  1. I wish they had just waited until next year to release the full thing in September, or even just ditched SWTOR completely and started on KOTOR 3 and used this script. I'm not worried about the amount of time it takes, I'm worried about getting a complete product. It's literally less than a weeks worth of extra content right now, which isn't enough to justify sticking around.
  2. Disclaimer: Haven't quite finished the new story yet. The new story is pretty damn short, and if the monthly chapters are as short as these chapters I think I'll probably just finish up the 9 base chapters and then wait until next year (groan) to play through this full expansion. That way I'm not wasting 15 dollars every month on a couple hours worth of content. It's a bit disappointing to run out of content like this, especially when there won't be more until JANUARY. It seems ridiculous. I like the idea of episodic content, but this execution just leaves more to be desired. I will be back when the story is completed, but it's probably not worth my money and time to stick around in the meantime when I can just resubscribe at any point and get the full package. I still got enough out of the story for this month though, I don't mean to be a downer.
  3. Let me put this post in simpler terms so the OP can understand. While your attempt at collecting hard data is impressive, utility and burst are more important in SWtOR's PvP than overall damage/healing/protection. Now for my own opinions on each class using your data and remaining relevant to his response. When the Bounty Hunter/Trooper goes BOOM BOOM and everyone dies, it's still on a 1 minute cooldown. That's massive AoE damage done about 1/15th of the time for every Warzone, and that's where the majority of the class's damage comes from. That's not to say their single target damage isn't ridiculous as well. The fact that Agent/Smuggler is at the highest overall average damage levels even though they have no AoE damage just proves to me that they have the highest dps to a single target out of every class. Your data also tells me that SW/JK is as underpowered as I believed. Even if their burst damage can be rather high, they are most likely unable to get into range to attack, unlike Operative/Scoundrel. Out of every class in the game, I think these guys have the least utility. Also SI/JC average damage is the second highest, so along with their ridiculous amounts of CC they are able to provide consistently high damage throughout an entire Warzone. If JK/SW were more equal in terms of damage I would say this game is balanced around "Everyone is OP", but they aren't, so it's not. This game is remarkably unbalanced, and some damage amounts should be toned down, at least in PvP.
  4. They're barred from WZs for an hour, that's a pretty big penalty. And since you get taken out of a WZ if you log out OR D/C it's kind of unfair to people whose internet might go out for a second.
  5. There's also the flip side, Sniper Snipe and Ambush don't go off instantly (after cast), where as power shot and the other equivalent do. However, most of the balance issues exist on the Republic side As for the Full Auto vs Unload thing, Full Auto has a longer animation, and if some coding messes up during the channel time, the move doesn't even start (the channel bar stays though). I haven't gotten a Bounty Hunter high enough to use Unload, but from what I gather it doesn't bug out. However, Unload still loses a tick exactly like Full Auto, the only difference is that Unload uses two weapons, and therefore hits twice as much (weaker shots). Still, depending on your weapons, this could mean Unload can do more damage (I think). Death From Above uses an animation that is about as long as Mortar Volley's animation. The issue here is that Mortar Volley fires three bursts in semi-rapid succession toward the end of the channel (likes it's try to catch up on missed time), and Death From Above fires 3 bursts spread out evenly throughout the channel time.
  6. The abilities Snipe and Ambush have about a .5 sec delay before they go off. The delay intensifies in PVP. FIX THIS. It's not fair that Snipers have to be in cover to use their moves in the first place, it's even less fair when their moves take 5 seconds to get off.

  8. Removed bugs, glitches, and things they're definitely working on. Also removed complaints that were out of place (Focus target already exists.) Also cleaned up the list a little bit. These are issues that should be looked at, and NO ONE can really complain about any of them. These are ALL optional features, so you can't complain.

  10. I guess I could understand a dismount, but a knockdown, or any other type of CC is just ridiculous. They crowd enemies around everywhere with about 3 minute respawn rates and they expect us to just fight through them all and only use our speeders in cities or something? There's something plainly wrong with that logic.
  11. Yeah, you should probably listen to what the guy is saying more. He says he wants to find the buyer. The dark side choice is letting he and his family die for almost no reason. The light side choice is helping both of them, although it does screw over the buyer.
  12. Or, just reduce the damn time on stuns, it's ridiculous. Resolve apparently doesn't work, which is stupid because it's literally designed to give diminishing returns.
  13. Yes, this overleveled Operative was camping me today just by sapping Elara and then ****** my butthole (I'm a Vanguard, so there was nothing I could do about his companion). Honestly really pissed me off (More than level 80s ganking my alts in WoW). It's not fair. This coupled with the fact that my only CC is a 4 second stun on a long CD makes it impossible for me to fight.
