Jar'kai isnt technically a lightsaber form, Jar'kai is the art of wielding two sabers. Anakin used the Jar'kai with the Ataru form in episode II.

Its called Freebies, everyone ws welcome to join but only subscribers will get access to all the guild features, and any newly released guild features. F2P players will have to pay me real money to buy time tokens, which can be used to give them access to the bank, and other features for a limited time.

Dont know how cosmetic items and furniture and vanity pets are P2w but okay. Although the convenience options worry me., Does that mean F2P people dont get a legacy, or is the cartel market going to basically replace any future legacy features.

So does that mean ship customization is confirmed? I mean where the hell am I gonna put my Sith meditation Chair?

They were talking about how lightsabers clashed, and characters flinched from blaster fire, and you could see burn marks, and saber strikes on the enemy. Thats what they were talking about. Insted of just sitting their spamming attack like in wow, your character flipped, and did flourishes, and stuff. Which all that is in the game...its just not as exciting as they talked it up...well it kinda was at first, but now its just meh, my guy is dancing with lightsabers again yay.

No, but Bioware was definitely thinking lightsabers when they said that. Remember the old videos where everytime you closed the distance as a Jedi or sith on a mob using blasters, how theyd switch to vibroblades and duel you...yeah that doesnt happen in the game anymore, cuz its dumb lol.

Well they kinds did. I mean they told us why they took out killing companions. They told us why they made player choices less influential in the overall galactic storyline. They told us why they took out the unify cholors...even tho they put it back in realizing that nobody cares if all their gear looks exactly the same the whole game...even Blizzard realized that when they found out they could go through the whole game wiht only 3 sets of gear per class. I remember that post too "The Art department feels that because you are throwing away all of the armors and weapons they worked so hard to design, they will only make 3 individual gear sets per class from now on." LMAO. And thus begun the clone wars did.

I agree. However when your player base whines **** gets changed. Hell it happens in WOW all the time. They just have 10 million subs so anyone who complains about the changes can be shunned. Unlike here.

I just gave you two examples of the choices. Also there was alot more to modding, and gear customization then what everyone got in the open beta. Yeah Character customization really kinda sucks. But when they said there was going to be hundreds of customizeable options they were talking about gear, not character creation, in fact character creation was one of the very last things they talked about...in fact I dont think they ever talked about it really, just let it leak out lol. The moddable gear was really awesome because you could really make a unique look for your character, didnt matter what you looked like UNDER the Armor. However alot of that stuff got changed too in testing, because players didnt like how moddable gear made gear grinding pretty much obsolete.

Id say it was more the Testers than EA. Alot of stuff got cut during the testing phase. Killing companions, Meaningful Choices. Hell that whole kill the captain thing, made alot of players angry. Alot of choices in the game were supposed to open up more content later on, but players didnt like that they would miss out on content because of their choices. For example they even showed a video one time of the Jedi knight sparing the Sith's life on tatooine, and then later in the game you got to see the sith again and here about how his jedi training was going. That got cut during testing, along with how if you let the captain live you could get quests from him later on. Had nothing to do with EA. Alot of this stuff got cut during testing, by player feedback. So did crafting, and Modding.

When did they say they were going to bring MMOs to a new level? I remember them saying they WERENT re inventing the wheel, they were just adding the Story pillar. I know this for a fact,because since 2008 all the way up until about a year to release, story was ALL they wanted to talk about.

Large Scale world PVP is impossible, True, however World PVP is possible and exists, I see it all the time, On tatooine, Hoth, even Nar Shadaa, and of course the broken Illum. Its more like Grandma was born deformed, but you still have grandma, and when she takes her meds, you might even get a ****** batch of baked cookies. The Game doesnt have the World PVP most players wanted or expected, but to say they lied and didnt deliver, is a bit strong, because it IS there.

DId they say Transfers were optional. Im sorry I was way too caught up in my server being filled with people to notice. XD

Again to be the devil's advocate there IS open world pvp...it just sucks.

Well to be fair I dont think they could think up alternatives that their focus groups liked. I remember hearing them talk about fighting waves of enemies in End game content, pitting 4 heroes against a big army or some such, way back in 08, and alot of the people flooded the forums with, We dont wanna fight trash mobs, SO LAME. Make it like WOW. WoW has heroic end game content!! etc etc.

Then you dont get the Sith Eyes!!!!! D:!!!!!
