ive had to check my attitude a bit heh, did want to let them know though that my sub depended on resolution. This one is big though I doubt they have any choice but to fix it, the question being how long will it take. Hopefully a short time indeed =/

This is a VERY big issue for me. No dev response to this + the other bugs that have crept in over the last few months are a MAJOR problem, my continued support / sub to SWTOR relies on some dev / mod attention to this. Seriously guys, no response 24 hours after the 3.0 patch shattered GSF?

So to any of you who have tried to queue a game since 3.0 patch, you surely are aware of the massive list of bugs / undocumented changes to GSF. IMO these are totally game breaking, and after 24 hours with no response I am losing patience with the staffs attitude toward GSF. They may not give a **** about it, but its the only reason I sub. I created a post on the customer service section which outlines the bugs as mentioned here in the GSF forum. I would encourage you to pop over to the customer service / bug reports section and make your own posts, or reply to existing ones. (if enough people do this they can't ignore us) We need to get some forum presence on this issue, and the best way is to get our very committed community to make some noise that the dev's will hear. Anyways, I hope this all gets fixed soon and I wish you all luck. opinions are like *****holes everyone has one! That being said lack of joystick support is FAR from the most important thing to GSF. I am always surprised at the level of disdain over this decision. Would I love joystick.... sure. I have an expensive one I never use since very few modern games utilize it. But in the end a choice was made to make the game mouse + keyboard and IMO there is nothing wrong with this. Adapt and survive I say

so after the starfighter event on Bastion I can definitively state with experience that snares are working fine. I was regularly snared, sometimes with multiples reducing my maneuvering ability to 0. Almost everyone ran snare builds, and it was very effective. Can't say with any certainty about ID, but everything else appears to be working fine.

Got to play from start at 4 to 7pm or so (much to the astonishment / anger of my wife) despite having to deal with that later This was a freaking blast! Got stomped a bit at the start (and our 4th never showed) but many of the games were close / nail biters. Anyways just wanted to thank everyone for all the games, I will definitely be doing this again. Edit: Visas WTH man seen u on pub side it ended up ok, we got our 4th an hour in and then traded around for people after that. enjoyed the games I played against ya tho!

this should be an easy addition and it nets them cc's not sure what the problem is. There have been numerous requests for new cosmetics, and they have all fallen on deaf ears. Nothing like people begging to throw cash at you and you ignoring them /signed - take 15 mins out of your busy schedule and make some cosmetics for us!

I could get behind new components, but this must surely be a joke. Its obviously just a back handed way to nerf battlescouts, and indirectly to buff strikes and possibly put them at the pinnacle of the meta. IMO the worst part about this is that it attempts to COMPLETELY invalidate evasion from the game (multiple components) through a single / cheap capacitor. Your numbers are much too high to be reasonable. All this would do is shift the meta in a different direction, not fix it. Maybe its just me but it also seems a tad underhanded, the request pretends to be one thing (accuracy buff) but in reality its about something entirely different (removing evasion and punishing battlescouts) I hate trickery in politics and I hate it in my games

unless you know the pilot you can't tell. 5 ships doesn't really mean anything, people can have that and still be terribad. You can assume your in for a tough fight when you see lots of 5 shippers on the other side, and be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be a cakewalk. As to the ace thing, everyone has a different idea of what it means. For me I consider someone an ace when I have to watch out for them or pay special attention in a match. There are a lot of people that fit this bill.

There is no reason for abusive speech like you have described. But I do understand getting frustrated. I have yelled at my team on a couple different occasions when people are dicking around in Dom and we end up losing a sat because people are out in the boondocks spinning circles or whatever. I generally try to keep it constructive but there have been times where I lost my patience and got snappy. Never told someone to uninstall, but I have told people things like "Cant do this alone guys" or "what the hell are you guys doing". As to why people do this? Being pissed off is one reason, being a bad sport is another. Some people are just ******es though, these are people that do it all the time or in every game. Those are the people to ignore.

I just really love flying, before this game it was mostly single player games where the flying / maneuvers didn't really matter (but I did it anyway) In this game I can skirt through objects, fly inside of things, around things... get all crazy... and it actually matters because those flying skills can net you kills / less deaths. (Dev's have really made a trick fliers paradise here, especially inside some of the structures) Besides that I love the team aspect, I don't get to fly with my wingmates as much as I would like (especially lately) but the times when I do are really great. The rest of the time spent solo queuing is fun as well since I get to know the pilots and it ends up being that I am not really "solo" after all. The only un-fun thing is matches with no competition, all my ships are mastered and I don't really have any "fun" builds to putz around with, so I have to make a choice between very competitive and support oriented builds in those games (usually end up support, fly a lot of bloodmark these days) Those matches end with me feeling kinda dirty and unfulfilled. The reverse of this is true as well, I hate strings of matches where we are badly outmatched. I love competition as much as the next guy but getting stomped / focused repeatedly is not fun. As long as there is a slim chance and at least 2 other pilots I can count on its a good game..... but others with no support and back to back can get old really quick. That being said I love GSF more than any other space combat game (and I have played a lot) the mix of offensive / defensive flying and meaningful micro management of things like power keep me busy / interested.

played half of it with pincer-stock then half with flankenstein (both all stock) had a freakin blast, much better turnout this time. had a couple games where it was almost all -stock pilots. Played probably 6 games and every single one was close. Kudos, and thanks for the matches all.

hey its your choice to fly a strike, don't get mad cus you get facerolled in a subpar class (buff strikes IMO) On a side note NERF EVERYTHING please remove all blasters and missiles from scouts and replace with cuddle bear launchers and tickle shooters (until people complain about those then remove them too!) On a serious note t2 scout could use some tweaks but taking cluster away is not one of the things that needs to be done. There are thousands of suggestions on how to balance them and most if not all of them suck. This is likely why no balance passes have been made so far. This is a tricky one, but IMO it has to do with burst damage (as addressed through offensive abilities IMO)

Just wanted to drop a line on this, my latency never changes between east/west servers (at least in my case) latency has more to do with whats going on locally. Might want to check some connection stuff out to make sure thats not the reason (wife streaming, other **** in the background etc) Locally one of my neighbors downloads or streams an absurd amount of content starting around 6pm PST and this drops the whole neighborhood into lag spikes (wish I knew who it was so I could cut his line)

Sounds like your girlfriend / wife is an evil person 12.) Nose all the way down and retro thruster vertically when being aimed by GS 13. Engaging another GS at 14.9k, getting off a quick shot then retro dodging their shot.

Had this issue on all my stealth classes leveled during the event, did almost 0 bonus quests and skipped most of the killing. At about 32 it started to fall apart and by level 40 I had to spend a bunch of creds on gear. On my non stealth classes this was not an issue. They were correct in stating that with 12x exp you can get to level 55 with just class missions, depending on how much you level though bosses and some missions may be very difficult. I fixed this by getting into guilds at level 1, buying a 3 hour exp boost before killing my first mob, and making sure I kept plugging the bonus whenever it needed it. The last couple characters I leveled were about +4 level @ every planet, and I ended up getting to Makeb (47) before Voss. This was much MUCH easier, so end of story is use your bonus's and don't skip the quests / bonus (finish them where and when you can, helps a lot to pad the exp)

I think the 12x exp boost was a major blessing, and something that has likely brought back many old players who would not have otherwise spent the time to level their toons up. For me at least I had 3 55's and 4 50's waiting to be leveled. Not only did I finish the 50's but I finished off my entire roster in the span of about two weeks. I would literally have never leveled those characters otherwise, now rinse and repeat this on a massive scale and you have a much more balanced imp / pub faction mix as well as people experiencing content that they have never experienced before (adding value to stuff BW has already made) this was a very smart decision and I applaud them for it, I only wish it was still boosted from 55 to 60 since now I have like 13 55's to level up once Dec 1st hits. To the OP your sentiment is literally one of the worst types of trollhardy nonsense. A) your not alone, lots of people did massive amounts of work before event B) How does someone else enjoying the game / content / leveling affect you at all (besides giving more people to queue with) Short answer is it doesn't, if you don't want the bonus then don't pre-order.
