yes sir, you've come to the right place! But to not have the same possibility for those who prefer playing a male character with a slaveboy outfit or a more 'sexy' and revealing uniform, that is not fair. And even though most players are male, there are both men and women who DO like to have the opportunity to indugle in having their charcters to run around wearing such gear as the OP has posted. To give only one side this choice is both unfair and tbh, a bit discriminating. But lets not go there. We all want to enjoy our time playing this game. And to those who don't approve of male characters wearing such outfits by saying it's offensive and they don't want to see other peoples characters looking like *insert derogatory word here* running around in the game. Maybe I don't like to see players running around looking like a slavegirl wearing basically nothing or maybe I don't like seeing people calling their characters 'ObbiWaank', 'Luck Skaiwalker' or 'Tracerspam Umadbro' But it's each players choice to enjoy the game in their own way. I have no problem with that, as long as I have the choice to play the game in the way I would like to. Please BW, take a long good look at these pictures and ask yourselves, is it too much to let the players and the community to have equality for both genders in the game? I think not.
  5. Very good videos and voiceovers. Using them as guides for the guild I'm in, even though we're Republic It's so nice to see an Imp-guild from Atho (my old server) still going strong. Makes me miss my Sorcerer even more. Kudos to you and your guild and good luck on Denova HM!
  6. For those having trouble with the three mainbosses, here's some nice videos from our guildruns with easy tacs throughout the encounter. Hope they give some help for those who need it. LR-5 Sentinel Droid Project Sav-Rac Doctor Lorrick As some have said, I also really enjoyed this flashpoint. It all comes down to knowing the mechanics of the fight and working together. Good luck.
  7. There are LOTS of taxi's spread all over the map. Add to that the QT-checkpoints and the speeder. People are just way to impatient. Enjoy the world and it's vastness. When I was questing on Alderaan, which is a HUGE planet btw taking into account the bonusareas, I looked around while flying on a taxi and realised how amazing the landscape is. THIS is what makes it feel so cool and gives the perception of being a small humanoid. If we just blaze past the enviroment, looking down on the ground for the next mob to kill, then what point is there to enjoy the surroundings? Then people would only complain 'OMG BW, levling is too fast! GAMEIZNOFUN!' Don't wanna compare to WoW too much, but all of you who remember when you had to run untill you hit 40 and then you got your first 'slowmount'. And the flying mounts are cool, in a aesthetic way. But that's what killed alot of the things being outside the majorcities in WoW. Just relax and enjoy the ride. If there's something I want added, it's the name of the speeder/mount on the icon on other players so you can see what the mount is called. That, and beastmounts.
  8. In the end, THIS is what I feel is really important, if players are going to continue subbing the game. Ofc everyone is impatient, wanting to log in when they see other people have started playing. But a game filled with bugs or other things requiring technical/costumer support with bad service will loose out in the end. I sincerly do hope that BW will handle this game and it's supporters/players with the utmost care, even if all games will have it's share of complainers/forumtrolls. Patience you must have. Even though anger and hatred lead to the darkside (where I think most of us will be playing), no matter how powerful your Sith Lord will be, it won't be nothing compared to the suffering we all will be feeling if the game, in the long run, lacks good support in all aspects. I have waited for this game since I ever heard the annoucement so many years ago. I can wait two more days, if need be. I know you all can to.
