Hey all, Our standard group has been running hardmodes for the last 2 weeks. It's typically a guardian tank, sage healer, commando dps, and sentinel dps. We are seeing next to zero variance in drops when running with this premade group. The couple times we have swapped out a member or two, is the only time we've seen different drops. Take False Emperor for example. We've run it 13 times and seen the smuggler jacket 11 of those times. Twice it's been the Trooper jacket and those 2 times we had swapped out members. Are other premade groups seeing this? Don't bother telling me random is random. I know how streaks are possible, but I'd love to know if other people that run with the SAME GROUP are seeing very little variance in drops. Cheers!

Just corpse drag it if you can't find anyone to group with. It's actually quicker to do it that way.

Sounds like a group that thought they were good enough not to bother CCing which usually leads to wipes. You did nothing wrong IMO. If I was healing for a group that wouldn't CC, they'd be looking for a new healer.

Just ran Maelstrom prison and predicted the boot token based on the drops we saw up to him and we were right.

Sigh.. Come to Lord Praven... Our group has done it 11 times now.. 8x it has been smuggler/agent and we don't run with one. 3x Trooper, no knight, no consular.

You could have gotten the Tionese legs, those are Tier1 PVE drops that bosses in the hardmodes can drop. The last bosses drop Columni (tier2) tokens.

Man up and run hard mode. Normal is for pugs and it is done with a "loot bag" system. Some people get loot, others get tokens (or at least that was the pre launch plan).

Here are the ones listed in the "Galactic Conflicts" daily quest: The Esseles Taral V Maelstrom Prison Directive 7 The Battle of Ilum The False Emperor So it appears 6 are missing (the ones in the republic fleet on the main ship).

Torchlight had a "sell my junk" companion. Penny Arcade did a great strip about it. I want them to borrow from rift tho, and have a sell all greys button on vendors too.

Powers. Yes, I have an imperial agent named Austin but my main is a Sage named Heelim.

You may be able to just copy the whole folder without doing anything else, but running that small installer will make sure registry keys are there, it's in your add/remove programs, desktop shortcuts, etc.

Download the small installer from the web and start it on your laptop. Next your way through until the launcher is starting the 20 gig download. Cancel it, and then copy all the files from your PC to the same folder on your laptop. Should be good to go!

I didn't have slicing but still had more than enough for speeder training at 25 and at 40.

Retail hardcopy in Canada at least is still 59.99.

Besides the requirement for Speeder III, it is also a more "stable" mount in that you are less likely to be dismounted by mobs are you fly by.

Are you connecting to the internet through a proxy or some other anonymizer service? I can only think that your IP address is being geolocated as one outside a launched area for the game.

The key vendor's fleet pass sells for 1000 credits, but it is consumed on use.

Thirded! I love to pan my camera around to see what's going on around me while auto running. Not being able to release my mouse button to target something without it pivoting back is killing me.

Every MMO I have ever played has required a valid payment option to be in place for you to use your free 30 days: EQ DaoC Asheron's Call AC2 WoW EQ2 Age of Conan City of Heroes Rift I'm sure I'm forgetting some but this is nothing new. edit: Not positive what payment options Origin takes, but they sell digital 60 day game cards, might be an option.
