  1. Yea, I already came across a bug in the War Room and being in combat with nothing. That's a good idea. Thanks. =) I forgot about that. He is boosted to 600 in 3 professions. Thanks.
  2. I also play SWTOR for the story and was also looking into making it my go to mmo but Onslaught kind of ruined that for me. Too many unneeded changes imo. Stripped some of the fun away for me. Until about a month ago I last subbed and played back in 2012/2013. I prefer the way classes were back then and not the ones we have now. Reminds me of how WoW ruined their skill tree by splitting it up and that's what SWTOR now feels like. If you are a WoW fan then this is better imo. WoW had their skills gutted a long time ago and it has maybe half of what SWTOR has now. If SWTOR ever gutted their skill tree I would not play it anymore. Classes should have a ton of skills to allow players the freedom to "Play their own way". If some consider it bloat then don't use them. Tired of cookie cutter builds shaping class skill trees. And WoW also has the GCD but I think theirs is worse. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Don't gut skill trees. Say no to meta, cookie cutter build only skill trees.
  3. So here's my question: "Any reason you guys can think of to keep my boosted lvl 70 toon? Any pluses you can think of? Anything that I might be missing?" I made a boosted Marauder toon with the free boost I got for subbing but I did not know that I couldn't get any old story titles if I did that. I thought that since they weren't showing up when I logged in that all I had to do was go back to starting area and pick up story and do it but nope. Boost is useless if I can't have my Darth title. Plus it has a name I like and was planning on using Darth title with. It's also not hard to level another toon up and it's way faster then when I had last be subbed which was back in 2012/2013. I also love leveling vs endgame grind. And I'm guessing that some Alliance decisions have been made for my toon since he boosted straight to 70 which means they probably were not the ones I would've made had I had the choice. I have my Legacy maxed, all the class stories done with all the buffs, all companion conversations done, and I have already remade 6 of my 7 toons that use to be level 50 which was max back then. I've done this before in WoW were I boosted a toon I never used and ended up deleting him and remaking a new toon. Any advice, even if it's common sense is appreciated.
  4. I think they are suppose to be level 1 but someone added in an extra 1 to make it 11. I get them all the time on low level toons under level 20 but I just delete them now. Not worth hording till fixed because they drop a lot in my experience.
  5. I'm glad I ran into your post because I was about to post and that would've just been a dupe. Here's what I ran across as a Sith Marauder with no fix and also an in-game ticket left open. About half way into Force Enclave I enter combat and get attacked by nothing . It is not targetable and my rage doesn't increase so can't even try an AOE attack to see if that does any damage. I leave the area and it follows me through the entire War Room. Can't out run it and it doesn't stop chasing me. The little droid was firing at it at one point but it didn't die. Can't log out, can't quit, and can't leave area because I am in combat. If I type /stuck I instantly die and have to use probe. I can finish convo as long as it is not longer then my rez stealth lasts and get out of area before I get pulled into combat again. Only way to get out of it without dying and costing creds to repair is to force log. Unfortunately force logging only works if I am not logged in for a while. If I try a force log and then relog I am still in combat upon relogging. Please fix because it is ruining my first experience of this content and it is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth so to speak.
  6. She is under Flashpoints > general > With a Little Help from My Friends in Legacy. Complete 40 Flashpoints, Uprisings, Starfighter, Warzones or Operations with the Activity Finder.
  7. I like the Sith Warrior and Bounty Hunter males voices. And Sith Warrior and Inquisitor females voices. But since voices are locked to class instead of race I find it difficult to make some races with some classes. Instead of having a crap ton of class options I find I only like one and in rare cases two races for any one class due to voice not fitting the race. WoW is that way ------> And Sith are Horde not Alliance =P FOR THE HORDE!
  8. So I did some stat checking as I leveled a Trooper on Ord Mantel to level 14. I made sure to keep the gear I was wearing when I was level 10 and I would just re-equip it after I'd level. Here's what I found out about the planetary sync. HP @ lvl 10 HP = 2,171 @ lvl 11 - 14 HP = 1,384 (drops at lvl 11 and then stays the same) Armor Rating @ lvl 10 - 14 Armor Rating = 507 (doesn't change) Damage Reduction @ lvl 10 didn't check @ lvl 11 Damage Reduction = 16.13 @ lvl 12 Damage Reduction = 13.18 @ lvl 13 Damage Reduction = 12.98 @ lvl 14 Damage Reduction = 12.34 Ranged Dmg @ lvl 10 Dmg = 110 -148 @ lvl 11 - 14 Dmg = 74 - 109 (drops at lvl 11 and then stays the same) Accuracy @ lvl 10 - 14 Accuracy = 101.55 (doesn't change) Critical chance @ lvl 10 Crit = 17.54 @ lvl 11 - 14 Crit = 15.30 (drops at lvl 11 and then stays the same) Mastery @ lvl 10 Mastery = 290 @ lvl 11 - 14 Mastery = 162 (drops at lvl 11 and then stays the same) Endurance @ lvl 10 Endurance = 187 @ lvl 11 - 14 Endurance = 125 (drops at lvl 11 and then stays the same) Power @ lvl 10 Pwer = 21 @ lvl 11 - 14 Power = 0 (drops at lvl 11 and then stays the same) Critical @ lvl 10 - 14 Critical = 19 (doesn't change) Alacrity @ lvl 10 - 14 Alacrity = 2 (doesn't change) Accuracy @ lvl 10 - 14 Accuracy = 6 (doesn't change) Defense/Absorb/Shield @ lvl 10 - 14 Defense/Absorb/Shield = 0 (doesn't change?) Presence @ lvl 10 Presence = 619 @ lvl 11 Presence = 623 @ lvl 12 Presence = 626 @ lvl 13 Presence = 630 @ lvl 14 Presence = 683 The problem I see is that your damage reduction drops the higher your level gets, while your Hp and damage output stay the same after a drop at level 11. Seems like the higher your level on a low level planet the more damage you will take and your HP will never go above a certain point. And because your damage output never increases past the level 11 drop enemies will actually become stronger versus you because of your dropping damage reduction and inability to increase your own damage. Planetary sync should've just gave set stats with absolutely NO variation up or down. Instead you can't become stronger but you do gradually grow weaker. Planetary sync = failed experiment imo.
  9. Credit sinks are fine in games but those sinks need to not be the basic stuff most players engage in. Sinks should be a store that you buy cosmetics, mounts, pets, titles, etc. that allow you to show off your great wealth and not penalize normal players that don't make a crap ton of creds. Crafting credit sink = bad decision.
  10. Difficulty in games is entirely subjective. What you feel is not challenging might be challenging to another. no reason to turn SWTOR into a hardcore only game. Bioware should've had an option that players could pick whether they wanted the planetary max to be 2 levels above, equal to or 2 levels below max for a challenge. Also should've allowed those same players to turn off passive Legacy perks/buffs. Making players that don't want it more challenging have to deal with the increased difficulty just alienates a portion of the population and potentially shrinks the already small server population even lower. The two fixes I mentioned above would've kept everyone happy. Now I just see a sinking ship because of bad game decisions. Diversity and variation in games leads to a more diverse and varied population. Remove that and you shrink your population by catering to a less diverse group.
  11. If you have Bitraider and it updating stops it is almost always Bitraider from my experience. I got rid of Bitraider and haven't had any DL problems since.
  12. Planet sync sucks in that it makes you weaker as your HP example shows. When you're level 17 it is 5k+ but when you go above what the max level is it syncs you down and you lose HP and I'm guessing other stats drop also. Would make sense to try and not go above max or to do the Heroics before you get sync'd because it appears to make you weaker then when you were at the max before sync. I might try to compare stats at max planetary level and then after you go over and are sync'd. And planets also have had their max level dropped by 2 levels I think because some players were complaining that it was too easy. Instead of dragging every player, whether they want it more difficult or not, with them Bioware should've had an option that players could pick whether they wanted the planetary max to be 2 levels above, equal to or 2 levels below max for a challenge.
  13. I think you're stuck with it till next xpac. I for one don't like it because it is too loud. The first couple times I started up SWTOR I nearly crapped myself it was so loud. Now I mute the game at launch and only unmute when I'm playing. If they do nothing else they need to lower the volume on it.
  14. This is my biggest problem with Onslaught and there are many problems from what I see. The change of item colors and the removal of Legacy shield was stupid and uncalled for. Revert to old ways, please. "If it ain't broke don't fix it." So many things that weren't broken before Onslaught are now what I would call broken. Here's my opinion of what's broke. - Item color change (I almost sold a couple of my items because I didn't know they were Legacy. They looked like blue and purple trash items) - Legacy shield removal (again, almost deleted items because no shield and different color now) - Difficulty change (Not everyone wants this and there should have been an option for those that did want it more difficult. A slider that adjust the level between 2 levels above planet max to 2 levels below max for a challenge. Also should've had an option to turn off passive Legacy bonuses.) - Icon above vendors (Who asked for this and why? It is not needed at all. Vendors were NEVER hard to find so why change.) - UI change (Again, why? It was fine before and now it just looks like a beta version imo. Crafting mat tab should've been at top like mission tab. It's all just crap now.) - Crafting destroyed (***?!?! Why destroy something so many enjoy? I've only seen how expensive it is just to buy Onslaught crafting for the normal player but have heard many stories about how awful it is now to craft. WHY?) - Nautolans (I was excited to get a new race after all these years but they were not like the NPC's a lot of players liked. And females look far worse then males. Reminds me of the Nightborne from WoW were the NPC's looked nice and they gave us sour looking males not even close to NPC coolness.) I'm sure there is more but these stick out the most for me. Haven't even done the new planets or story so not sure if those would be on this list. Onslaught = disappointment for me. Worst of all is that I read it's been 3 years since last xpac. Is that even correct? If it is then SWTOR is in a sorry state from where I sit which is sad since I've been quitting games I use to play due to stupid decisions like streamlining, removing low level crafting and upgrading, making end game cooking and fishing, etc.. Came back to SWTOR to enjoy myself only to find out they are changing and destroying the game I use to enjoy. I have a little over a month left on sub and might have to quit SWTOR also. Sad times for MMO's right now imo.
  15. Holy sh!@! There are more bugs then content, lol.
  16. This is one of the things I HATE about Onslaught. I now have to hover over my gear instead of a quick glance and go method I use to use. Onslaught changes are WORSE then all the changes that came before it imo. What a pile of crap all these stupid, not needed changes.
  17. Since Onslaught I've only leveled low toons on starter worlds and I don't think I've gotten off of them yet so haven't even done the heroics on them but so far seems the same and the Rakgul event which wasn't easy. Maybe the difficulty is on higher level planets? I'm not sure if this is related or not but the Rakgul event heroic area is not easy or even on par with the other heroic areas I've played before. Not to mention that if you go in the normal area at a low level like 24 you might run into mobs level 75 which one shot you. Instead of the zone scaling it has some crazy sh!# like allowing players level 24 - 75 and so the mobs scale is also 24 - 75. Zone needs a scaling implemented imo. Not fun not knowing max levels mobs are running around till your dead.
  18. I just returned about three weeks ago after having been gone since 2012/2013 to find a crap ton of changes. Those changes though weren't as bad as the Onslaught changes imo. Here's what I don't like: Nautolans 1. Females look worse then males 2. Tentacles should've had a separate slider, been worked on more cause some are at weird angles and been more varied 3.Patterns should've been more detailed, less splotchy/smudgy and had more patterns like Twi'lek 4. Eyes should've had different shapes and seem too wide spread, Item colors/tooltips 1. Have to hover over items now to figure out if they are Legacy and if I can customize them. No more glance and go which was very handy. I don't even see that nice little Legacy shield on them now either. 2. No more orange for custom gear. Again, now have to hover over an item to see if it's Legacy/modable because can't just glance at color anymore. Dots on side of item DO NOT help me personally. 3. New color at top when hovered over and the way it looks is terrible. Way too much going on for just an item tooltip. Keep it basic like the old way. UI layout 1. Nice to have a mat tab but the layout is just weird. Off to the side when I think they should've just kept it to the top part like quest items and whatnot. 2. Character UI is weird and looks like a beta model to me. Hearsay from other players/other 1. Increase in crafting costs. Gold sinks should not include every day things such as crafting, skills, travel, armor, weapons, etc.. Keep gold sinks to a Jawa that sells mounts, titles, cosmetics, etc. that those rich fools can show off. 2. Not sure of what you're gathering. I think this is a bug but it is annoying whether it is or isn't. 3. Little icon above vendors heads just needs to go. Who dafaq came up with that and why was it considered needed? I haven't even done any story past the original 3 chapters since I came back so have no clue about the new planets and story but these few things I've encountered from the start bug me. Most annoying to least annoying for me is: Item change > Nautolan > UI change > Gathering bug > Vendor Icon > Crafting costs
  19. I was excited for Nautolans even though they are not one of my top 5 wanted races. I was disappointed in the overall package tbh. Here's what bugs me about them: - Tentacles should've had a separate slider from the faces and more variation. Some look like they are broke at weird angles while others don't quite lay correctly. - Male faces are O.K. though not great but females fall flat and look terrible. Reminds me of the Nightborne from WoW where the NPC's look good and the playable models suck balls. - Eyes should've had different shapes and the colors aren't that noticeable except for the yellow. - Patterns should've been more detailed and not splotchy/smudgy looking. Nautolan hype = B Nautolan reality = D-
  20. I was excited to get a new species and Nautolans were a species I've wanted, though they were much further down on my list, but they aren't as good as I was hoping. - The males seem O.K. in the face but the females fall far short. - The tentacles needed more variety instead of all looking the same and probably should've had a separate slider which would've given them more customization options. - The skin colors are just blah imo. Probably not lore based but really wanted a red version. - The patterns aren't very defined and appear as smudges. - Eyes could've used more colors or give us different eye shapes.
  21. I'm for money sinks but not ones that the every day player uses such as crafting, armors, weapons, skills, etc.. Money sinks should have mounts, pets, cosmetics and titles and be some random Jawa somewhere you drop bank on. Not every day use stuff. Most players either don't make a lot of creds or don't want to spend but on some very specific things and none want to go broke on normal game mechanics. With this change, the item color scheme change, the UI change, the terrible Nautolan crossover, getting use to not seeing my gathered items in my main bag, and God knows what else, this was a terrible time to come back and I am starting to regret it. There have been a crap ton changes since I last played in 2012/2013 but these are far worse imo and harder to get use to. Smh, just seems to get worse. Change is inevitable but if it ain't broke don't fix it.
  22. Anyone else hate what they did with the colors of items? I use to be able to tell what items I could mod and which were Legacy bound with a look but now I have to hover over EVERY freakin item to find out. Bring back old color method and remove the weird color tooltips. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT! Old item color system > new item color system.
  23. I've made 3 and probably going to make one or two more but I wish we had a couple different things like: 1. Sith red color 2. Patterns kind of like the Twi'lek ones - the patterns right now are not very defined and are smudge looking 3. Eyes with more color shades or shapes 4. More tentacle variety - remove a couple that look the same and give me one up like I've been shocked, another more spread out and a third with smaller tentacles Now they are probably going by lore so most, if not all, of what I want wouldn't get added anyway but I thought they would have more variety then they do. Faces seem fine to me though with quite a mix of looks.
  24. I didn't and I just checked. In fact I just put some in so now have 3 million but I will have to check after the emergency patch and make sure it's all still there. I'd check after the patch and if it's still not there then put in a ticket or contact support. Good luck! I'd be upset if that happened to me because I was preparing to use 1 million on one of my Nautolans.
  25. **WARNING** This discussion could possibly contain spoilers for any Old Republic books so if you don't want to have them ruined I would suggest you don't continue reading. I only have the Fatal Alliance (3643 BBY) and Red Harvest (3645 BBY) books but it appears that timeline-wise they could fit into the game. I was wondering if any of the Old Republic books ever made it into the game? I haven't played since 2012/2013 so some could've but I'm not up to speed. In Fatal Alliance there is the planet Sebaddon that the hex droids inhabit. Would make a great Flashpoint or Operation with both sides getting a different view and could even be cross faction grouping. On the Pub side you get there first and come under attack from the hexes while if you're on the Imp side you come in after the battle has started but soon find yourself under attack by the droids also. At the mid point both sides come together and then depending on what class you are you will get shipped off to one of two points like in the book. Force users are paired and the gun classes are paired. Maybe make the opposite faction neutral and you have the choice to kill them or to allow them to continue to help you and make the fights easier. As for Red Harvest I don't remember it much except it had zombies or vampires, can't remember which one, but either would make a fun little side questing zone or something. Again, could be a flashpoint but I only read it once so don't remember it.
