  1. From the 1.2 patch notes: Loot drops from endgame activities, such as Operations and Flashpoints, now take group composition into account. Sweet jesus it only took 3 months to realize whatever was being used currently was flawed!
  2. Yes. Only normal & hard/nightmare are different lockouts.
  3. We tried that, it made no change in our group. Do you have 1 of each class by chance?
  4. Yes, the drops leading up to the boss were nearly always the same too. It really doesn't matter what the previous drops were though.. That 11/13 is so extremely unlikely to happen to one group, let alone the nearly 30 pages of people it seems to be happening to. Something is broken with static groups, no two ways about it.
  5. Were you running with the exact same group each time? That is what appears to be affecting the randomness.
  6. HOLY ****! He's right guys, I never thought about it this way! The examples he uses to back up the statement seals the deal!! I take back this thread, there is no possible way there could be a bug in a computer generated random system. He's obviously the one that programmed the system with facts like these!
  7. Yes, 1 of each class seems to be the only way to see "random" loot. It's really sad.
  8. I've given up hope of ever seeing a solution or response on this. Between this and the buggy endgame encounters, I've really lost the spark to play. I only log on for raids and have no fun doing it. Mass 3 can't get here soon enough.
  9. First serious attempts at hard mode SOA tonight... We are third phase consistently now, but the pinball aggro makes it nearly impossible to line up for the pillars... sigh

  12. Did you change the party members you ran with? My 22 (maybe 23 by now) page thread is all about how static groups see very little variance in loot. To the point of predicting all drops in a run.
  13. My thread on this is up to 18 or 19 pages, well over 10k views. It's not just you.
  14. I have asked many times for people who run with the same group all the time that are NOT experiencing this to post.. It's just that there have been very few of them compared to the people that DO have the issue.
  15. Does it really matter how small the sample size is? We have 15-20 groups of people who are all experiencing very little variation in loot when running with the same group. It isn't up to us to prove that there is a problem. We are simply trying to gauge if there are others out there and trying to find a common ground as to why this might be happening and hoping BioWare sees this and investigates to see if there is a bug when seeding random loot for static groups. (holy sentence batman) The number of people that say they aren't seeing this is very few compared to those that say they are.

  18. Premade or static means the same thing in this case. I mean the group is already formed before it begins.. you aren't looking for random members to make it, as it is pre made by you and your usual crew.
  19. That's what we are talking about. Running with the same group all the time.
  20. Ran another FP with a different party member than usual and lo and behold, we saw some non standard loot. Hardly a workable solution when we like to run with the same crew however. I do want to point out, this isn't me QQing about not having my gear. I am full Columi or better. This is to bring an apparent bug to light.
  21. I don't change it from it's default. Just make sure your autoloot is off. Then, you look at the body, discuss who gets what in vent/mumble/TS, you right click, it pops up for rolling, the correct person clicks need, all else pass. I really wish you could link items from the body/chest though!
  22. Keep Master Loot off. It seems to be eating items. If you are running with a guild, you turn auto loot off for the "master looter" and he/she right clicks on the items after it is decided who gets it. Everyone else passes.
