  1. What I don't get is why EA is making SWTOR F2P and hasn't made WAR F2P? I mean... really?
  2. Like a lot of you, this announcement of SWTOR going F2P leaves me with mixed emotions and an overall bad taste in my mouth. On one hand I hope that the F2P model brings in more players and expands the community with good players. However I can't help but feel stunned that EA/Bioware has decided to go this route. The thing that shocked me the most is that at SWTOR's age, it is still the most successful MMO to date. It had a lot of potential, and everyone I know who plays it has enjoyed it. Hell, I was enjoying Operations until a recent incident with my Ops group. However, going through Darth Hater's website I found an article about SWTOR going F2P "Free to Play: A Closer Look" and was actually angered to find that EA (during their earnings call) considered SWTOR a failure, especially the quote "The disappointing results of Star Wars: The Old Republic were largely offset by a powerful performance from Battlefield 3 Premium service". I'll put a link below to the full article. So I want to hear your thoughts on it. Is it EA just being greedy? Was it just the hype? And I want to hear your thoughts on Battlefield 3 Premium being compared to SWTOR. http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/21141-free-to-play-a-closer-look
  3. Com'on Bioware. Stop being a tease! One more wave, please.
